I think if it's a elemental force like the water dragon it would be subject to the Guardians' magic nullification, but if it's a reanimated body or a stone golem it wouldn't be. Just my opinion of course.

You named your Water Serpent Construct Sir Isaac Newton? Fine. I will name my sword "Apple".And that is a question I've been mulling over. If a mage summons a wall of stone, cam I just phase through it because it's magic? It's all very peculiar.I think you're right there, it makes sense at least.

That is why I am asking the question too. Lets take the example of the water dragon. In itself, it is, as you said, an physical element being control by magic. So that is fine, nothing really happens. But lets say that the dragon claws a Guardian. The physics of the Guardian being hit still takes place, but the construct came into contact WITH the guardian which is immune to magic... So would part of the claws fall to the ground like normal water as the magic can't be sustained?I know it sounds really idiotic, but I have to ask xD

No no, I mean you're still at the mercy of physics.
I would venture to say no. The example brand gave was that a Guardian would take a fireball to the face no problem, but a forest fire started by that fireball would still kill them.

Well, look at it this way- mages can't be told at a glance from normal people. Guardians are probably the same. So, Mr feral mage sees what he takes to be a nobody, chucks a fireball at you, and suddenly bad for him.

This is true! See my PM you bum. I'm stealing one of your SSB characters. ^_^And that's a hard call, Rayne. Is the sword the zombie holds still magically inclined? If not...physics? Ouchie stabby stabby?

Actually, it depends. Soldiers are taught to fight in a unit. Which means their martial training is heavily focused on not killing the guy beside you as well. If Guardians fight in smaller groups or alone, then they'd be better at one-on-one fights. This argument is pointless. Spies with bows, poison and daggers make armour useless. :D

That is actually false - or, not the bit about soldiers being trained to fight in a unit, but the whole bows, poisons, and daggers making armor useless.Sure, poison, bows, and daggers can get through little chinks and joints of the armor, but without armor, said weapons don't need to bother finding the weak points. So armor makes the job of poisons, bows, and daggers just a bit more difficult. Of course, armor is also typically cumbersome and heavy, unless properly fitted. Which is why Emil uses protection magic

you should lead, Emil is a fairly passive character, so it'd probably be better for him to build off of something. Plus, I'm at work right now, and manager types don't like it when their employees are on the phone for too long.

Typing posts on a phone is dirty, anyway.Yeah, I'll start something with an arbitary quest or something. How long has Emil been with Edessa?
