Affiliations: he is a hero most of the time, but he is a mercenary to make money. He won't work with criminals when he is doing mercenary work.
Description: John his six foot one in height and he has bright red hair as well as grass green eyes. Because of his biological superpower, he can change his appearance in several ways in case a situation calls for it and because of this his body is very well developed for a sixteen year old. in terms of appearance, John's muscles and body structure are like that of a twenty year old. His costume is red and black in color and has a design similar to that of race car drivers. on the chest area of his costume there are claw marks which are a design for the the costume, and for protection of his identity he alters his face a bit with his power so people wouldn't recognize him.
Powers:
Biology manipulation: john can manipulate the organic material in his body to change his body parts into weapons and monstrous limbs, he can even shift himself into terrifying monster forms. He can only manipulate the organic material of himself and non-human organism. by manipulating the organic material of non human lifeforms, John can mutate them and even bend them to his will but it can require a great amount of energy. He can also absorb the organic material of animals to heal himself and make himself stronger. this power also grants him the ability to create tendrils and spikes made of organic material to grow from his body and be used as attacks.

Superhuman strength: thanks to his control over his biology, John can increase his muscle mass and their strength to make himself incredibly strong. His max strength is 100 tons.

Superhuman durability: John can toughen his skin, muscle and bone mass so that he can take hits from incredible amounts of force and still keep on fighting.

superhuman jump: Thanks to his super strength, John can leap a quarter of a mile into the air and is able to clear tall buildings in a single bound.

Weaknesses: biological weapons can be very harmful to him and things that are toxic or deadly to life can make him weak if exposed to it for too long so hazardous chemicals can severely weaken him.

Skills: he is very well knowledgeable of biology and the natural world, he is also an experienced fighter for his age.

Brief History: John was born to a seemingly normal family and from an early age always had a keen interest in biology, but his ideal dream of a career lay in fighting for a living, his reasoning was for his appreciation for warrior cultures of the ancient and wanting to live up to them. In 2010 he and the rest of the world saw some of the first superpowered beings appear and he was amazed by the sight of such individuals. Almost immediately he wanted to have gifts such as them and he prayed many times to granted them, he didn't want to be normal, he wanted to be special. almost a year later, he got his wish and his power started to manifest themselves in the form of being able to manipulate his and other animals' biology. he was overjoyed at first, but then realized that his powers could be frightening at times and they made him a little more feral.

His time at school became more troubled as his tolerance for the mean students dropped and he began to dish out his own kinds of justice by scaring the students with his powers. He made himself transform into various monsters and mutated several school girl's cute dogs into vicious monsters. Although the school faculty didn't believe the stories that were told, they did believe that he had a hand in terrorizing the students and because of this they suspended him for several weeks. His parents were worried about him, but John thought they were being too paranoid. Eventually he came to the attention of a governmental agencies and John was taken under the wing of the United States government.

The government made it look like John was attending a private school for people with powers like him, but in reality he was trained to be part of the government's division superhuman operatives. His time with the government saw him hone in on making his powers more deadly, but after a while of working with the government, John left and devoted his time to independent hero work, as well as using his powers to make money by being a paid bodyguard or a mercenary. Despite his young age, John's powers have given him a deadly reputation and the title of being called a monster by his enemies, which is why he took the name Bio-Beast as his hero name and set about terrorizing criminals and anyone who deemed themselves his enemies.

his powers appeared at age twelve and he was taken under the wing of the government several months later and he's only recently gone independent. So he's had a few years of training and governmental work.

He actually got lucky because he was using his powers to terrorize people and was losing control of his powers, so the government helped him train to control his abilities properly. I would say that the alternative may have been a lot worse had he not been taken under the wing of the government

Since we're here, we may as well mess around for a bit. What was the inspiration behind
your respective character(s)? I'll start first.
Mine borrowed some of the Winter Soldier's appearance traits, the rest of the influences
were mostly anime: his matter-of-fact attitude inspired a lot by Kakashi Hatake from
the Naruto series while some of his ideals and beliefs (which are yet to be expanded) are
based on Emiya Kiritsugu's from Fate/Zero.

Also, I'll be revealing a lot about Ruby's backstory including why she's working with Aperture now and the origins of her powers!

In terms of inspiration? I was just researching superpowers and I found out about Technopathy! Ruby formed when I found a character-drawing for her but to be honest, most of the stuff about Ruby I've changed as I went! That's why I'm thankful for outlining no particular background! She changes drastically which is why I think she's cool! Plus, I ship Cypress and her because arch-nemesis must be shipped!

Mine was based on an idea I had while thinking up of cool abilities for a game I was playing one time. I always like robot arms and lasers because they'd be really cool in real life. I needed his appearance to be someone young but smart-ish looking so I just found one somewhere and the fingerless glove thing was taken from this thing about the Winter Soldier. He also has a fingerless glove on his robot arm but it's completely redundant because his arm's made of metal.

As for mine, I think I already said, but it was something I made out of City of Heroes, or refined there at least. Shame a Super Strength/regen scrapper wasn't possible, so I went with a similar thing, but it was still fun. I miss that game, hope City of titans makes for a good successor.

A lot of things from the first Arc have been left unresolved. And I agree with Acer; you
got a maniac who blew up crowds of protesters and law enforcement officers. Elijah
should be the least of your worries for now.
