[OOC] Fuyuki High School RP

Not that Fuyuki, but it's named after it because I'm too lazy to create a plausible-sounding construction, and a setting of 'probably Kobe' is more difficult to screw up than a definite location.

The premise: every character is A) female, and B) either gay, bi, or otherwise interested in girls. Now, this world is a bit... unusual, from our perspective: there's a technological advantage in the interstellar travel and robotics departments, leading to both androids and aliens being surprisingly common sights. It also boasts a whole host of creatures set apart from humanity by not conforming to science in one or more ways. What does this mean? Well, aliens, robot girls, and monster girls are all playable.

Now, I have one more rule: in the first few in-game days, nobody should be declaring their undying love, spilling their heart's deepest secrets, or otherwise already in a committed relationship. Sure, you might know each other, but it's not a deep relationship, we're only a month or two into the school year and classes tend to rearrange. Also, no OOC pairing up straight away. I don't want to end up in a scenario in this RP where everyone my character talks to has already been paired. >_>;

Um, sorry, but that idea does annoy me. It doesn't fit mythologically, and it breaks one of the few rules I've set.

Name: Yori Aragaki

Age: 18

Race: Human

Personality: Yori is a confident person, and whilst she can sometimes be formal or seemingly unwilling to take part in social interaction, this melts away when she's in her element, fights. Yori loves fights, and when in them he acts in a way arguably a lot more fitting of her age, casual, cocksure, freely throwing out banter as she risks health and well-being. Even to the few people she'd consider friends, Yori can seem tightly wound. She often appears to be on edge, coiled and ready to spring at any moment.

Yori's a perfectionist, to her she must excel in order to be worth anything to anyone. To do less is a failure to herself and a disservice to those who have given her so much in life. To this end, she spends a lot of time training, pushing her body to a degree that would be excessive to most. In a situation which would prove to be too much for her capabilities, she risks injuring herself due to her stubborn unwillingness to accept her own failures.

Between Yori's sometimes amusingly wound up, serious personality around others and her choice to wear trousers rather than a skirt at school, she's not exactly the most feminine person out of her classmates. Something she will (probably) never reveal is her absolute love of zettai ryouiki, an attraction she considers both shameful and confusing as a girl.

Club: Judo Club

Background: The girl's parents were apparently important and respected, not that she remembered much about that. How she ended up severed from their care has never been of much importance to Yori, her memories of early childhood having all been within an orphanage. Not that this was a bad thing, her time there was definitely one she'd consider positive more than anything else.

She was always mature for her age, but that didn't stop her from getting into her fair share of fights. Bloodied noses and lips were common place for the scrappy girl. This is where her love of fighting began. Her time at the orphanage came to an end when a relative finally came forward to take her in - her grandfather.

The man was not around long, age claiming him only a few years after Yori was released into his care. Although their time was short, her grandfather left a powerful impression on the girl which would play a large part in how she developed into such a soldier-like young woman. After his passing, there was nothing much left for her; She continued to attended school, trained her body and mind, feeling removed from her fellow students in her solitary struggle against her own perceived inadequacy. In her time watching and listening, one reoccurring thought, a question, kept presenting its self:

What was left for her?

Notes:
+ Yori is quite renown within the sports and martial clubs, especially Judo, as a potential candidate for winning national gold at competitions. She has come to be an object of some admiration among these clubs. Many kohais wish for her to notice them.
+ Born in Okinawa, specifically the Yaeyama islands.
+ Yori's a tall girl, standing at five foot nine inches.
+ There's a notable amount of scarring on her body.
+ An Inciter of breast envy within Fuyuki Highschool.

I sure can. So, can I get a brief explanation for the school system? Because as I recall in American High School, 17-18 was senior age. Which is fourth year in a high school. Now, I've watched my fair share of animes and read way too much manga. Doesn't mean I know the school system of Japan, Korean, or China. So, maybe a brief explanation for me would be appreciated. Sorry if I'm being a pain. ^-^;

Name: Chi Sino

Race: Half-Fox

Personality: Chi isn't confidents, she often doubts herself. Since she lacks self-confidence, Chi tends to stay quiet and tries not to stand out. However, since she has a childish appearance that never really worked out. Chi is very kind, sweet and innocent, she isn't one for being rude or saying mean things. But, when a friend is in danger she will try to protect them.

History: Chi's family owns an aikido dojo. Because of this Chi learned aikido at a young age and practices frequently. Other than that her life was pretty normal. However, whenever she was asked out by a guy she always politely turned them down. She was just never interested in them. On her days off Chi would take enthusiastic walks in the woods that were behind her home. Sadly, one day when taking a walk Chi was attacked by an animal (she doesn't know what it was). The animal slashed at her eyes and wounded them, causing blindness. Since that day Chi has been blind, thankfully however she has good ears and a good nose and manages to get around pretty well. Her family still makes her practice aikido,though.
