Oh are you guys making a pirate crew? if so and if you wouldn't mind. I could reconfigure my ship to fall under the command of whoever is the pirate captain for you guys. It'd make character progression a little easier from my angle. If you don't want to do that though, that's completely fine, this is just a suggestion :)

Personality: despite being a pirate he does have honor when it comes to women and children and doesn't hurt anyone as long as nobody tries to attack. He is always a smart ass to most people and its rare when he acts serious. Lorenzo doesn't bother with rules as long as he has his crew and he gets all the gold he could want.
Bio: while Lorenzo was born in a fishing town called "white creek" he and his father were fishermen going out to sea was always in Lorenzo's blood as he relaxed and caught fish everyday with his father which at the time Lorenzo was happy with. However when Lorenzo got older he started to get board doing the same routine everyday and opted for pickpocketing tourists and people coming to buy fish, if Lorenzo didn't like the price the people paid for his fish he would pickpocket the rest and Lorenzo felt a rush of excitement each time he tried. Eventually some marines came by his town and like usual he tried to get more but unlike normal tourists the captain commanding the ship was outraged by Lorenzo's attempt to steal from the government and got slapped across the face and when his father tried to smooth out the situation he got arrested because of Lorenzo's actions his father got killed when the captain tried to shot Lorenzo for being so disrespectful to the government official and they just walked away laughing. Lorenzo believed then and their the government was corrupt and he wasn't going to follow the rules anymore so he became a pirate. Lorenzo practiced everyday since then to fire guns of any kind and shoot them with precision always practicing and making sure to use only the bullet they pulled out of his father on the man that killed him, he would make sure the captain got his....

Deuce has the ability to transfer explosions into objects which upon another contact causes the object to explode (I.e transferring through fists then exploding upon punching something). Although Deuce is immune to the explosions themselves he isn’t necessarily immune to what he’s exploding (Say he blows up a glass cup, the explosion won’t hurt him but he can still be cut by the shards).
Techniques:
C1 – C1 is pretty much what’s described as above, he can transfer explosions into objects which upon another contact explodes. He uses this with punches, kicks, and even his own blade. It’s an ability that should make people want to keep their distance as he can transfer it onto clothes and other objects his targets hold.
C2 – Deuce taps a finger on the ground transferring explosions into the ground around him. The explosions spread out into rings around him underground (Unknowingly to the opponent) up to ten feet. He can either make the rings explode right away or wait until someone steps in that area to set them off. Using this ability twice causes a drain of stamina.
Flash bang – Deuce flicks his thump on his index finger as if flipping a coin sending a microscopic explosion into the air. Although it doesn’t do any damage it acts like a flash bang would causing vision to be impossible for five or six seconds, temporary loss of hearing, and a loss of balance. It affects everyone in the immediate area.
Haki:
Deuce is well versed in Haki, having Kenbunshoku and Busoshoku, mostly Busoshoku. He’s learned to implement it with his devil fruit ability to cause his attacks to do more damage to his opponent, although he can harden his whole body he (For the most part) only uses it on his fist and arms.
Physical:
Deuce is a rather fast and agile individual which shocks people when they figure out he’s more strength based providing the muscle for his crew. Once peeled the fruit has a purple color too it with yellow dots over it
Ability: Has the ability over lighting itself, and so is able to move quicker and is able to take the form of lighting as well. Yu is also well versed in Kenbunshoku Haki, although he can predict some moves, he more so uses it to guage an opponent strength.
Personality: Yu tries to keep his calm interior and exterior at all times, to show that he is capable of leading pirates around, or at all for that matter. He does have the tendency to get a bit cocky when he feels he is winning however, and thus lets his guard down at times. While some of the things Yu says might be true, he has told his bit of lies to get out of horrible situations. He isn't afraid of a little number disadvantage, hell sometimes he even likes it when the odds are stacked against him, of course that is when he lets his second in command think of some plans so they don't get totally massacred. As you might tell Yu does enjoy his share of fights quite a bit, going as far as to pick fights with those that others most likely would avoid at all cost. When Yu sees talent he without a doubt pounces on it, as he is always willing tho make his crew stronger, he also doesn't allow anyone to harm his crew, even if they probably deserve it. So he has a motto, that if you fuck with one of us, you fuck with everyone.
Bio: Yu grew up loving the stories of the pirates, utterly thrilled with the tales of their adventures and the treasure they would find. For years and years he was told these stories by pirates that docked in his hometown every once in a while. As his hometown wasn't the biggest nor the most fun in the world, he looked forward to hearing these tales. At a young age he was already dead set on becoming a pirate, and he would tell this to every pirate that stopped by, and while they simply laughed at his upbeat little personality at the time, he already picture himself as a Pirate. The visits grew more distant and long when he was older, and when any did arrive they weren't there for very long at all. One pirate that came by never even returned to his ship seemingly leaving his past behind, to run away from the Marines. Yu however saw this as an opportunity, he climbed on board of the ship at night. This being his first time on a ship he couldn't help but be amazed a bit, as he checked every inch of the ship. Even finding the storage area which had all types of shiny objects, which shocked Yu, wondering why anyone would even leave this behind. Among this he saw a strange looking fruit which he couldn't help but be curious about as he never seen this one before. So once he peeled it he took a big bit of it. He at first noted the horrible taste, but it wasn't so bad he couldn't choke it down. When he finished it he felt a tad bit weird, and as son as he knew it he was shaking much quicker than a person should shake, and looking down he saw that his legs had taken the form of lighting, shocked at first then a tad scared wondering what was wrong with him and if he could stop this. However once he calmed himself down his legs went back to normal which again confused him. Upon further inspection of the ship he found a book with all sorts of weird fruit even the one he ate, it was apparently a devil fruit, which now made sense to him. Yet he couldn't help but question his own stupidity at this.
Yu then went home and waited another few days, but the ship stayed where it was. He couldn't just let it float there forever, that and Yu was pretty much an adult being eighteen years old. so at night he went on the ship when everyone was sleeping, and slowly made his way forward on the ocean, when he was a bit out in the open water, he figured now would be the best time to learn how to actually drive a ship. Luckily for him going straight led to an open spot of water. He spent nearly three hours figuring out how to turn and all that, and how to even use the sails. Once he was sure he could drive without killing the ship, he sailed and sailed, and sailed even more. he did a lot of it, before he came to another island, where he docked ever so carefully as to not break the dock, or his new ship. This island was without a doubt more.... adventurous, and filled with people punching each other everywhere. So just in case he gave some people on the dock a little of the treasure in the storage to make sure his ship still stayed where it was. After some looking around the place, he saw one individual taking on multiple people, and was winning. After the man beat all the others, Yu himself couldn't help but want to fight as well. And without knowing, he had already suplexed the man from behind. The fight lasted a few minutes with both guys beaten up, yet Yu was at least sitting. The man however got up soon after, which Yu couldn't help but be impressed by. He asked the man to join his crew, and after getting kicked in the balls, the man known as Duece agreed to this. In which, Yu sold some of the treasure on his ship, and got some people from the island, the more trust worthy ones, and not the ones who looked like they would run with everything. Once he had his own crew, And a better driver now, Yu once again set off on what would be many adventures.
