.~. Dark Brown Hair | 5'5" | 105 lbs | Pale Blue Eyes .~.

Name: Lizbeth Ellen Klyde.
Alias(s): Lucky Charm. (Nick name more then actual alias.)
Age: Twenty (20).
Affiliations: Corporate.

Powers:
Probability Manipulation - Liz has the ability to effect the probability of events occurring around her. She can effect the probability of nearly anything in either a positive or negative light. The one thing she can't the probability of is a persons free will. She can't make someone vehemently against Guns suddenly have an urge to go to a shooting range, but she can effect the probability of effect happening around them that may bring to light thoughts that could disway them slowly. But nothing outright effecting free will.

When dealing with the probability of events the only stipulation is she has to be around to watch the event occur. She can't be in California and cause a car accident in Utah. She physically has to watch the events unfold. She has the capacity to use live video to manipulate the probability of things but her disconnect from the area often leads to strange things happening. So she often stays away from using that means of her gift.

Most of her gift is subconscious, working thoughtlessly to lead a certain events to occur from a vague conscious thought. Though this does not mean she cannot consciously and actively manipulate the events that occur around her. She is just usually to lazy.

Skills:
Being able to control the probability of events around her she hasn't really developed any substantial skills. She is barely above average scholastically. She is fit and healthy so she is perfectly capable of mundane tasks. She is a rather decent artist though that offers no worldly significance. Oh, she is allergic to strawberries so she is rather good at avoiding those.

Equipment:
Sony Xperia Z1s (smart phone)
Pack of Virginia Slims (Slender Cigarettes)
Lighter

Duskshine: I'll accept your edits, but your powers will be affected a lot based on the number you're affecting. One person is easy, two people twice as hard, three people would be three times as hard as one, etc. The more effects you layer on them, the more difficult it will be. Most supers also have some resistance to your telepathy, but non-supers are much more susceptible.

Silent Resonance: Can I get some examples of your powers at maximum? For example, during a stormy night could she increase the chances of someone being struck by lightning? Can she take the tiny chance of a power plant blowing up, and make it inevitable?

MiddleEarthRoze: I am! The Mercenary Faction is currently closed, although you can still join Corporate and the Heroes. Right now I'm really pushing membership for Heroes, though.

That's exactly how I was thinking my powers would work. I was considering adding in a bit on how Supers can block him out but I figured I'd just explain it in game. Would you still say with those abilities I'd be B rank? Or would I be closer to A? It's hard for me to tell since my powers are all mental so I'm not [i]really/[i] doing anything.

It's really hard to decide what ranking you are. Is a sense you're very strong, being able to blind or deafen a target, or cause them extreme pain. In another sense you're not, because you lack real stopping power. I would keep you at B Rank I think, but a high B Rank.

@StephenRouse:

Lightning striking a person or location DURING a Lightning Storm would be very easy for her. Simply raising the odds a specific someone would be struck by lightning by a large degree that it is near impossible it wouldn't happen. Though like I said I can not force free will. So I might be able to persuade a lightning strike down on someones location, but I can't control them to sit put and take it. Know what I mean?

And to the second, yes. She can't exactly just be like... "Boom, explosion." It would be more like she figures out a series of events that would lead to the power plants demise and set forth those events. So it wouldn't be instantaneous, it would be a chain of events leading to the ultimate goal of the power plant going up. Now again, if an observant person happens to see these events transpiring, they could act fast and maybe stop the ball rolling towards the end goal.

I'm not sure if you're still accepting, but once I started it was kinda hard to stop.

Name: Adrian Gardner
Alias(s): N/A
Age: 28
Affiliations: Where would you like him?
Description: Having trouble finding an image. Dark brown eyes, slightly curly black hair that he keeps short. 175 cm, 70 kg, has a runners build. Wears a nice black suit and waist coat with a red tie. Black suit pants and shiny dress shoes

Powers:
Pushing: Adrian can push metal objects away from his center of gravity in a straight line, proportionally to his weight. This means that if he tries to push something that is heavier that him then Adrian is pushed back instead. Adrian uses this to fly, sort of. He drops a coin pushes it (or any metal really, a car, a nail, whatever) to the ground and then he shoots upwards, Offensively Adrian tends to use coins, launching them at bullet like speeds or to accelerate a bullet increasing its penetrating power. Defensively Adrian can make a 2 meter Push bubble around himself to steer any metal projectiles off course. Adrian has a "standby" mode for his Pushing allowing him to see blue threads connecting him to each piece of metal. Adrian can use this for espionage purposes by seeing if there is any metal moving about.

Weight Storage: Adrian can store weight to be used later, meaning he goes about his life at a fraction of his weight the weight he isn't using is stored. Adrian can then call on that stored weight, making him heavier than normal. This weight rebound can be used one of two ways, making him marginally heavier for a while, good for making punches hit harder, or insanely heavy for an instant which is useful when he wants to push something especially heavy. Note: It would take a year at one quarter weight to be able to knock down a building. Note: Even if Adrian weighed as much as a mountain his skin is still squishy, meaning he can be shot and stabbed, but not crushed or punched.

Silver Tongue: Adrian's tongue is literally silver. It makes him slightly more persuasive. Not much else to say.

Skills: Adrian used to be a long distance runner and as such has a good amount of endurance, Adrian can shoot a guy but not with a superhuman level of accuracy, investigating, voice mimicry. He's also good at golf and billiards.
Equipment:
A whole bunch of coins, they're all over his clothes really. Up his sleeves, knotted into his tie, in his gloves you get the idea.
A special revolver that only he can activate with his Pushing
Punch knife hidden as his belt buckle
A metal filling in one of his teeth.
Waistcoat with metal buttons covered with fabric
Black opal cuff links. Style is important

Ranking: Low B? From what I've read Mr Gardner would be squishy compared to most here if accepted

@Silent Resonance: Could you give me a maximum number you can multiply odds by? It doesn't have to be in this thread, you can PM it to me. I just need a solid number that's your absolute maximum at any given time. I will also limit it so that you can't directly affect the human body. So you can't increase the odds of going into cardiac arrest, even though it technically doesn't go against free will.

@McFazzer: I'd like a bit more information about the weight storage. Does it store based on time and weight? So if he walks around at 1/4 of his given weight, for an entire day, he would store up 4.5 million kg, assuming he gains 52.5 kg/sec? Is it by minute? Hour? And when he spends the weight, how long does it last? It doesn't need to be perfectly accurate, just so I can have a rough estimate. Also, we have room on the Heroes and Corporate.

I hope to have the IC posted sometime tonight. I have a birthday to attend today, so I can't give an exact time, but by 8pm EST at the absolute latest, I believe.

@StephenRouse:

Hmm... Maybe, let's say, increasing the odds of something happening to about 80% likelihood? Either on the positive or negative end of the spectrum. Does that sound good? I was merely going for the whole, She will put something into action, and left unchallenged it would come to pass. Where some things are so simply it can't be stopped but can be avoided sort of thing lol.

And that makes sense, to keep from it attaining that God Mod potential. How about we say, in regards to things like lightning (ergo something to fast to counter) she wouldn't be able to actually increase the odds of a lightning strike coming down on you directly, but maybe hitting a branch of a tree, knocking it loose and falling in down towards her target? Does that seem more feasibly appropriate? :)

I probably won't be able to post my CS today - got some sort of semester-related social activity in a couple of hours... But don't wait for me, I will have it up tomorrow.

Silent Resonance: Sounds good to me! She won't affect a person, but she can affect the area around a person. I'll make a note of it, and edit your CS into the OP soon.

Empath: Whatever works for you. I've been busy for awhile myself, I totally understand. Just try and get it done later tonight or sometime tomorrow(:

Arlear: Glad to see you're still around! The IC will be up in not [i]too[/] long.

Phobos: Yeah, there's still room for you! Just submit your CS here or via PM, and I'll look over it.

I'm working on the IC now. It'll be up before too long. I'll be editing some notes into the OP before it is posted, so look at those before posting please!

On the subject of public chat, I often find TitanPad to be exceptionally useful, both for coordinating OOC chatter and for collaborations. Combat can be resolved quickly and efficiently, while still allowing for questions and discussion on the side, as well as GM input and rulings, all in real-time. It's free, it's easy, and it works. Documents saved to TitanPad will go for two years before being deleted due to inactivity. Editing even once in that timeframe resets the two-year timer.

In other words: It's perfect.

By the way, I believe I'm in the roleplay at this point. Hi, guys! Looking forward to some plot.

Nosuchthing: Awesome! I have your spot reserved!

BlessedWrath: I'm currently looking into TitanPad. It's something I've heard a lot about around here, and if people want it I will be adding links to it.

With that said, I have added some quick rules and notes to the bottom of the OOC OP. Please read these before posting! IC going up soon!
