My character's stance might be (is definitely) colored by my own experience. You can only go through AT drills so many times before it starts to get ingrained in your head. And once you start teaching it to new guys, the division between your belief and the training gets blurred a bit. I've still got my Navy approved references for when it's okay to use deadly force sitting on my counter.

I'm going to post sort of retconning the fact that we hadn't launched during all of this. Obviously we weren't going to sit in the hanger and debate, but I guess nobody(but Rumi) wanted to make the decision to launch.

EDIT: Oh, and Rumi I kind of want to tone down the power of the ship like, a lot. To be perfectly honest, most of my plot won't work at all with a tool that powerful at the team's disposal. I'm talking it's scanning abilities in addition to defense.

Kira is bound by a very ordered code of ethics as set down by a Legendary Warrior/Philosopher who is credited with having lifted her people out of a Barbarous society that was headed for self destruction.
This is a very complete code because it doesn't cone from this Roleplay but one I played in during collage
Our GM had over 100 quotes by the Longwalker and they are all very similar to the Book of Five Rings or SunTzus Art of War and a hint of the codes of Chivalry

No worries Gisk, we can be using a sub craft of the Dagger, we had something called a turtle because it had a hard shell which was used for planet side flights.
Sorry if I got a bit carried away but the Dagger is an intergalactic scout ship of an advanced race
To tell the truth Kira isn't supposed to be using it as a transport because of the chance it could be turned to bad deeds if something happened
The Turtle is a Battery operated 12 passenger Mini Van that depends on robust construction to survive
It's unarmed, has a very limited sensor suite and a top speed of 1,000 Kph

I actually meant to ask about the ship before the RP went too far, but you guys kind of exploded the IC and I got distracted.

Should it be called a turtle? A dagger is something that any culture could conceivably create, but turtles are native to earth.

But while we're at this, can you give us a rundown of its general shape? I'm writing my post and I'm not sure if it has view ports, or a big bay door at the back or what.

You could always just come up with adjective descriptors for a turtle, like "Hard-shell" or "Walking-Rock" and say there isn't an exact translation to English, making the assumption that there are similar evolutionary paths somewhere else in the universe.
