Name: Drellod (Drel-lod)
Human Name: Duke Stroyer
Nickname: Serpent of the Storm
Race: Lightning Basilisk
Gender: Male
Appearance: Human Form- 6'7" Bright blue eyes (Almost unnatural), Caucasian, short black hair, a broad yet lean body build, rough Western American accent. (Similar to a wild western outlaw)
Hybrid Form: Similar to lycanthropy, his human appearance is all but absent. His skin is now covered in an armored hide, massive claws on his hands, a dragon like tail, hind legs, and a long snout. His eye color remains the same except for slits.
Native Form: The form Drellod was born as, a massive 40" long basilisk beast, walking on all fours and covered in armor and spikes.
Personality: Very blunt, dry, and straight to the point, Drellod does not like to waste his time. This does not necessarily mean he looks for trouble, but he will not tolerate any hostile behavior or threats towards him. The centuries have hardened his heart, making him more unsettling to be around him for too long. However, he is far from evil or twisted. Somewhere deep in that heart he has a soft spot. In other words, he has to get to know you first in order to truly open up. But don't let this fool you, hes stubborn and has trouble trusting anyone.
Fable: Drellod was the son of a dreaded basilisk bull and a storm nymph. After the death of his evil father, Drellod discovered that his loving mother was dying as well. He struggled to keep her alive, but after the loss of her husband, she had lost the will to live. Drellod became alone for many decades to come. That was until he discovered the first humans he had made contact with, a Native American tribe known as the Etuwa (Sons and daughters of the moon) He was curious of the creatures, going as far as to help make the skies rain for their crops, and heard buffalo to their territory for hunting. It was then he decided to reveal himself, at first they feared him and even tried to worship him as a God, but Drellod merely wished to learn more about them. Their gratitude was great as they allowed him to stay with them, in return to help the village thrive. However one person caught his attention, a female human named Natura. The two formed a great friendship, and eventually a heavy bond. However, Drellod knew he could never be with her in his current form and their relationship could not progress further. That was until he arrived.... A human like figure, he called himself Baildune. Baildune offered Drellod the ability to become human and be with Natura forever. In return however, he wanted Drellod to destroy another tribe just East of the Etuwa tribe. Drellod blinded by love, agreed and ventured off to savagely destroy the small village. This sparked a wildfire, (not literally) as the other tribe members were peaceful around the lands and word of the great Serpent of the Storm attacking them as the Etuwas ally was a declaration of war. Tribes invaded Etuwa and killed many, all that were left were a few children and Natura. But as promised, Baildune granted Drellod the ability to change into a human at will. When Drellod went to confront Natura she rejected his love and declared a strong hatred towards him, taking the remaining children and leaving the lands. Drellod had discovered the true purpose of destroying the village, to fuel Baildune's power of war and death. But he was no where to be found. This left Drellod to venture off into the skies once more alone, bitter and angry. Centuries later, the first American settlers were beginning to push back Native Americans from their homes, furious of this Drellod attacked any who dared to expand beyond Native American territory and this earned him a place in Native American and American cultures as The Serpent of the Storm. Of course many disbelieved those who survived Drellods savage attacks. Despite his efforts however, Drellod could only defend so much and eventually most of the lands would be conquered by the new United States Government. Drellod then went into hiding, and became even more of a legend. He still thinks of Natura and his heart hurts for her, however it is overshadowed by the unquenchable thirst for revenge against the Demon Baildune.
The Wild West: Drellod lived most of his human life undercover and under the name of Duke Stroyer. He borrowed the name from a gravestone he stumbled upon when attempting to steal clothes. With a full set of cowboy gear and clothes, his unnatural ability to avoid death and incredible skills earned him another spot in American history as one of the most ruthless bounty hunters to ever strike the west. Duke Stroyer. However when a bounty went wrong, he had a huge price on his head and yet again went into hiding, fading into history.
Present Day: Drellod soon came out of hiding but still adopted the name of Duke Stroyer. He became an automotive mechanic in a small quiet town in the Mojave Desert. That was until he caught word of a strange community in Manhattan that seemed to appear and disappear within papers and rumors. Realizing this could not be a coincidence, Drellod or Duke, moved to Manhattan to find this, Fable Town. Perhaps he could find himself some honest work, or a closer chance for revenge...
