[IC] Red vs. Blue: Reflection

[Silver Fox]

Leo tsked as the Green Leader dodged out of the way of her kick to skid on the ground before firing his SMG. Clicking her tongue, she rolled left out of the way of bullet fire. Her shields would of protected her, but this guy seemed to know something up and didn't want to use anything that would completely note her on the different list.

"Didn't your mother ever tell you to wash out your mouth? Can't understand a word your blubbering about." The tall blue said in return, pretending he was talking nonsense. "You're not exactly the regular boy toy." she countered as she kicked the ground and charged, her sword heading for the stomach in a powerful thrust.

[Multifarious]

The Green commander laughed as he sidestepped the thrust. "I don't think you understand. No Red or Blue loser can fight. I'm not asking if you're not actually a Blue, I'm asking what you are." He grabbed the tall girl's arm that wasn't hilding the katana, bent it around behind her back, grabed her and flipped her backwards, slamming her into the ground. "Because I already know." And the Green did know. He knew he could rule out Spartan, but what else could this person be. Mercenary? Freelancer? ODST with an armor upgrade? There wasn't much else with a fighting skill of this level and a set of armor to go with it. "You're a better fighter than your teammates on the ground down there. It's obvious."

[Jollan]

Drake picked up a clip for Maggy and the rifle from the body. He did an amazingly fast weapon check on it, including field stripping it and throwing it back together. "WOW, an M395 Designated Marksman Rifle! I've always wanted one! Oh I'm keeping you, your name is....Mark! Okay lets do this!" He said, happily jogging beside Raph. "Thanks for the help Ral- i mean Raph! I thought I would be a goner! Who knows what they woul-" he cut himself off as they exited the cave to an all out warzone. There was a trigger happy tank, a wrecked hornet, a banshee, and all sorts of chaos on the battlefield. "Uhhh... Ralph....what happened?"

Leo grunted as her arm was twisted, but she threw him off with ease with a thrust of her arm before punching him across the helmet as she turned and swung her arm. She wasn't one to be out strengthed after all, melee was her specialty.

"Guess the guys in suits didn't know what they were missing out on." The tall blue sneered as she kicked a large rock and launched it toward the green, leaving a large dent in the large piece of rock.

"Hey boys!" Arch cheered from the Warthog, frantically waving to the two blues by the cave, driving up next to them. "Need a lift?" he grinned.

[Jollan]

"DIBS ON TURRET!" Drake yelled before the warthog even stopped.

[AeronFarron]

Another green went flying and hit the side of the Warthog Arch was in. Hawke cracked her knuckles and made her way over to the Warthog, mindful of the unconscious Greens she had to step over now and then. "Can you lot please get out of here? Go...I don't know....fire into a crowd of Greens somewhere?"

She switched communications to match Leo's wavelength, "Need some help?" the unfiltered voice may or may not have been a familiar one.

[Multifarious]

"Arch. Never thought you'd come to save the day." Raph said as he hopped in the passenger seat. "Let's roll."

The leader grunted as he was shoved off of Leo. "Even if you are nothing special, there would be no reason for you to be a simulation trooper, of all things." He pulled the pin off a grenade and beamed it at Leo with incredible speed, then he shot the grenade when it got close to her with his SMG, knowing the grenade would give her more than enough time to react if he just left it alone. It exploded right next to here left arm.

"You'd be surprised. What's weirder is that your bothering with a simulation troop area." Leo smirked before hissing as a grenade went off on her arm before she could react. Her armor flashed, the shield breaking but only briefly before the shield quickly recovered. It hurt a little, but she had a high pain tolerance. Wasn't like she never got hit by a grenade before. Still, she launched foreword and once again punched the green against the chest.

The Banshee swerved a little towards the rocks, shooting several bullets at the green. The tall blue tsked and leapt out of the blasting gunfire, listening to the radio as she pondered on her next move. She could ask for assistance, but that would put them too close together and she still had no idea of these guys capabilities. So as much as she didn't like it and would preferably take this guy down here and now, they wouldn't have much use of their base since it's just simulation other than some defense.

On the other hand, if they killed this guy here and now, the whole army would crumble.

"Yes, this guy is tougher then he looks. So I'll need Hawke's assistance, the rest of you, get to safer ground." she answered. Hawke at least seemed capable and one needed to be a adept fighter to handle this guy. Her voice sounded familiar but for now she couldn't place her mind on it. With a growl, her armor glowed a red to increase its strength, willing her to lifts large boulders and chuck it at the green with ease.

Arch grinned and nodded. "Yeah well, you all owe me dinner for coming out to this dirty battlefield." he said before quickly revving the engine and driving away from the cave, avoiding gunfire as he headed to the more safer part of the valley.

[Multifarious]

"Don't make me get out if the car, Arch..." Raph replied to Arch's statement. He then shot a Green in the head as he seemed to whizz past the passenger seat. Raph couldn't fight, but he could shoot like nobody's business. Especially with full-auto weapons. He nailed another several times in the chest from several dozen yards before the counter on the AR hit zero. He felt around for another mag, only to find none. "Oh, great... I left them when I was cleaning the magazines back at base."

The hornet that dropped the Green combatant off saw the oncoming banshee, and the pilot elevated quickly and fired down on the banshee with its machine guns. It began its attempt to lock-on to the Covenant craft.

Meanwhile, the Green took the blow and somersaulted backwards to his feet. When he looked up to see Leo had begun hurling massive boulders at him, he grinned. He chucked another grenade at a boulder and shot it like he did with Leo, destroying one. He then dove sideways, skillfully rolled to a kneeling position, and fired his SMG at Leo while she was picking up another boulder. "What kind of soldiers do you think make up most of Green Army?" He asked, chuckling under his helmet.

[AeronFarron]

Hawke hurried over to the fight and grunted as she barreled through a small crowd of Greens. She jumped off of the back of one green and extended her arm. "Xi!"

"Activating protocal 23 dash FX."

From beneath her arm, a cable shot out and attached itself to a hovering hornet. She swung herself with the help of her jump jet thrusters and flew towards the area where the Green fighting Leo. The cable detached and retracted back into her wrist. She landed in a roll, then rolled into a spring double kick towards the Green's back.

When the Green Leader took the blow to the back, he lurched forward and rolled back up to his feet. Turning to see his new attacker, he shook his head in disappointment. "When you can face me like a real dighter, you may have the privelege of facing me in combat again." He held his arm up and grabbed a handle on the wingman's seat of a Green hornet. It flew off in the same direction the armada came from.

[Silver Fox]

The Banshee quickly turned and shot down the hornet, barrel rolling away from the bullets before skillfully looping back around, shooting a bit at the retreating hornet before moving to the two soldiers.

Leo clicked her tongue, as the Green Leader retreated, simply giving a uncaring middle finger back towards him. She considered herself more of a retired fighter, having enough bullshit. So if he wanted to to retreat, fine... Buts she slaughtering every green man in the area until he's the last one left. Didn't matter if she played dirty or not. It wasn't like she was the leader anyhow, she simply was a bit smarter than most of the idiots here.

Looking toward Hawke, she gave a nod. "Thanks. That guys annoying. Guess he's not so confident against two people. Cocky bastard. Everyone's back so we should regroup back at the red base." she said before gripping onto the Banshee.

[Multifarious]

When the leader got back to his base, he quickly pulled up helmet cams of the ongoing battle. "Make note of this. Scratch out ODST for a possible source of skill." He then watched a playback of one camera that saw Hawke using her armor ability to enter the battle. "And scratch out Spartan for sure. That leaves Freelancer and upper-tier merc." He was determined to find out all he could about these guys that he could. The more he knew, the stronger they'd be next time.

Raph asked around. "Any spare Assault Rifle ammo?" He asked as he pulled out his magnum and hit a Sage soldier in the leg after three tries as he was running directly at Tug's tank, which has received more than its fair share of bullet holes.

[Heroic]

The green soldiers were beginning to retreat back, some of them with parts that wete salvaged from the wreckage. "Nevermind then! Looks like we're done here!" Raph happily cheered. "Let's go home!"

Tug was still firing mortars at the retreating army. "Are we done with the game? Oh, come on guys! If you're bored, we can make up a new one!" He shouted after opening the tank hatch.

[AeronFarron]

"No problem. But I have a feeling that we will be seeing them again...as annoying as the thought is." she grunted and rubbed the side of her helmet. "Think we should get out of here."

[Jollan]

Drake was still shooting at some running greens as he noticed something. "You know what? If we had even a fraction of the ammount of ammo we have for this turret in rifle ammo, I think we would never have to worry about ammunition again."

[Silver Fox]

Leo gave a sigh and nodded before grabbing the red and pulling her up the Banshee's side. The Covenant ship flew up in the sky, heading toward the red base with the others before landing. Stepping out, she saw Arch, drive up with the Warthog and wave cheerfully.

"Well... Guess that went better then expected." the tall blue said with a grumble, hopping off the Covenant ship and crossing her arms.

[Heroic]

Tug sped toward the base and then rammed the tank into the side, yelling at the boosters to stop as he did. "Oops... Sorry again!" He yelled.
Raph thought for a moment. "Drake, you are a genius. We could use all the ammo from that turret gun." He replied, and hopped out of the behicle when it pulled in.

[Jollan]

"Thanks! Uh... I think... unless that was that sarcasm thing you told me about before... then no thanks." He thought for a moment as he stepped down from the warthog turret. "Hey, maybe I could mod the rifles to use that ammo, but they would kick like a mule! ... Would I have permission to use my tools again!?"

[Heroic]

"Eh... It was a group decision, but... I'm okay with it as long as you swear to not repeat what happened last time." Raph said skeptically. That was not a pleasant situation whatsoever...
