Not essentially. (exhibit A, harpies/sirens) I thought that winged humanoids would be alright, however, after seeing the creativity with Leaf. Sentient squirrel adventurer? Yes please. I also really like Elric so far!

Yeah, but harpies are completely different. For starters, they don't typically have arms, even if they aren't giant squirrels.

The fact that you're siting hands and efficiency shows you have no appreciation for a cute harpy! The lack of hands is part of the appeal!

She isn't even full harpy, only a quarter-harpy, but I do love winged harpies! She's horribly inbred.

Besides, a slave with no hands isn't useful for -anything-, hands are required to work properly!
