Maybe we can explain things as the rooms got a leak or something so the characters without a room mate any more can transfer to one that has two?

Aah, but Kotone has a roommate still, doesn't she? Unless a problem arises with that situation, I think she should keep her roommate. Makes things more interesting. :3
