For the Sake of Everything: A Crossover RP

The consortium of evil, Dakkar is an alliance of villains, intent on conquering or destroying the universe. Ruled over by a man known only as "L", the organisation's various members are more or less free to pursue their own agendas. Through "L"'s leadership and the access a number of groups' resources (though generally, they still keep more advanced things to themselves), Dakkar has already taken over a large number of worlds. And now, they turn their eye to Earth.

Isla Tranquila, an island resort off the coast of South America that attracts people from around the world. With beautiful beaches, a variety of caves, lush greenery and a large mountain, in fact a dormant volcano, the island has attractions for a variety of people.

Unfortunately, these same attractions that bring in people on holidays have also drawn the attention of some of the invaders. Fortunately, Dakkar is not the only force active in the universe. The Galactic Union Police oppose them when they can, and while they're too caught up fighting on multiple fronts to spare many agents to protect the Earth, they have sent what they can to help them fight back.

So basically, this is...kind of a crossover. Kind of. The idea is that the PCs (or most of them at least) are more or less normal people from a more or less normal Earth holidaying on a tropical island. The forces of evil (made up mostly of an assortment of villains from various works of fiction) attack and a couple of representatives of the forces of justice (again, made up mostly of fictional characters) show up to hand out equipment and/or powers (which would take the form of cards with the original owners' picture on them) to them.

From there, the players will continue defending against the invaders, though there will be downtime for interaction and non-combat shenanigans in between attacks. Depending on how things go, the players may end up taking the fight to the villains, trying to kick them off of other worlds.

Name: Jonathan Rose

Age: 22

Appearance: Boom.

Personality: A bit of a nerd, although not too prone to geeking out. Used to be quite shy, but working on opening up to the world.

Brief Backstory: Fairly standard nerd backstory. Bullied at school, lost himself in the Internet for a while as a result. Recently realised he needs to belt up and actually make something of his life rather than just wasting away in front of a computer. Although he’s also not sure exactly what that means.

World of Origin: Earth

Powers/Equipment: Picked up Kamen Rider Ryugen’s Sengoku Driver, along with the Grape and Kiwi Lockseeds. These Lockseeds grant access to the Budou Arms and Kiwi Arms forms.

Name: Rachel Kay

Age: 24

Appearance: Basically this. Except generally with jeans and an Iron Maiden or Kamen Rider-based t-shirt, rather than a tracksuit.

Personality: Rachel can be somewhat shy around people she doesn't know. Once she feels comfortable around someone, she becomes more cheerful and energetic, if a bit snarky at times. She can be surprisingly hammy, when she feels the situation calls for it. She is a fan of assorted manga and anime, mostly slice of life or action series, as well as assorted tokusatsu series.

Brief Backstory: There isn't really much to say. Rachel has had a boring, ordinary life for the most part. She coasted through school without any real effort, getting decent grades in the process. She spent some time in university, studying to become a teacher, but is currently taking a break to see more of the world.

World of Origin: Earth

Powers/Equipment: Rachel has the OOO Driver, as well as several Core Medals to go with it. More specifically, she has the Hawk and Orca head medals, Tiger and Gorilla arm medals, the Grasshopper and Crocodile leg medals, and the Kangaroo medal, which can be used as either an arm or leg medal. She also gains access to the Medajalibur, a RideVendor, and a large number of cell medals.

Age: 21
Appearance: A bit older black and white version of her. ^^; and an older colored version ... I need some newer pictures of her really. ^^;
Personality: Shy and somewhat reclusive, Anno spends most of her time reading or on the computer. While she is a bit more likely to be somewhat open among friends, her nerves get to her easily and she sometimes suffers from anxiety. She does her best to try and work through this, but it can sometimes be rather difficult to do so. She is a fan of action and slice of life works, as well as comedies. She is also a fan of yuri. She likes cute things a great deal and is very, very much against seeing children hurt for any reason. Anno is a massive fan of the Nasuverse, Touhou, and a lot of other things that would take an unnecessarily large amount of space to list.
Brief Backstory: Anno's life is mostly uninteresting, she's mostly just a normal girl.
World of Origin: Earth
Powers/Equipment: Anno becomes equipped with a certain black-and-white Witch's hat(an exact replica, in fact, of Marisa's hat from Touhou), a broomstick(that even flies!), and an odd, hexagonal reactor for magic. It is not the original Mini-Hakkero, instead it is emblazoned with the kanji for "Mini-Hakkero Imouto" on the side, or "Little Sister mini-Hakkero". Anno can fly through use of her broom, and produce balls of energy that can either be painful but not lethal, or potentially lethal. She can also produce a thin laser, but there's no way that would get any bigger, right?
Other: One of Anno's favorite deserts is cheesecake.

Name: Wakahisa Shiori
Age: 16
Appearance: "I'll use that power to crush anyone in my way."
Personality: Shiori is a very serious, severe individual. She has no tolerance for foolishness or weakness, pushing aside anyone who gets in the way of her efforts. She feels that anything that gets in her way is worthy of nothing less then being destroyed. Shiori also believes that she needs to help in her goal, firmly feeling that she is perfectly capable of obtaining what she seeks herself. Stern and seemingly with an utter disdain for those she feels are weaker then her, Shiori seeks to gain as much power as she possibly can. However, the reason for this is in order to protect her sick younger sister. Shiori's personality seems to do a rapid change when she is with her sister, treating the younger girl very kindly and sweetly. She is extremely protective and dedicated to her little sister, as well. She will direct a vast amount of violence towards anyone who threatens her sister.
Brief Backstory: When both Shiori and her little sister were much younger, they and their parents where in what was seemingly a serious accident. Shiori suffered an injury to her face, leaving a scar over one eye, while her younger sister suffered worse injuries to her lower body, damaging her ability to use her legs. Since this event, Shiori has grown colder and colder to almost everything, everything but her little sister. She began to strive for power. Power beyond anyone else, power enough to protect her younger sister from any possible threat. She vowed never to let her sister be harmed ever again. Shiori concluded that the best way to do this was to seek out any methods of attaining power that she possibly could. Eventually, she managed to obtain the means for this. Or rather, both her and her younger sister(who had recovered her ability to walk) did. Shiori received an strange belt and several locks... She received it from a mysterious figure... Shiori, believing this was the path to more power to protect her sister, joined them. She now serves the Dakkar in order to gain as much power as she possibly can.
World of Origin: An Alternate Earth, slightly further in the future then ours.
Powers/Equipment: Shiori possesses a Sengoku Driver and the Banana, Mango and Watermelon Lockseeds. With this, she gains a powerful suit of knight-and-banana-themed armor(in the case of the Banana Lockseed, at least. Also a rather rare combination really). Mango is similar, except with mango instead of banana, naturally. In this form, she is Armored Rider Baron. Using Banana Arms and Mango Arms, she is much stronger due to the power of the lockseed, allowing her to perform feats of strength and speed she would be unable to without them. Each also gives her a weapon, a sharp, piercing spear for Banana Arms, and a massive mace for Mango arms. They also feature a shorter sword that can be wielded with the Arms weapon. With Banana Arms, she can use a finisher known as Spear Victory that fires off varying bursts of energy. In one form it can be used as a defensive wall against incoming attacks. Mango has a similar function. Watermelon arms, however, is more of a small mecha then a suit of armor. Slow, but powerful, it can produce a massive lance, curl into a ball and roll for both offensive and defensive purposes, or fire bullets from its fingertips.
Other: Shiori's little sister, Chiharu, has her own room in Dakkar's base, furnished by Shiori for her.

I do have a third character but she's going to take a little more work to figure out.

Name: Amakusa Shibito

Age: 16

Appearance:

Amakusa

Personality: A brash hothead. Amakusa is a loudmouth with little to no sense of tact, speaking whatever is on his mind with a strong resolution whether the topic is the injustices of a villain or the fact that he got to the cafeteria late. Upon meeting a person, he immediately files them into a mental checklist: Friend, Rival, Mortal Enemy, Cute Girl. It is possible for a single person to be placed into more than one of these categories, Friend-Rival being the most common.
Quick to meet and warm-up to new people. Also quick to punch people if he thinks it's necessary. Academically, is an absolute idiot, but makes up for that at least somewhat in social intelligence. Quick to a joking sort of anger (the kind where he'll stand up, point at a person, and yell a challenge), but very slow to true anger (where he will fucking slice a bitch).

Brief Backstory: A simple enough life. No tragic backstory, nor desire for revenge, nor hidden psychological trauma. Simply an ordinary human thrust into a less ordinary circumstance. The most trite history possible.

World of Origin: Earth.

Powers/Equipment: Bladebreaker Alliance. Bearing the image of the Bladebreakers logo, this "card" is able to summon and grants the user kinship and command over any Beyblades wielded by the Bladebreakers, Bit Beasts included. The Beyblades of people such as former villains Brooklyn Masefield and King are also included in this team, as Bladebreakers doesn't just refer to the competitive team but to the spirit of Beyblading itself. In other words, it makes the user a "summoner" or "puppet master" of a small army of spinning tops. Due to the nature of the Bladebreakers as a cohesive unit, as well as their "power scaling" relative to characters such as a certain Kirisame witch, this is one of the few powers based around a group rather than an individual.

Name: Mihama Ai
Age: 18
Appearance: "Leave. I want to change and play video games." She is under five feet tall, around 4'7.
Personality: Ai is... something of an oddity. Her reaction to most things in general is very understated, and often incredibly sarcastic. Even when speaking to others, she often simply looks at whatever handheld game she is playing at the time and does not look up even as she responds to them. Ai is bitingly sarcastic and often derisive of others, delivering her comments in a deadpan tone. She hates alcohol of all kinds of is very fond of fruit juice. She is awful about showing up on time for anything, even when it's something important like a high school class or something else. Her deadpan comments are often harsher when directed at girls who are taller then her. However, Ai is not incapable of kindness, and can be very nice to those close to her. It... just takes a lot of prompting. Finally, if she is playing a game and it is taken away from her to try and actually get her to focus on something else, she becomes very, very irritated.
Brief Backstory: Ai was alone most of her life. Her parents were abroad much of her childhood, and so she found herself very attached to video games. While she dutifully responded to all the letters they sent home, she largely ignored all the souvenirs they sent home in favor of playing more video games. It wasn't long until her shelves in her room were filled with objects from other countries and she was totally uninterested in them, playing video games in varying forms. This habit has continued... and continued... and continued, and Ai is now very accomplished at playing video games while walking or doing just about anything.
World of Origin: Earth
Powers/Equipment: Ai gains two items.
-Akaketsu: Akaketsu is a rather skimpy item of clothing, exposing Ai's midriff by coming down above it, with a somewhat short skirt. It is red, with gold eppaulettes and a gold scarf. Also the scarf has eyes. Also the clothing talks. Also it can transform into a skimpier form and give Ai superpowers. For Akaketsu is a kamui, an article of clothing made entirely from life fibers that transforms into an empowering form by drinking the wearer's blood. In her base state, Ai's only ability is a strong affinity for life fibers, but by wearing Akaketsu she gains an increased durability(useful for a girl of her general tininess). By drinking some of Ai's blood, Akaketsu can enter the somewhat embarrassing(thankfully Ai takes it in relative stride) active form, which barely covers her chest("She doesn't have anything to look at there though, so it's okay!" "... Baka..." "Wha?"), and featuring a much less modest skirt. The Kamui's eyes also grow much larger, and the eppaulettes grow much larger as all kamui have huge shoulderpads for some reason. The tradeoff for such a... unique change of dress is that Ai becomes incredibly fast and durable, as well as vastly stronger. Akaketsu will also later gain more forms and abilities, and as a unique kamui is capable of empowering itself via the energy of powerful enemies Ai defeats while wearing it. Akaketsu also possesses a personality, and a female voice. She is very loudmouthed and prone to yelling and general hotbloodedness. She is also very eager to encourage her wearer and keep her safe. However, her encouragement sometimes takes the form of "Your chest is small, so you don't have to worry about it being exposed!", which Ai is not very approving of at all. Still, a kamui is an incredibly valuable weapon in spite of the somewhat awkward aspects of how it functions.
-Needle and Thread: A thin, extremely sharp rapier-like red blade, this weapon is actually formed from hardened life fibers. This allows it to be incredibly durable and incredibly sharp, but it also contains a unique property. The life fibers can soften and harden, allowing the weapon to switch between being a whip with more reach and a sword with more cutting power.
Other: Ai is far too good at driving knees into tender areas when irritated. She is also decent enough at English to hold a conversation fluidly without improper grammar.

Name: Rin

Age: 24

Appearance: Note: does not come with Genesis Driver.

Personality: Hammy, hotblooded, silly and something of a perv, with a notable love of boyish girls and girlish boys. Refuses to act her age most of the time, but when she does it's usually a bad sign. She has a strong sense of justice, and is quick to jump to the defence of anyone she feels has been wronged, but other than that she's kinda lazy. Rin is kind of a nerd, especially towards anime, and especially towards magical girls, super robots and men in spandex fighting rubber monsters with plastic weapons. She also enjoys cooking, reading and random bouts of philosophy. Unfortunately, she also suffers from an inferiority complex and tends to put everyone else before herself, and has a habit of apologising far too much when she believes she has done something wrong.

Brief Backstory: There's... Not much to say, really. An average life without anything that really stands out, honestly. Originally from Britain, she came to Isla Tranquila to get away from the stress of everyday life and somehow ended up settling down there, although she hasn't been able to settle on a steady job yet and seems to be doing something different every other week.

World of Origin: An insignificant blue-green planet.

Powers/Equipment: A Sengoku Driver belt and the Gaim Lockseed, allowing her to transform into Kamen Rider Gaim - Gaim Arms (which will be functionally identical to Orange Arms, really; I just prefer the shoulder pads for Gaim Arms ^^;). In addition, she also has the Double and Fourze Lockseeds, allowing her to transform into Double Arms and Fourze Arms respectively.

Other: Rin is good friends with Anno, and loves teasing her.

Appearance: Here he is.
Personality: Nicholas is hyper-energetic and is easily excitable. He's also pretty friendly towards ''everyone''. However, his excitability can lead to being incredibly obnoxious for his own good and he tends to be over-the-top with his style. He is also known to deflect troubling moments with humor of some sort.
Brief Backstory: Nicholas breezed through school with ease and was just about to begin another year of college. However, before the summer could end and his schooling could begin, he got a phone call asking him to take a survey. He did so, and in the end he was automatically entered in for a draw which he won a free trip to Isla Tranquila. "Okay, spend a day or two there, come back for the new school year. Simple, right?" Yeah. Right.
World of Origin: Earth
Powers/Equipment: Nicholas is in possession of a Sengoku Driver and a Durian Lockseed. This allows him to transform into Kamen Rider Bravo - Durian Arms. This equips him with two spiked broadswords called Duri Noko. However, he doesn't have any other Lockseeds, and thus, isn't as well equiped as other Sengoku Driver users.

Age: 22
Appearance: A blonde man with greenish, tired eyes and a red sweatshirt, John usually wears jeans.
Personality: Had someone said "Hey, you wanna be a farmwizard" he would have jumped at the call. Granted, he'd probably use his powers for laziness rather than justice or ambition. He's a man of moderate intelligence and has a patchwork knowledge of many subjects, mostly involving biology, computers, and physics, although nothing too specialized. He's torn between how awesome being a wizard is and how hard it is to get better at farming.

Brief Backstory: An American with a love of all things superhero, he's visiting the island to take a break from college. His family's a little rough right now, but hopefully a vacation's just what he needs. Besides, volcanoes, dormant or otherwise, are awesome.
World of Origin: Earth

Powers/Equipment: Earthmate Magic. This includes the Rune Factory skill system, item crafting, and the ability to tame monsters. Performing certain task increase skills, allowing him to make better equipment, tame stronger monsters, and stop being bad at cooking. Thankfully, this comes with a monster to help with the farming.

Personality: August is sometimes capable of being rational and analytic but oftentimes gets too high-strung or caught up in what he's currently doing to think everything through all the way. He wants to work towards happiness for as many people as possible but has no idea where to start, though lately he's been stuck with the feeling that there has to be something more that he can do with his life provided he gets a chance to leave his old life behind. To that end he really wants to make friends, but a history of moving around constantly makes him feel less than equipped for the task

Brief Backstory: August spent a lot of his childhood traveling around from place to place since his parents wanted to make sure he was a world citizen and experienced as much as he could out of life, potentially as a flawed way to overcompensate for the fact that he had to live with a disability from birth. Regardless, he was constantly shifted around between different countries and cities but took advantage of traveling in order to pick up a variety of unfortunately non-social skills, especially indulging in a love of martial arts from a young age. He's at the island as part of another 'horizon broadening exercise'.
