Yo man, it ain't so bad. The Zerg are only in the Koprulu Sector, which is about sixty thousand light years from Earth. Plenty of room to expand before meeting them, if we even head towards the galactic fringe rather than the core.

Zerg are capable of inter solar system travel. Besides, where there's Terrans, eventually there will be Zerg. They like our brains.

By living in space, humanity will ascend to the next stage in it's evolution, when our souls are no longer bound by gravity. And naturally, this can't be done on Earth. Dude, I live in the Koprulu Sector. I fight the Zerg on a daily basis almost, depending on the job. The Swarm consumes, adapts, evolves. And then there's Kerrigan, who's psionic abilities can turn an entire Battlecruiser into a collapsed ball of metal, among other things. Fear the Zerg and their Queen.

Alright then, perhaps you can correct my confusion then. How does staying on Earth a single planet with finite resources, keep the Zerg from showing up and murdering us rather than going to space, where there are plenty of solar systems and galaxies that offer plenty of opportunities to be far away from the Swarm?

EDIT: Also, I won't be going for conquest. While you guys play little conquerors, I'm gonna tackle the important stuff, like finding out why we're here, what happened to the people before us, who brought us here, how to escape, whether or not we need to escape, etc spreading the glory, love and awesomeness of manga, anime, J-pop, tsunderes, yanderes and Japanese instant products.
