Name: Amanda Holden
Age: 33
Species: Human
Personality: When it comes to business, Amanda will get what she wants, and she will do anything to get it. Literally anything. She doesn’t let anything get between her and payday, and that’s exactly how she likes her business. Any emotional baggage is set aside for later.
However, when the business is wrapped up, Amanda really loosens up. She becomes a much more pleasant and enjoyable person, and is incredibly sociable. Some would say she’s too sociable.
Skills overview: Amanda has decent combat training, though she excels at business management and in social situations.
Position on crew: Amanda’s primary role is in the day-to-day and long term management of the ship’s business operations, though she is also useful (and commonly utilized) in a soldier role.
Years on crew: 4
Bio: Born into an upper class family in England, Amanda’s early life was defined by a luxurious, easy life complemented by a family that didn’t quite want her. During her teenage years, she turned to drugs and began running with a group of people that weren’t the best influences on her emotional development. Her drug habit built up and Amanda began to amass a debt to her suppliers. By the time she was 18, it became clear to her creditors that she couldn’t pay off her debts. They murdered her family, leaving her with absolutely nothing, and threatened to put her to work running drugs across Europe in order to pay off her debt.
In order to escape, Amanda joined the military and found herself sent to space. She served for two years, amassing basic military knowledge, though she did not understand or appreciate the rigidity of the military life. She eventually abandoned her post and roamed space, taking up odd jobs in order to sustain her nomadic lifestyle. She moved from ship to ship, simply enjoying the freedom she found in space, where she truly felt that she came into her own.
At twenty-seven, Amanda found Trade Station Alpha. There, she signed up with a small smuggling ship, where her talents in business management were recognized; with Amanda at the helm of their business operations, the smuggling ship began to excel and profits rose at an unimaginable rate. After two more years with the smugging ship, Amanda moved on, looking for something new to refresh her life. She met Julius, and has stuck with him ever since.
