"Thank you." Liz called. She closed her eyes as she took a sip of the mocha. She was more tired than she had thought. She wondered if Willis Woukd stop by today.

Lucifer took a seat across from Liz and propped his head on his hands, seeing as the café was fairly calm at the moment. "It's so strange! I can actually see fairly well now! I still need my glasses for reading sometimes, but everything looks a lot sharper. I really have to thank you for that, Miss!" Giving an innocent look, he tilted his head to the side. "Miss, will your boyfriend be joining you later?"

Where did you get that idea?" she whipped her eyes. "Don't let Willis hear yo say that. He would be insulted if he knew people thought we were a couple."

"Ah, are you alright?" Seeing her start coughing so suddenly caused him to lean over the table a bit in worry. As she started laughing, he sat back again and let a confused look paint his expression. "Oh, you're not? I'm sorry, I just thought...since, you know..." Lucifer looked down at the table in embarrassment. "Um, well never mind, I guess. I really can't see why he would be so insulted, though."

Cracking a sheepish smile, he looked back up at Liz and scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "I suppose that I shouldn't go assuming things like that anyway, right? That was a bit rude of me."

"Without knowing Willis it's hard to understand. Willis lives on the rich side of town. I live in the slums. We are from two different worlds. He hates the slums and I dislike the upper class." Liz explained. "It's amazing that we can even be friends considering how we feel about each others world."

"Is that so? How peculiar." Lucifer didn't fully understand it, honestly, but he supposed that they probably had their reasons for thinking the way they did. "Well, I'm sure that you both will find your own ways to be happy, then. And as long as you can be friends, that's good too." He clasped his hands together on the table and relaxed in his chair.

Liz laughed. "Willis is a bit of a snob. He would hate to have people think.he was dating someone who lived in the slums." Liz explained

"Even someone like you? Wow, humans are weird." Lucifer propped his head on one hand and looked at Liz curiously. "Or maybe I just think strangely, either one could be a possibility. I suppose it depends on location after all. The people I was raised by had different priorities, so that might be why I don't get it." He closed his eyes and smiled happily at the thought of his town. "Of course, they weren't exactly human, either."

Katsumi then yelled " Crap!! I'm gonna be late!" running past your table then he turns around ant tells you " Another waiter will take of you. I'm terribly sorry." then Katsumi took of out the door.

"You're leaving already?" Lucifer looked on as the other waiter ran by. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow, then!" He waved from his seat at the table as he left. "I sometimes wonder if he remembers that I work here. Nah, I'm probably crazy. All those theories I'm chasing are finally making me crack, probably." Flicking an ear, the pale man kept staring in the direction Katsumi had gone.

Liz shook her head. She couldn't imagine what had sent the one waiter running out of the café. She wondered if Willis would show up today. She would give him until she finished her snack. She didn't want to be way from the clinic too long with this cold hitting the slums so hard. She meat her muffin while she waited for her friend.

Even tough the cafe was on the other side of town Willis decided that it was a new day and he may as well go there once more and hopefully catch Liz and see what Lucifers "Surprise" was, hopefully nothing too extreme. He grabbed his coat and shoved his Smith and Wesson into his pocket just in case anything was to go awry but despite his paranoia he had yesterday it seemed Lucifer was a good natured lad.

Willis reached the cafe, looked around and was glad to see that Liz was indeed there sitting with Lucifer "Greetings, Hello and Salutations my friends! How are we this fine morning?" Willis said with a smile as he was feeling quite chipper which was good since that did not happen so often for Willis which may or may not be his own fault

"Willis! Hello!" Lucifer's ears perked up when he saw the man walk in, clearly in a good mood, too. That was a good thing! "I'm glad that you came back, too? Is there anything I should get for you?" As he stood up from the table, Liz's comment also caught his attention. "Oh, right! There was a thing I had for you! I'll go get that as well!"

"Hmph, I see" Of course a cold would hit the Slums, it was a den of filth and a breeding ground for vermin both Human or not. Willis was surprised the people there had not died already from wallowing in their own shit, but then again that was the nature of Humans, enduring hardships while making sure they do nothing to improve their situation. But Willis had no doubt that Liz would be able to fix it, she was a miracle worker afterall "I wish you luck".

"Right, then! I'll be right back!" The pale man walked off quickly behind the counter, only managing to trip on one chair and bump the counter once on his way. Even with his newly improved eyesight, it seemed as if some things would take a while to change. If they ever did, of course. At least nothing had been spilled this time.
