A full 20 level adventure? So this is a very long term plan then?

I'm not saying that's bad I just want to be sure what I may be signing up for.

Anything we should know about the campaign? Also any restrictions on feats or books you plan to put in place?

So is that:

Ranger (striker?)
Rogue (Face? Striker? Skill Monkey?)
Druid (I have no idea what druids usually do)
Cleric, Paladin, Fighter (Frontline meat shield?)

So that means we may need either a face or a controller. i can do wizard as it seems we might need that. If Bee Gee goes fighter I can take cleric for the spells, skills, and 2nd line fighter. If we end up needing a face I can maybe do like sorcerer but probably more like bard for the face and buffing.

I think I will go with a barbarian, as far as I can tell it's a pretty easy class to play.
Though I do have a question would I automatically start with these feats ?

Weapon and Armor Proficiency
A barbarian is proficient with all simple and martial weapons, light armor, medium armor, and shields (except tower shields).
Fast Movement (Ex)
A barbarian’s land speed is faster than the norm for his race by +10 feet. This benefit applies only when he is wearing no armor, light armor, or medium armor and not carrying a heavy load. Apply this bonus before modifying the barbarian’s speed because of any load carried or armor worn.

Illiteracy

Barbarians are the only characters who do not automatically know how to read and write. A barbarian may spend 2 skill points to gain the ability to read and write all languages he is able to speak. A barbarian who gains a level in any other class automatically gains literacy. Any other character who gains a barbarian level does not lose the literacy he or she already had.

Skill monkey. I'm going to try and get an ability roll with as high an intelligence score as I can get away with. They'll also be human.

As a note though: I have a specific character concept in mind, and I don't intend for them to put points in Bluff, Diplomacy, or Intimidation - so we'd need somebody else to be the face.

Possibly a Sorcerer, since we're also lacking for control?

I used to like sorcerers but not so much anymore since anything a sorcerer does a wizard does better pretty much. They can control kind of but the fewer spells they have really hurts, especially as things progress past like level 5.

Ranger (striker?)
Rogue (Skill Monkey)
Druid (I have no idea what druids usually do)
Cleric, Paladin, Fighter (Frontline meat shield?)
Barbarian (Striker)

As a druid, I'd be going for a variety of flavors, as the situation demanded, although my favorite tactics would have to wait until I pick up the wild shape ability. In the early levels, I'd mostly be playing a summoner/flanker, using the animal companion and summon nature's ally spell. I also like the roleplaying applications of the druid.

Barbarian (Striker)

Not a bad group, if i do wizard and get decent rolls I can cover face/controller or can do like a bard if need be. Worst case scenrio I can use like Sorcerer and utiize some splatbooks to help out.

I have no idea what class I am going to make. Really It will depend on either what everyone else seems to be picking and fill in the blanks. Or just go with what I feel like making. I have been craving to play a whisper gnome lately. (A favourite subrace for one of my favourite races, But I have no idea if races of the stone is going to be a permitted book. If not then I still have options) I have no idea for what class.
