Name: Kevin Hutchins

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Appearance:
Height: 5 feet 6 inches.
Build: Slim but athletic.
Hair: Slightly wild, ear-length black hair.
Eye color: Green.
Clothing: When allowed to wear his own clothes, tends to favor a simple light blue, short-sleeved buttoned shirt and dark blue pants.

Personality: Mild-mannered, quiet and cooperative. However, he is known to become extremely aggressive when something actually manages to anger him.

Ability: Kevin is fairly "basic", as far as that word can be applied to a super soldier. His enhancements consist purely of physical augmentations. Though his strength, durability, reflexes, endurance, etc. are far in excess of an ordinary human being, he isn't quite as impressive when compared to what some the other products of the project are capable of. This is by design. If there ever are to be "mass-produced", grunt-type super soldiers, it is very likely they will be patterned off of Kevin's package of enhancements, assuming his trials prove successful.

Bio: Kevin is ex-military, having served as a Private First Class in the US Army. Kevin was driven to enlist by the legacy of his older brother (who died in service) and to get away from an unhappy home life.
His service was, for the most part, unremarkable, save for two things. First, he was very reckless, often putting himself into dangerous situations. The extreme levels of stress he subjected himself to likely led to the second distinguishing point of comparatively brief service, what ended it. Found guilty of war crimes and facing severe punishment, Kevin soon caught the attention of the program.
Unable to cope with the idea of being forced out of the military, Kevin was a more than willing participant of this new government project. The project went to additional lengths for this particular subject. With the help of his new friends, Kevin Hutchins vanished from the public eye and all records of his crimes were buried. His benefactors went so far as to fake his death, even giving Kevin a grave site back at his hometown in rural Kentucky, next to his older brother's. While this has given him a clean slate, he is aware that it only makes it far easier for his handlers to dispose of him without a trace if he were to step out of line.

Personality
Usually quiet and doesn't intervene in other people's conversations unless needed to. Although aloof, he can be friendly to an actual friend, if he would have one. He can be harsh to a complete stranger that didn't give a good first impression though. Often misunderstood; as an enemy, they would mistake him for an innocent and weak person, but as an ally, many would misunderstood him because of his past and maybe attitude.

Ability
At some point when he was much younger, his ability to control the shadows emerged. He can shift into a shadow and travel quickly through surfaces. If he needed a weapon, he can make one through the shadows, usually coming from his own shadow. He also has the ability to launch projectiles from the shadows and also make things such as dark vines or wall that can help him in battle appear from these. Due to his mastery in shadow shifting, his very being became influenced by darkness. If one doesn't concentrate or look at him directly, he would be pretty unnoticeable as he somehow becomes transparent at these times. But due to him being young, his powers are limited like his power to create things from the shadows.

Bio
He was born to a normal family and had a normal life, until his eight birthday. On his eight birthday, his powers awakened and it being new to him, he couldn't control it properly. This happened right when the party was going on and everyone just ran away, except for his parents. They couldn't believe what they saw that they just froze there. Everything was being destroyed in their home. Spikes, bullets, vines, all emerged from the shadows. All he could do was shout and be scared of himself and the pain that he is feeling. Soon his powers exhausted himself and fell to the ground. Even through this, his parents still tried to accept him and went somewhere else, away from their home, away from those who had seen their son.

However, as days and months passed by, they grew scared of their own son. The things that he did and what he could do brought fear to them. Soon, they couldn't take it anymore and decided to leave him somewhere, but someone appeared before they could do such. A man from a fearsome criminal organization learned of the boy and bought him from them. The boy didn't say anything and only agreed, he knew what his parents feel. From there on the man harnessed his abilities and gave him the name Limbo, this was because of his power and the things that he had done for him, successful assassinations that is. He never liked it though, he only followed his orders. But one day in a mission, he was ambushed instead and was became extremely tired from all the attacks until he was unable to fight back or escape. A man in a coat asked, "Would you like to be in a prison, or would you rather join a certain project for the greater good?", where in which he chose the second.

hmm...interesting. Everyone's powers were given to them by Vlad. Not say your story doesn't work. Clad would definitely be curious about him. His powers are similar to Roxy's do you have a problem with that?

Oh. Sorry. I actually didn't know the powers didn't exist before. Should have known from the first post. Wasn't reading properly. Though if it's alright that way, then can I keep it like that? If possible, we can just add some details later on like Vlad actually experimenting on a newborn or something?

Roxy does have the same ability. I'm fine with it though. I can somehow make him different from her I guess?

I am fine with you keeping it the way it is. I like the idea of Vlad experimenting on a newborn with or without the parents knowledge. In fact it is something that Vlad would do. I have no problem with him having the same power. It is always interesting to see how people use similar powers. He would have to wear the same bracelet that Roxy does though otherwise he could easily escape the facility.
