I'm going to outline this first chapter tonight and work on it over this upcoming weekend. It will be taking a back seat to these two essays I should be working on, but I intend to make a slot for it in my schedule.

I also need to research naval battles because I intended for them to be important... then remembered that I know nothing about them. This will be a learning experience.

Special Trait: Highly skilled and naturally talented with all manner of large two-handed weapons (greatswords, mauls, heavy spears, etc.), just plain awful at riding horses, and has a gift for feeling out where fae artifacts are hidden.
Optional Background Info: Was the lord of a castle called Harrowton, was exiled for rebelling against a tyrant king, joined Le Pauvroi and captured a castle and town on Alspmar to be his new lordly seat, which he renamed New Harrowton.
Names of Towns: New Harrowton, Corran's Mill, Highfield, Redgrove. I like names for fantasy towns that could have an obvious story behind them, since it gives a bit of ready history for the town.

Spamfics are entertaining to read because it's the easiest, laziest form of participation one can think of. Someone just uses your name and you immediately feel more attached to the story. Great!

Efrain's ancestors had the power of dragons, calling them forth in summoning spells, breathing fire, growing wings, tails, claws and scales, etcetera, because his ancestor, fifty generations ago, became a blood brother to a very powerful dragon, Stelerex The Gold. As a result, Efrain is incredibly strong, durable, healthy, agile and resistant to extremes of temperature. He could swim in a lake with sub zero temperatures and not even feel chilly, or sun bathe in the Hell that is the Arizonan deserts all days, for days on end, without even getting a hint of a sun burn. Also, although he still needs to eat, in reality, starving him or thirsting him to death is definitely a fruitless endeavor, since he can simply eat the dirt on the ground, literally, and survive.
Poison ivy and mild poisons have no chance to harm him, so he can even eat such leaves and plants without worrying about if he was desperate for food, he could even sustain himself with lethal poisons long enough to finally get his hands on real food without worrying, unless he ingests something that can kill an Elephant. In that case, he would definitely be sick, but not nowhere near dead.
