Can we plan and request what our teams will be?

What do you mean by that? Who we work with when we go out and do stuff?

Like, our Pokemon teams. Can we pre-plan them or do we just catch and deal with what we catch? Since Trainers in Orre are said to use Pokemon from the Pokemon Nation (which as canon so far are: Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh and Hoenn) can we run across those Pokemon as well?

I think we can run into any pokemon from any region that is within reason. Like we can't catch a Salamance or a legendary though we can catch something around our level.

Well, that's the nutty thing no? As far as we know, there is no way to travel between Unova, Kalos, and the Pokemon Nation. How do you decide which ones appear? If we plan out our teams, we can at least have some filler trainers we can do other stuff with. Like, snag a Rhydon and find him a good home? Or snag Pokemon back for trainers whom ask/pay?

You don't have to plan either. You can go with what the RP gives you. But at least if you do plan it, we won't have people fighting over whom gets first dibs on a shadow Pokemon they want.

Hmmmm, well I'm really not the mod so I don't know what to say. xD You may want to take it up with Chev.

Personally, I hope that Chev just simply picks Shadow Pokemon at random to appear and we can decide among ourselves who gets to snag that Pokemon. I kind of like having a random element for our teams. In fact, that was one of the things I like about the Orre games: they gave you a limit choice of Pokemon to work with.

We all went out, trained our pokemon. They are uhh all level 100's now and I think we won the game.

Well we're talking about whether we should plan our teams or if we should catch shadow pokemon in the rp without any planning and see what we get. *points to the conversation previously*

Well, there are going to be lots of Shadow Pokemon since Cipher has had years to create them. Something I should let you all know is that both the Relic stone and the purification chamber have both been destroyed. But don't worry, I have what I think is a neat plot idea that will allow Shadow Pokemon to be purified and yes, it involves Celebi. xD

There will be random encounters with random Shadow Pokemon. But yes, teams will be pre-planned mostly. You can edit the teams though as events happen.
