So much talk of helping Muggles. Honestly, the wizarding world should just say, "Hey, go ahead an use all the nuclear energy you want. Let us be and we'll just vanish away the waste for you and set up some protective charms just in case." Or just design a generator that can take advantage of summoning, banishing and duplication spells. If anything, energy companies are probably the people driving this anti-wizard movement. A whole world-wide community of people who can break the law of conservation of energy with a few words and gestures? That's bad for business.

Help? Sure!

Make way for greed and lack of respect for the environment to have absolutely zero consequence? Nope.

Now....to concoct a potion to make Olesia completely lose her memory....Amelia being interviewed: "Here, have some tea and take a seat by all means; rest your weary bones. And yes it is tea. Drink up."ONLY KIDDING. She would never do something like that.

Astrid would, but someone would have to come up with the idea first. This is why we all can be thankful Terra doesn't say half of what she thinks up to her sister.

This is true.

Then again, even MORE people would take notice and even get more angrier and suspicious when an outspoken anti-wizard reporter suddenly stops doing just that.

Why not just send a Dementor to stalk her. Muggles can't see them, so it will just look like she got depression.

Because Dementors are far worse than a simple mind-erasing potion. Maybe? The notion on both is immoral. We as members of the wizarding community should rise above her persecution.

Would also run the risk of a Dementor being fickle and deciding to go for a kiss.

Also the Dementors are no longer used by wizards at this point. They were a symbol of the corruption within the ministry. After Kingsley because minister and the potter generation got into places of power they started removing things like that.

I say we just obliviate her memory and put her in some alley. But my character is Slytherin. So i'm biased.

Fifteen points from Slytherin. For.....acting like a Slytherin.

This is also true. But it doesn't mean that there is a lack of other more sinister sorts (Here's looking at you, Slytherins) who would enjoy harnessing such diabolical devices for their means.

Amelia won't be in a tizzy, necessarily. She'd be intrigued...and will want to discern the reasoning behind her unjustified ways. Simply because one's family was killed in the crossfire does not mean that everyone needs to suffer as a result. The grand scheme of reality is far beyond the small scope of familial loss, and while Amelia understands the pain of it, she doesn't understand the need to bring it upon others.

Simply because one apple is bad, does not mean the rest of the bunch is corrupt.

She and the Headmistress of Ravenclaw have many things to discuss.

A battle of wits perhaps, but then again, people so devout in their beliefs have no ability to change either way.

We will have to argue in game what is justified and what is not.

Yes, many things to discuss ^_^

On a semi-related note, I wonder how the Dursleys are doing, dealing with their association with Harry Potter, lol

I wonder how we can get Olesia to even interact with all the characters anyway? I don't see a reason for her to be anywhere near Hogwarts. One possibility I can think of is I guess after some incident, they allow some Muggles access to Hogwarts for a day as a gesture of goodwill.

I'm thinking that'd have to be it.

Or maybe Muggles are permitted to visit Hogsmeade?
