We've got a total of twelve accepted characters and four IC posts. You guys need to start posting. I literally cannot do more to encourage the health and activity of this roleplay. I set a soft deadline before, now I'm setting a hard one. If I don't see an intro post by Wednesday from any given member of this RP, I will remove them from the RP temporarily. There is no reason that collaboration and posting should take this long, and I just plain won't allow it. From Wednesday, I will be making the same hard deadline in that if I don't see a follow up post in 3-5 days, you will be removed until a later date. I won't be accepting excuses. If you come to me with an explanation, I will work to get that character integrated later, but they will not be introduced until after the initial portion of this RP. Furthermore, if your schedule has issues with this now, you should have left a long time ago when I was detailing out posting cycles and desired posting times.

I've waited long enough in my own RP.

I agree with you - there's a time and a place to be lenient and waiting this long for people to post is, in a sense, -way- past the time for gentle reminders.

I'm going to work with the final person to complete their CS, and personally work on an introduction post for my subgroup.

Hm... In that case, maybe I won't wait to collaborate on how Lien ended up in the Rising. I think I'll just go ahead and make her already a member and we can determine later if the recruiter she followed was one of your characters or an NPC.

Also, Prince - where is this Underground City? Do we have any information around it's location, how to find it, the likes? I'm hoping it's somewhere in the Earth Kingdom.

Stitches, did you even read the intro post? Within the post, its explained how to get into the city and where it is.

This specific Underground City is located under Omashu in the Earth Kingdom. Its entrances are built into the Omashu sewer system and secretly tunneled down deeper into the ground with several hidden entrances and exits. One can enter the Underground City by entering the Omashu sewers or via one of three cave entrances 2-3 miles outside Omashu that head downward until they reach the maze of tunnels made by the Earthbending engineers. The City is then ventilated with a series of large shafts built into the cliff, far below the city of Omashu, using a fire that heats air to rise so that cooler air from a different set of vents and constantly oxygenate the entire area while a) feeding the fire and b) providing a light source using several glass panes and chandelier-like mirrors, as to minimize the actual size of the fire needed thus reduce oxygen depletion.

Ah, right. Apologies; I've been mainly focusing on that which talked about the Phoenix Kingdom's influence in order to make up some sort of outpost for my team than to actually knuckle down and -read- for the actual part about the Underground City.

Thank you for being helpful, though. Turns out I had a bad case of tunnel vision.

EDIT: Posted. Hopefully this'll be alright, it's rather succinct in terms of my usual posts - but that's mainly because I'm setting the scene for everyone else. I prefer to express the details clearly than to talk too much about Jian's internal monologue to begin with, as I am leading the subgroup and the plot has to keep driving forward to get to the main group.

I also added a sort of practice of Jian's intelligence with the cart tracks. Later on I hope to be able to PM people about what Jian might find out about them, so I hope you all regularly check your PMs!

Posting now because I'm going on holiday -- terrible timing, I know -- but I should be back before the 3-5 day rule kicks me out. I'm admittedly cutting it fine. Stitches has permission to do whatever she wants with Jun's unconscious body while I'm gone (and I expect her to abuse that).

I also hope the post was okay! I'm a bit out of practice and it was pretty rushed!

If you're brand new, I'll extend the intro date for you a bit, but I'd like to have Uquo introduced by Thursday.

So...we have to introduce ourselves to the rising by this evening, Prince? Because with one of my characters on holiday, and one of them still working on the CS, it's hard to pull it off.

Alternatively, I don't mind waiting until the Rising are on the move to bump into them if that's another option. It'll make the difference between the Kwan Family finding the outskirts of Omashu, or some sort of small, oppressed farming village in the vastness of the Earth Kingdom.

I have had the first IC post up for three weeks. Everyone has had fair and equal opportunities to make there CS's and get their posting done, save the later characters. If you're traveling as a group, everyone just needs to get their post out of the way, then slide by. However, I can't be terribly lenient when a full twenty days past and I only received eight IC posts. What's hard to pull off is a whole Avatar world like this, and getting the IC posting done right. At times, I do have to be strict.

What I will likely do for your case is allow the majority of you to post your intros, then let the remainder of your group fall into place later. There's a couple of you RP'ing together, no reason someone whom hasn't finished their CS can't pop in later. I also know the holiday player gave permission to use their character while asleep, so it shouldn't be terribly hard to work around it.

While I can't answer this with 100% certainty, I think you should at least try or maybe PM Prince in case he doesn't see this. It's possible he just missed your original post about the status of new characters joining.
