I'm revamping Reiko's personality a bit to make her more collected and calm leading to her being indirectly rude, rather than having her just be a shy quiet type. I think that works better for the type of character I'm going for.

That's actually pretty useful so you can kinda build it in the RP. *sighs* I get so used to RP's who make you put a personality section and I overdo it. :'^0

I tend to favor personality more than backstory, as I feel it's often more appropriate for backstory to be revealed over time rather than right upfront.

I like to keep them both vague most of the time, partially because it's much better to play them out in-character, but mostly because those are usually the two most difficult fields to fill in. ^^;
