Slaves aren't allowed to be more than bootlickers. Or read. Or have wings. These things contribute to slave uprisings.

I'm Southern, so I'm an expert on this topic.

Gotta say, entering this RP I did not imagine my character getting a hair cut. A head cut, sure, but a hair cut? This is new ground to me.

Unless the slave starts off with precautions to stop her from flying -and- trained to be so obedient that she won't even fight back if you tried to turn her into fried chicken. (Besides, 12 is illiterate and smart enough to know that she's got nowhere to run to when her home is thousands of miles away -and- dead.)

Admittedly, I do see the flaws with a winged slave; it's why her wings are badly damaged and why the thick iron chains weigh her down enough to prevent her from escaping in the first place. However, my acceptance isn't up to me, it's up to the GM and (possible) Co-GM. I'm hoping that I do get accepted because I've already started work on the collab. ^^"

An alchemist won't know what you are at a glance. All my Gnome sees is a winged creature which they have gone to some length to secure (take it as a compliment)
