Digimon: The Rise of the Forsaken

The Digital World is a peaceful, kind, caring, and loving place where Digimon interacted with and lived with one another in harmony. When the balance of things were about to be disrupted, eight young heroes were brought into the Digital World to save it. First, they were lost, but they gained allies of their own; Digimon who would become their partners through this strange new world. This group of sixteen would then make their way throughout the Digital World, solving problems of all Digimon, restoring the balance as they helped those in need. Eventually, they became known as the legendary saviors of the Digital World as they saved it from the brink of destruction from the beings known as the Dark Masters who only desired to enslave the Digital World and then make their way to the human world.

After a long tedious journey, they finished their long held journey. After a tearful farewell, the Digidestined parted ways with their partners, and returned to the human world as the link between the Digital and the Human worlds were sealed shut… or so they had thought.

Years passed, and then strange disappearances began to happen through the nights among those between the ages of 14 and 24 all over the world. It didn’t matter if they were rich or poor, smart or average, fit or not... all were treated equally in these kidnappings…

…just like you.

Oh? You thought you were safe while others your age weren’t you? You were sadly mistaken… we were watching you as well, chosen Digidestined. Just like all the others, we’ve taken you, and we’re going to make sure you don’t get a chance to get in our way as we take over the Digital World, and then make our way into your world. Don’t even think about finding a way to contact the original Digidestined…

…we’ve already disposed of them.

Hello! It's me, Gnar again, and while I'm already running one RP, and about to get another RP off of the ground as more and more players are entering it, I've decided to apply this RP in respect to the upcoming 15th anniversary of Digimon coming next year, and how much nostalgia I've been having, along with how much I've been craving to do a Digimon RP. So, today I bring you people a Digimon RP!

To sum things up, the original Digidestined are no longer around, and it is up to us to save the Digital World from the Forsaken- a group of Digimon who have banded together to take over both the Digital and Human worlds. I do plan for this RP to be slightly more edgy over normal Digimon RPs, so do prepare for some whack stuff to be coming our way!

Also, while I'm just gauging interest at this moment, I will be leaving Character Sheets here to see if anyone would be interested and would like to start working on their characters ahead of time. Oh, I almost forgot to mention! Players will be playing both their Digimon and their Tamer, as to avoid confusion and having massive delays in things. So make a pair of characters that you know that you will undoubtedly enjoy to the fullest~!

Count me in, as well, though I do have a question: what if the Digimon partner we have in mind doesn't have a Fresh evolution stage and starts right in the In-Training stage?

Edit: Actually, scratch that, I've found a Fresh Evolution from one of the games, if that counts, since this Fresh stage is odd compared to the rest of the line. It starts as a Smoke, but ends in the Holy line moving on as time goes. That's what it says, "with additional time."

Aha, sorry for not responding sooner, and wow, I'm surprised how fast the responses are o.O

Also! I wanted to mention that for the Digimon, you can create your own fanmade versions, or have Digimon from the series/games/etc., but it does NOT have to retain the personalities of them either.

If you can't find a Fresh stage for a certain Digimon, or if it's... strange or odd, then just make one up and make it reasonable!

Well, it's reasonable, I mean Mokumon to Sunmon, Smoke to Sun– things just got real hot in there!– I just find it strange, personally, but I find that it fits just fine. Just making sure if you're okay with this, Gnar, but God Digimon are allowed, I would hope? The Apollomon evolution line just draws me in..

Btw, I'm just guessing you play League, you know, with the name of the most recent champion released and all as your name here, but I really need to work on my Tristana build, because every time I'm paired at bot, it's either with the most ksing Teemo in the world, or solo and dying terribly. I'll post up my tamer and his partner tomorrow.

God Digimon are... let's just say that they are kinda pushing it. I think it would be best to stray away from any of the Olympos XII line in this RP.

And yeah, I do play League with Gnar quite a bit, I do enjoy him quite a lot~

so, can we reserve a digimon? I'm just asking cause I'm either thinking reserving the Ryudamon line or Liollmon. Those two lines are my two favorites.

Also, what are your thoughts on custom attacks? I would assume it's encouraged, but just thought I'd ask.

To answer the race question, any character can be whatever race you want!

These Digidestined are kids who are being kidnapped from all around the world, so go nuts where you wanna be from!

If that's the case, now, I'll start making one up. Hopefully, I can make it balanced enough so that it isn't too OP, but admittedly, the way my character was going to address the whole situation is the way he would in any handicapping situation, and deem the Olympos XII unfair, and never go past Flaremon again. That's just how he is, "Fairness and justice and balance," you know that whole hoo hah.

2 I think this is okay since you allowed it for Fresh Stage Digimon, but if we only use canon Digimon can we make our own line, like for example Leafmon-Budmon-Palmon-Vegiemon-Blossomon-Rosemon?

I think that would be kinda fun actually... so my answer is yes! This would be perfectly okay, just as long as it is within reason of course! Also, just a side note, Vegiemon and Ponchomon are both Champion-level-ish Digimon apparently? Well, technically, Ponchomon is Armor leveled but still... just felt like pointing that out X_X Anyway! To answer the question, yes, you can customize your Digimon line~

While it takes a lot to push him that far, he has an unfortunate tendency to hold grudges.

He grew up as the oldest of three children of a lower middle class family.The relation he had with his younger brother and sister was pretty good, though they naturally did argue from time to time. Other : Since English isn't his first language, he occasionally makes some grammar mistakes when talking to the others. Naturally I will put everything he thinks or says to himself in English and just mention that in character it's Dutch when necessary.

Backstory
: Loromon wasn't around yet when the original Digidestined and their partners saved the Digital World, but he loved hearing stories about the strange creatures called humans and their adventures. When it became clear that there were new serious problems in DigiWorld, he decided to look for and help the new group of humans called to protect it, never imagining that he would be the partner of one of them

Gungnir: Fenhuamon dives downwards from the sky at high speed to attack with its beak. If it hits the ground this is capable of causing a large crater.

Sonic Destroyer: Uses shockwaves created at mach speeds to attack an opponent.
Mjollnir Lightning: Unleashes a powerful bolt of lightning from its forehead.

Mega
Zeus's lightning: Charges it's lightning-bolt shaped blades on it's back called the 'Blitzmakers" with electrical energy and can use them to either hit a nearby foe, or if charged sufficiently, can created electrical energy blades to hit further opponents. Can only create two of these at a time, but their power is huge (the downside of this attack is the time it takes to fully charge, but if charged extra the attack similarly becomes more powerful).
Tornado Vacuum: The other two blades by her sides, called the 'Krachmakers', are able to whip up powerful winds just by Volcridramon's command. While it doesn't attack the foe directly, it can catch the foe by surprise, and the strong winds are able to lift enemies up to 900 kg off the ground, but it works exceptionally well with smaller foes.

Personality: Annabeth usually has a helpful, outgoing personality. She won't hesitate to help people around her and will attempt to help a situation in any way she can. Annabeth is also highly used to multitasking, allowing her to switch her focus between many things at once with minimal detriment to any of their completion.

Despite this soft exterior, Annabeth is also someone who takes rational, logical decisions -to the point of being described as cold. She refuses to allow emotions to impede her judgements, although she will allow herself to have proper emotional responses to the decisions she makes. She is someone who is perfectly willing to sacrifice one to save ten, or to sacrifice ten to save one hundred. Even if that one was her family or her closest friend; it didn't matter. She would mourn, cry, despair all she wants, but that doesn't change the fact that she will still make the sacrifice.

Backstory: What, did you expect something about how her parents were dead? Did you expect something like she had a past trauma in order to try and explain her apparently completely insane decisions? Of course not. Not all supposed madwomen have abnormal pasts.

Annabeth had a relatively normal childhood, although she always had a talent for learning things quickly. She was an avid programmer from a young age, starting from creating simple video games and programs to much more complex material. In middle school, reading old articles she looked up to a prodigy named Ken Ichijo, never realizing that he had become a Digidestined and assumed the guise of the Digimon Emperor.

Entering high school, Annabeth quickly distinguished herself from her peers and by now had a set goal: she wished to become a programmer. She also began reading a lot on the history of digital technology and read on how the United States Department of Defence Created a "Reaper" Program to delete one of the first ever major viruses in existence. Although the public believed that the reaper program was deleted after it's function had been fulfilled, she amused herself by in indulging in many conspiracy theories on how the Reaper program could be alive.

Eventually, Annabeth was accepted into an internship program at a software development company, but a few months later she was kidnapped into the digiworld.

Other: Annabeth is a skilled programmer. She also had a laptop with her when she was kidnapped into the digiworld and still has it with her.

Backstory: Was born, wandered digiworld for a while, became Annabeth's partner. What more do you want?

I think I mentioned in the opening post between 14 and 24, but I'm leaning more towards older, since things are 'edgier' in this universe. Just to be safe, try to make a high-school student or something.
