I do have a question however, at one point I had a character who had developed a force combat technique that was entirely unarmed, using the force to augment his speed strength and stamina while focusing the force to create enough impact that it was even effective against armored foes. Would you allow that, or should I stick to the more traditional styles?

- Fast & Flexible: During combat she is very fast and will use it to her advantage. However this does mean hard hits have a more prominent effect on her.

- Trained Perception: She pays great attention to detail and will often apply these skills to investigations.

History/Example Post:

The young knight looked troubled as she made her way along the large arched halls of the Jedi temple, her eyes locked primarily to the floor in front of her as she seemed to be in deep contemplation about something.
"You seem troubled" came a voice which broke her from her deep process of thinking, causing her to halt her movement and look up to find the source of the voice. "Master Beitan, I didn't expect to see you so soon after the incident on Tatooine" she stated with slight concern, her voice a much softer and smoother tone then that of the older Jedi. Beitan offered her a small smile, inclining his head in a way of understanding before he turned to face the direction she'd been walking, the two beginning a slower walk side by side. "Indeed, yet it seems I have been tasked to head out on another mission and I have been asked to chose someone to accompany me. I'd like that person to be you" he said, the two stopping again as she turned to face him questioningly. He took in her reaction before continuing, "I assume you have questions, but believe me I think it's better if you hear it from the council themselves. What they had to say was... troubling" he said, looking off down the hall for a moment before refocusing on her. Alicia nodded, "Very well then, I'll hear it from the council" she said before turning to make her way towards where the council resided, though she paused before looking back at him, "You should know I have already accepted to join you, I owe you that much" she said, tipping her head with a small smile. Beitan nodded respectively before they parted ways. Alicia was interested in learning what the council had to show her and what it is that would be so important that Beitan would ask that she hear it from them directly. Such thoughts were questioning, but she guessed she would find out soon enough.

History/Example Post:Karl sighed as he stood up from his meditative studies. Something he had to do regularly as he was one of the few people in the order who could create such elaborate illusions due to years spent in training devoting himself to such skills. Mara Jade herself had taught him before her death and from there he had moved onward and upward. He walked out of his room nodding at several of the Jedi passing him as he walked towards the council chambers. They had requested to see him a day ago at this time, a pre-planned meeting was never good, it meant that something was going on. He pressed the buzzer on the door and waited for it to slide open, as it did he walked into the room and bowed his head at the council.

"Masters." It was Saba Sebatyne who spoke, Jedi Grandmaster. "This one has a request for you." He bowed again. "I would be honoured Master." Jaina Solo-Fel spoke up. The last of the Skywalker Legacy still on the council. he knew her cousin Ben and had trained with him several times. "Don't agree without knowing what it is Karl." He nodded his head slightly. "This one requires you to take a team to a new world. Originally Master Beitan was meant to take the team however we have new duties for her. You will be taking Jedi Knight Kahel with you.""I accept your mission Grandmaster.""This one received intelligence that it may be home to the Lost Tribe." This confused him, why just send two knights, not a master. Clighal spoke up. "The reason you are going alone is it isn't a very reliable source.""Understandable.""You have a mission to prepare for." He bowed again. "Thankyou Masters." With that he turned and left the room.

Inspired by these tales he joined the military branch of the Ascendancy, where he became a rising star in the counter-insurgency area, showing a great natural talent for ferreting out hidden truths, however, at the age of 22 a great shame struck his family and he was forced into exile from the Ascendancy, forced never to return. Heading into the galactic center he discovered that in the wake of the Yuuzhan's invasion, much work was needed for those who could find things that were hidden, and the need to defend oneself was constant. Seemingly perfectly suited for the position, he became a bounty hunter, and over the next 5 years he made a decent name for himself, even beginning to harbor ideas about joining the Mandalore clans. On one particular mission on Coruscant he came across Jedi Master Kyle Katarn, who sensed the force potential in him and, with much work, convinced him to come to the Jedi Temple and undergo the trials. While not showing any exceptional skills during the trials, he passed with enough talent to leave an impression with Master Katarn who took him under his tutelage, and over the past 6 ears progressed through his padawan stage, and has just been declared a Jedi Knight.

For the unarmed ability I was more along the line of wanting to see the history(If you are doing the history). It isn't exactly unheard of basically adding extra strength to yourself for your attacks and isn't much of a long shot in terms of a new ability I just want to see how he came up with it.

Also even with the technique you would have at least constructed a basic lightsaber, as it is a right of passage for initiates to become Padawans.

I realize he would have built one, but he may not carry it around. As for the unarmed thing, it's ALMOST like shatterpoint, its just that he uses the force to amplify and focus his strikes so such a small and accurate point that it could even fracture armor, that sort of deal. And I will work on the history, already got a little bit in mind, just need more time to finalize it.

All right, you realze that Shatterpoint can fracture armour and is a rare ability. Look forward to seeing what you come up with though.

There we go, edited and tweaked a couple minor things, I apologize a little for my background, that tends to be something I flesh out as I play the character, never really something I have entirely in mind to begin with. I also decided to scrap the unarmed style for the time being, it can be something he develops as the game goes on.
