I'm going to go ahead and put a bit of a rush on the King learning language. I figure if he shifts while Kir-Kon is speaking, his brain will naturally change to adapt to the understanding of verbal language, which will allow him to understand rudimentary and simple human language.

Dawwww, Kir-Kon's a puppy now :P I think Kir-Kon will prolly head back, do his chores, grab his lunch, and come looking for the king again. And for the learning the language, that sounds good. I really hope to get a reply up today :P

Random status check: Are you enjoying the RP thus far? Anything you'd like to see more of? Less of? Ideas for future events?

I'm pretty good. The King is a pretty simple character at the moment, since he doesn't have much personality other than animal instincts, which has the dual effect of making things easier to write, but also making them a little more boring. Mostly I just want to get to the point where he starts consciously shapeshifting, because that will be fun. But, for the sake of plot, I've got to let it develop naturally.

Well, if you want, I'm going to be around today so if you have time we could do a few posts to get us rolling a little faster? Aim for a little bit smaller posts so we can get in more of them and get us closer to the good parts? Inara was having a time trying to make long posts once in a while so when we need to get the ball rolling we do smaller posts on Skype, then post them all once we're back on track. If you no have Skype, we can do it here :P

I've got to go to work in fifteen minutes, unfortunately, and I'm trying to finish something up before I leave. If you are still online when I get back, maybe. :) It'll be about three and a half hours.

Back. And not really any fun at work, but I was in the dishroom for three hours, handling plates that had just been run through 300 degree water, so it isn't really surprising. I don't hate it though, so it's all good.

I do have a Skype account, although I don't use it all that often. Would you like to go there?

You'll get a larger portion of my attention if we go to Skype, but I've never tried to roleplay there before, and if I recall correct there's no typo correction. *shrug* I don't really know which is more important.

Hey, Pope. I'd like to appologize for my sudden AWOL. I went onto Thanksgiving Break, and I've been trying to stay off the Internet as much as possible, to spend time with my family. All the same, I shouldn't have just vanished suddenly. I'll definitely be back online Monday, although I'll need to be working on an essay during that time. I hope you'll be patient with me.

I'm back from Thanksgiving break. Although I'm busy with school work, I think I've got time to squeeze you in at this point. So, what would we like to do?

Well, it's up to you. If you think Skypeing would get s where you wanna go in a reasonable time frame and be more fun for this beginning bit, then we can go there, and if you'd rather have a slower, even pace here then we'll just stay here. Is up to you.

Yo no se. Ugh. Do you have a preference at all?

I enjoy a good mix of both, going to skype when there is need for shorter more fast paced posts, and doing it right here on the thread when there is a more leisurely feel and chances for longer posts. Since our characters are in close contact and you feel in the groove for moving things forward, skype sounds like the better option at the moment, however if you would rather stay at the thread pace, we can stay here.

i hope you aren't getting frustrated with me...

Finals week is next week. I'll see how time goes, but I may not be able to get you anything until winter break starts. But once winter break does start I'll have a month of time, completely free. You'll get a good chunk of my attention then, to do with as you please.

I'm fine with you. I'm not frustrated. I know school/RL take priority so I am more than happy to sit back and wait. I promise. I will pop on Skype and wave once in a while, just to see how yer doin' and to let you know I'm still alive :P So yeah, don't worry, take yer time. *Smile*
