Trenderhoof pondered the question for a minute.

“Possibly, although we did not develop Equestrian Standard as we call it till the closing years of the Age of Tyranny and the first few years of the Age of Knowledge. We also most likely speak different dialects. It was developed to close the language gaps that had created conflicts between the Equestrian Species, and a about 20 years after the beginning of the Age of Knowledge all nations on Equiis had adopted it. Although at the time we had not reached out to space. Discovering how our linguistics developed so similiar will have to wait. You said you had somewhere you wish to take us?”

Pruchanka, the Tygochan Homeworld, Equestria
Pruchanka vast’s desert landscapes rolled with dunes, cacti and oases dotted the landscape. The few creatures that were seen were either big or vicious, hinting at the aggressiveness of Pruchanka’s wildlife. Piles of waste material could be seen everywhere, with Equestrian nanobot swarms breaking them down and cleaning them up. While the Tygochan had been under the Equestrians for years and such trivial environmental hazards were no match for Equestrian Terraforming technology, criminals and nationalists continued to dump them, forcing them to keep on a constant eye for the waste.

The Capital of Pruchanka was surrounded by a huge wall and the occasional flash of a shield could be seen. This was not because the Equestrians were attempted to keep the Tygochan contained, but due to the aggressiveness of the species on Pruchanka, Equestria was forced to maintain it. It had been updated with guard posts and the shield after the Equestrians removed the last vestiges of the Tygochan’s former government.

Inside the city the streets were busy, mostly with tygochan, although a few Equestrian police forces and businessmen also were there. The square was the busiest, with various shops have people flowing between them constantly, purchasing goods from one store then heading to another to acquire more. However the center of the square a few Tygochan had gathered, both nationalists and loyalists. They were already shouting each other down, police began rushing to the area in a vain attempts to stop a coming fight.

Then someone threw the first punch.

Things moved too quickly to tell who had, whether it was a nationalist or loyalist. Blood spattered the ground as the strong tygochan fought. A few grabbed weapons from nearby and stole gun offs the police officers, who had been killed in the bloodbath. As more and more tygochan died, the fight calmed down. The military finally arrived, too late to stop the fighting. Once again martial law was imposed on the city as the military went about cleaning up the mess.

Legion Contact

A small Terran vessel approached the Legion ship, it was not a military craft, but a civilian vessel. The ship was owned by Starchaser Industries, which had been operating since 1992. As such, it was a major player in the development of space, and had dedicated numerous vessels to the Battle of Jupiter. It commanded one of the larger private starfleets, with ten militarized interstellar vessels of their own design. Not much in the grand scheme of things, but it was completely ridiculous for a corporation in Terran space. Not only were corporate armies usually banned, but the choking regulations on nearly any kind of private company made it nearly impossible to put a spacecraft up.

It powered up its bow plasma lance as if it had a chance against the massive vessel. With the difference in strength, the preparations were nothing more than a diplomatic statement to let Legion know that humanity is borderline insane. A message was sent to the ominous vessel that had just appeared in the system, nobody knowing whether or not the answer would come in the form of words or weapons fire.

"This is the Terran volunteer warship Nelson, currently under the command of the Colonial Defense Force. You left a hell of a signature with that quantum teleportation drive of yours, God himself saw that one. As per Naval regulations, I have to demand to know your allegiance, the reason for your trespass, and your diplomatic status with the Eternal Empire."

Oh yeah, going somewhere was a thing.

"Yes, a restaurant on the promenade. I figure that direct exposure to our culture is better than me explaining all of our history in some fancy room. Instead, I'll be explaining all of our history in a fancy room with other people in it. Huh. When I put it that way it sounds pretty dumb. Oh yes, on last thing, just how religious are you?"

As Trenderhoof followed the diplomat he took a minute to explain the dominant religion of the Union of Equestria.

“Our people have always been a very devout one, although as is apart of our beliefs we respect all other religions, we believe that it is not the gods one worships or the spirits that shall carry them into the afterlife, but the good things they have done in life. But beyond that we believe in the Goddess Faust, also known as the Goddess of Harmony. The Church of Faust is the official name of the religion and the church. The core beliefs of our religion are those of peace, liberty, equality, and harmony;harmony being defined as a state of total and utter peace where no problems exist. We constantly strive as a nation and peoples to work towards the ideals, and we have successfully achieved much of it. Poverty has been eradicated, crime is so low as to be irrelevant, and most of our nation lives relatively happy lives. We also believe it should be the goals of all followers of Faust to help not just their own, but all nations of the universe. Since most of what we have done was accomplished through magic, we grant to species willing to prove they are capable of using it and are trustworthy. We have only granted it to one, but as soon as preparations for the spell are finished we shall grant it to are Saratine.” said Trenderhoof. Pock turned towards the human diplomat and also spoke to him.

“Much of what the Equestrians say is true, and they have done their best to work towards the ideals they have mentioned. When we made first contact with the Equestrians bad harvests on our agricultural worlds left many of our outer colony worlds in famine. It was only by their assistance that the people their survived, and as well as aid from Equestrian doctors keeping the population healthy. We have the Equestrians to thank for much of this stability and prosperity we have now.” finished Pock.

It was that Trenderhoof began to speak again, but was interrupted by a member of the Equestrian’s diplomatic party. This particular member was bipedal, a member of one of the two bipedal races

The alien stepped towards the human diplomat and spoke.

“I am a seraphram, before we met the Equestrians we had been enslaved. Our slavers, the Tygochan, destroyed our formerly beautiful worlds. They became polluted hell holes, and we were worked to death. They destroyed much of our artwork, our culture. But when the Equestrians came… they could not stand for the travesties the Tygochan had committed. They went to war to liberate our peoples. As they reclaimed our worlds, they used their magic to make them whole again, restoring them to their former beauty. They gave us magic, and we gladly joined them. We rose greater than we ever could with the help of the Equestrians.” said the Seraphram, stepping back into the party.

“Anything else you would like to ask?” questioned Trenderhoof, speaking to the terran diplomat.

"No, that'll be all. I'll have to request that you ask one of us if you want to take a look at anything, especially if it has anything to do with religion or science. And don't even pick up the physics books. As for our religions, we have many, the most common are Hinduism, Buddhism, and Shinto. The situation is a bit odd, since 32% of our people once followed a religion called Christianity, and another 23% followed one called Islam. 82% of the world followed some religion, the rest were agnostic or atheist. Then the Third World War occurred, and Islam was all but wiped out in the most horrific genocide the world had ever seen. Christianity dropped as well, as the perpetrator of the genocide was insane enough to consider it a holy war. Religion in general fell off, very few people could have any faith after what had happened. Zoroastrianism, however, started to come back after countless thousands of years of being a nearly dead religion. It has a strong belief in duality, which could easily explain the atrocities as a victory of evil. Its belief in a singe God was also vital in its resurgence, as Christianity and Islam were both monotheistic. Shinto started to become popular as well, due to its lack of any good power that would have been expected to prevent the war, as well as the fact that it was introduced further into heavily populated areas in the aftermath of the war."

He stopped speaking abruptly, as if hesitant to continue for some reason. He muttered something to the tune of "As long as I don't give away specifics", and continued once more.

"Then, halfway through the development of the nearest gas giant, we made a major breakthrough. We suddenly knew more than we were ever meant to. That's when Buddhism and Hinduism became more popular than they already were. Their beliefs meshed perfectly with what we discovered. Zoroastrianism, however, underwent a massive decline. Because of mo-"

He paused once again, thinking back on what the Equestrians had said. He awkwardly and jarringly changed the next word."

"-re reasons."

Rigel Star System, Sazkar Major

Reports have been ordained to rectify previous issues with Sazkarjhia and all major forces have been withdrawn for regrouping. This has led Sazkarjhia to return to an old, isolationist period not seen before. Colonies are still held onto with a hard grip but for the most part the empire is standing by for intervention. Following galactic stagnation most assault fleets have returned to Naval Refit Stations in Sazkarjhit space, and the only groups left are outersystem scout fleets for monitoring activity in case of the need to jump back into affairs.

Vessel of Mazdabar Tumari Pumar'kum has recalled forces for debrief, and the Vesselage has agreed on reorganizing the empire before pursuing future endeavors, however, it has left its doors open for diplomacy, and the scout fleets hope to broadcast this message yet.
