"...I guess."Name: Myriad Chrollo
Age: 18, Eighteen
Appearance: A youth with a gentle disposition, his short light blue hair falls around his face in clean bangs, accentuating his like-wised colored eyes with a pristine brilliance. Although unsure of his heritage, its thought that his birth is shrouded with magic, as no normal human could produce such a odd looking boy; its been proven that he has never dyed his hair. His aloof expression is a descriptive profile of his personality, usually displaying a gentle calm and unnerving amount of cool. He stands at 5'8" and with a athletically slim body from aquatic sports. He is usually very simple with his attire, though he pull just about anything off. At the moment, he is wearing a beige long-sleeve shirt, with black jeans, and black boots.
Personality: Aloof and gentle, it isn't hard for him to make friends. He doesn't talk a lot, finding it more meaningful to say the right words than too many words. Growing up away from other his age, has led to this lack of conversation skills, which in terms have somehow spawned a charismatic leaderesque youth. He is very open-minded, so he finds everyone to be on equal footing, even teachers and mentors. When he does speak, its usually some intellectual phrase that others would find snobbish or confusing. It makes him happy to be around others that can understand him, however, this in turn has made him opinionated to a fault. Though he is tender and kind, he finds himself being very shy and even quieter around females. He often nibbles on the middle of his index finger when upset or troubled.
Magical Powers/ Physical Abilities - Schools: Timespace, Mentalism, Fate, Law
- Myriad's most notable trait and well-kept secret, is his ability to go intangible, a art that was innately present throughout his entire life. He's narrowly dodge death several times thanks to it. Its only known weakness is too him and very hard to discover in the midst of combat; he has a five second interval between activation and deactivation of this ability. Among this magic, he has learned others to keep it more tightly-hidden. Fate more or less, is the primary magic that he claims. He's train extensively in it and is commonly preferred as the lucky charm. Just his presence can change the sway of a large battlefield, and he's avoid several deaths and long-fought battles thanks to it. The bulk of his offensive magic forms from a combination of his Mentalism and Law. He combines the strength of his mind, which can only hint at certain things that he wants, and create elaborate weapons, cages, and other things. His Law school comes into effect when he uses its to make these suggestions and mental creations real. Weapons like regular swords and gun are easy to make but elaborate weapons that can shoot elemental attacks and deal elemental damage is more taxing. He has yet to reach the plateau and at best is considered dangerous due to his "mysterious" inability to be hurt.
- He is fairly experienced in hand-to-hand combat. More experienced with counter-attacks and kicks, he's considered to be a whirlwind of martial arts. His techniques doesn't belong to just one school of combat, so he's aptly categorized as a mixed martial artists.
Flaws: His flaws rest in his shyness and controversial magic. Its existence has been shadowed and cloaked by many and he's been told to kill anyone that finds out. This, however, is something that he finds hard to do. His campaign with the MPC has caused even more turmoil in his heart, leaving many to crowd around him even more. When in combat, he's hesitation could cause him trouble, so he keeps himself from the front-lines if possible. He has a chivalrous heart, and though he'll fight a woman, he is against ganging up against a worthy opponent. If his life isn't in danger, he'd never utilize his intangibility.
Bio: His past was wrought with despair and bloodshed, the very idea of a peaceful life was a myth to a younger Myriad. A very broken and untrue ideal, that if he could remember his former self, he would had spat on and crush underneath his boots. When he was younger, his parents had wished from a female heir to their noble family, a girl that could marry into a even richer family and take hold of its riches in a matriarchal manner. They believed this would, for they had planned this out for years. However, when Myriad was born, their plan was shatter and strewn about, scattered like a myriad of glass. Thus how he got his name.
For several years he grew-up alone, seemingly forgotten by his own parents. The maid and butlers were his caretakers and yet it seemed that they two were displeased with his existence. For six years, they dressed him up like a girl, parading him around town like a porcelain doll. He wasn't exactly sure why but it felt wrong to be dressed in a skirt and pigtails. When he reached the age of ten, his parents would turn his life into a circus.
Forced to be dressed like a girl, a rather "pretty" girl as his mother would say, meetings would be arranged for suitors. Males would walk around, measuring him up and down with scandalous eyes and hearts filled to the brim with lies. He was never told this but his parents were losing their fortune and now, was desperate for a way out. And everyone, including the maids and butlers were playing along with their farce. One night, a suitor had been chosen. A man, whose wealth were renowned and vast. He wanted a "night" with poor Myriad, to test the waters and of course his horrible parents agreed. He was thankful that upon finding out he was male, the man offered punches instead of a pounding. However, he couldn't help fill something crack that night, something indispensable.
When it got out that there daughter was actually a son, his parents' reputation fell even lower and they lost everything. Breaking under the stress, his mother traveled through the house and open fired on everyone. Maids and butlers were killed, his father riddled with metal. When it came time for his own demise, his mother looking at him with such hatred that it carved the image in his heart, Myriad could only wish for the one thing his heart longed for: and that was to be invisible. Before the authorities arrived, she had let loose several bullets but none had met their target.
Upon being rescued and rightfully identified as a male, it was noted that the boy had achieved a state of amnesia. He had forcibly forgotten everything and after investigations were done, it was decided that it was best to not reveal it to him. He was placed up for adoption where he was taken in by an American family. Both of his parents were employed by the Empire State University for Magi and Nonmagi. They were cold at first but gradually started to worry for him and such. When they found out about his intangibility they warned him to let no one know, for that magic was unique and rare. Later on, he found himself being trained by special operatives and eventually enlisted in the MPC. It was there that he hoped to find some semblance for his life.
