Description: Lord Ryven is average in all aspects for the people of the Waulk; Brown hair, eyes, his hair is kept short and trimmed. He has light facial hair, his build is athletic and he stands just shy of six foot. His only noticeable features is the scar that runs from under his left eye and ends above his right brow. Though not seen in the kings court very often, he is still well known for a "Leading from the front" life style. Not afraid to get dirty with his men he often drinks and socializes with his people. Though in court he remains very quite and rarely puts his two cents in. He married very young and had two daughters both gifted in magic.
His magic is often seen as very uncomfortable for those around him, it leaves mages with a empty, hollow feeling that can make one nauseated or uncomfortable. As a result his not often called to court, and not often invited to balls or other social gatherings. Though he is seen as a very reliable supporter of the crown.

Castle: A castle carved out of the mountain face that the Waulk Lands occupy a crevicein the mountain side, along with a few Plateaus, the castle is surrounded by a wooden wall. The lands slope upwards to the castle with Terrance farms occupying open spaces. The castle has its own personal river which runs underneath it and empties into the adjacent sea several leagues away.
Lands: Mostly farm lands and forestry. The Waulk Lands are stern and unforgiving having Abominations that roam the country side frequently. Its advised against traveling alone or parties less than five. Even though the base of the mountain is the most dangerous part the forest and plains nearby are also crawling with monsters of all calibers.
Specialty: The Waulk lands specialize in hunting and kill abominations, a specialty that has been theirs for the entirety of their existence. They fight in rag tag groups to bring down large prey.
Military: The soldiers are outfitted with light armor, spears and long-swords. They're like the rest of the Waulk youth, trained in fighting and some cases guerrilla warfare. They have highly trained archers capable of near inhuman shots. Their Calvary is weak at best, and their ground soldiers tend to be disorganized. The Waulk Lands People regard the fighting of other humans as distasteful and shameful. They break their war parties into three groups, the Horsemen who wear no armor, and wield a spear and axe. The Horsemen distract abominations and lead them to the ambush. The Foot Soldiers who wear minimal leather armor, cover themselves in Abomination bile and or blood to mask their scent, they take cover and wait for the single. At which they spring out with their spears and form a spear shield wall to impale the oncoming Abominations. The archers who wield long bows and short swords remain behind the footmen, and try to bring down the host before they reach foot soldiers. The military has about 10,000 people at full force. Though most of the time is hovering just above 5,000
Culture: The people of the Waulk are very self sufficient, and often times will refuse aid in the most dire situations. The Waulk Landians, have a strict code of honor which all people adhere to. Children are often times forced quickly to mature quickly due to the dangers of the land. They believe in procreate and often times have very large families that could range from eight to ten kids and in rare cases more. The average age upon death is roughly 45. The people of the Waulk are usually frugal, but twice a year they break habits and enjoy their solstice festivals.
