Yes, but he can't just remove it from her spell, AND if i do have eyes, i read this:

No, my problem is because it kind of makes Virgil unneeded. His whole thing is his mechanical knowledge, which is right now made unneeded because the team has Batgirl, and his lighting generation, which is now taken by Kid Miracle. So you see there is no real point for Virgil to be on the team if both roles he could fill are taken

But that's flawed because we have another magic user on the team as well. Also it's not unheard of to have multiple characters with similar powers on the same team. And my character's magic only allows him shoot lightning so he can't magnetize things

Yeah but look at what magic can do, we are twenty posts in and we already seen someone turn a sword into a stick and another cause a enchanted sword fly to him. Magic has a wide, practically endless, amounts of effects. Static is just that, a static character who's powers are very straight forward. So when I see this it's like hearing "Yeah I can do what he does, but better, and I can do even more stuff."
