"I said unload faster." A loud crack of a whip quickly followed the order. From under an awning Miric watched the welder of the whip trying to drive the elves that were currently unloading a new shipment. It was clear this one didn't have much left in him. Such a waste to feed the miserable wretch for the week or two he had left. All the while the slow down would much cut more into his profits.

Standing to his full high Miric approached his employee and grabbed the whip hand in a tight grip before he could bring it back down on elven skin. "Now now, don't you see, this one is to tired. Help him put those sacks down." The other man gave Miric a knowing look before turning to the slave and roughly removed the sack of wheat.

Miric stood slightly out of sight until the human moved to the side. The elven slave was met by the gleam of a dagger as it plunged into his neck. Blood splattered across Miric's face as the elf clawed futilely at his tunic and mouth prayers to his gods. Leaning close to his ear, but speaking loud enough to the others to hear the human master spoke. "Your gods are dead. I am your god know."

Miric removed his dagger with a slickly wet slide and turned his back as he began to clean the weapon. Over his shoulder he said to the other dock workers, "Have his brethren throw his body in the gutters for the birds and then get back to work. We have two more shipments to unload by midday."

Crouched on a rooftop Feyd watched as Miric murdered the poor elf. The rebel was about to ready his bow when he decided against it, "One day. But not today" he muttered as he crept down the side of the building and into the streets. "I need to get word to the resistance", he thought as he put on his hood and continued down the streets to his location" the shipment of supplies would be better off in our hands"

Finally arriving at the local tavern "The Grey Fox" Feyd removed his hood once inside and made his way to the counter before asking the barkeep for mead. Upon recieving his drink he walked over to a tapestry that was hung on the wall. The tapestry depicted a grey fox that was entering a cave. The usual symbol for the entrance into a resistance base. He knocked on the tapestry three times and the wall behind it opened up to reveal a staircase to the cellar. Once inside the wall closed behind Feyd. As he descended the stairs he was greeted by the sounds of his fellow freedom fighters as they took part in hush conversation and looked over maps and attack strategies. Feyd sat at a booth and waited, not long after a man in a hooded robe came and sat beside him.

"What news?", the man asked. His face was obscured by the hood but Feyd knew him as Abbas.

"A shipment just arrived today, get word to the higher ups. The transport of thd cargo should be complete by midday so have a scout locate where its being stored", Feyd took a gulp of his mead before resting the cup on the table.

"Any idea of what's inside?", Abbas asked his tone almost mocking Feyd.

"No but i'd prefer we have it than the humans and if possible, give it to our people"

"Our people? These are not your people my friend. I am a man, these elves here would more than love to see me dead right now. And you are half elf, they consider you a disgrace. Rest assured myfriend these are not our people. They are simply a group whose activites we both benefit from"

"Maybe thats your reason for helpinf but my reasons are different. Anyway make sure that message reache-"

"Yes yes i will", Abbas said before getting up "i always do enjoy our conversations, farewell my friend" and with that Abbas was gone. Diluded among the multitude of faces within the den of foxes.

Princess Anya awoke in a cold sweat she pushed her sheets off and sat up. Her night gown came to her knees and her hair was pulled back in a tangled mess. She would ring for her servents to help her get dressed for the day. Maybe then someone could tell her what was going on in the kingdom, just the other day an elf spat at her feet and cursed her name. She was always friendly to the elves and wondered what had changed. Finnaly she ringed for her servants and the got her dressed and groomed. She wore a purple dress that poofed out a bit at the bottom. She began her venture to greet the king as she did every morning

A group of elves were running through the woods, behind them was the sounds of barking dogs, followed by men shouting and horses galloping. A young female elf with two children elves hid in the bushes while the others kept running and making noise. Suddenly one of the elves stepped on a nose and then was lifted up into the air by his leg. One of the elves shouted "traps!", then half of the elves were caught up and a few different traps. Then more humans and dogs ambushed the confused elves.
The young female elf then lead the the two children elves away as quietly as they could. Suddenly they stopped walking when they heard a growling. A wolf came around the tree and slowly walked toward the trio. The young elf turned around with the kids to meet a man who had a sword pointed at the young elf's neck. "you should surrender, I'd rather not ruin such a pretty face." The girl scowled but she surrendered

Feyd awoke in his house but he was not alone. A girl was in bed with him, probably a tavern girl he took home with him the prior night. He got up from the bed leaving hee still asleep. Moving towards his closet he opened it and moved the false back to the side.just like the den he descended stairs to enter his own personal sanctuary. A circular shaped cellar, The Sanctuary contained a weapon rack right by the stairs which held his sword and bow along with a hook to hang his quiver and arrows. In the center of the celler was a armor stand where he placed his black leather armor, dark green hood, and bandana to cover the lower half of his face. On the left side of the sanctuary were a few target dummies and on the right was a door that lead to a smaller room which held a grindstone, forge, and workbench. At the far end of the sanctuary was a shrine, a series of candles were lit there among statuettes and a portrait of Feyd's mother. Feyd let out a sigh as he put on his armor and equipped his weapons. Before leaving though he knelt by the shrine and prayed to the goddess of the hunt to protect him. Then to his mother whispering, "Mother, please forgive me. I know this is not the life you wanted for me but this is the life i must live now. Not only to avenge you but to avenge our people. I swear to you, once justice has been done i will lay down my arms...i hope" with that he exited the sanctuary and closed the false back to the closet behind him. Just in time too as the tavern girl had awoken the minute he closed the back. She motioned him to come back to bed but he ignored her and simply walked towards the door, whistling for his now awake direwolf to follow. Today was going to be different he could just feel it.

Once at the Fox's Den Feyd looked around for Abbas but found no sign of him. No matter, he had work to do and couldn't waste time following up on a shipment raid. The bulletin had assignments and reports for any willing to take them, "Time to get to work" he said as he plucked a piece of paper from the bulletin. Reading over the paper he realized he hadn't picked the most exciting job. Recruiting. "...could always use a few more blades", he thought as he scratched Witherfang's head. "Come on, we got a dull day ahead of us"

Before he could return to the streets however, a fellow resistance fighter ran up to him. His eyes looked panicked as he tried to catch his breath. "Feyd! There's-a problem-bounty hunter-rounding up elves!"

"Looks like the recruits will have to wait, time to see what we can do about this bounty hunter", Feyd moved towards the exit signaling 3 other rebels to follow. Looks like he was right all along, today was different.

Juno was terribly bored.
Which was odd, considering she didn't think it was even noon yet. Granted, both she and Acantha wouldn't have much of anything to do unless something massive popped up or one of his Highness's family members decided to leave (in which case Juno, Acantha, and a few others would have to play escort and chauffeur), but she wasn't known for her patience and itched for something to do.
The two had been stationed in the same room his Highness the King took to eating breakfast in once every blue moon, and this case this morning, and said nothing while the Little Princess had swept in and greeted her father, just like she always did no matter what room he occupied. Painfully uneventful and, as such, painfully boring.
One of the elves had spat on their Little Princess not too long ago. Juno thought about it almost constantly since then, about the little bit of activity they'd gotten that day and the in the uneventfulness since, and the way Acantha had seized up like she was going to strike it down right then and there. She hadn't, because it was no secret that the Little Princess was fond of elves, but the blonde had made it abundantly clear to everyone else not a member of the royal family that they should be more careful next time.
Juno allowed herself a sideways glance at Acantha. The woman stood, back straight and chin up, staring straight ahead without a hint of emotion on her face. Juno wondered about exactly what went on in that head of hers when her face looked like that.

Within the cool and musty confines of his warehouse Miric walked along the row of crates as his supervisor droned on about this latest shipment. Most was the typical dry goods that would be soon sent out through out the kingdom by caravan. It was the group of crates at the far end with several of his hired swords watching over that he wanted to get to. As they approached on of the men turned and removed the covering off a crate. Inside was several sets of armors bound for the city guard.

Miric reached inside, sliding his hand under the armors and the burlap cover that they rested on, and removed one of several thin packages. The contents felt loose, like it was sand, but it was something far more deadly. "Remove the product and send it to storage." For such an innocent looking material it would help him conquer a kingdom.

All the other bounty hunters were rounding up the other elves. Alex was returning with the three young ones he could hear them. "count heads, how many" Said one. Another hunter said "we have about 13" "damn it we're missing three" Alex then shouted "correction we have them all" the other hunters gave a cheer. Alex said "check them for brands." The hunters began to check them. "I've got a few with Miric's brand" " there are others with brands for a few slave dealers." Alex checked the kids and the young female elf "these three are not branded" One of the other hunters said "does that mean they were born free." Alex said "no it means that are from the linked town." Alex then said "I will personally escort them back to the town you take them to their owners." Alex then put the young elf and elfs kids on a horse. Alex got back on his horse and began to ride back toward the linked town.

" ..i see...some of the elves are trying to create a resistance? And some of our cattle our roaming outside the town?" The handsome king grabbed a glass of wine from a elf that was holding the tray. You could tell that he was the stubborn one. Wounds covered his body. The king's commander spoke, Alston " yes your highness. This may be bad news if we dont take action. What are your orders. " Alston remained on knee. His fist planted firmly on his chest and his head hung low. " my orders? Bring them here alive, the members. If they wont confess, do whatever it takes for them to spill. I'll work them all until they croak over and die. Who knows ...i may use a lucky female as my play thing. " the evil king smirked at the last part.

Alston chuckled. " your dark ...lord emery. I'll do as you wish. "

Meanwhile, Klaus grabbed his bow, giving Oliver to his sister before walking out the door. Once he stepped outside, he saw a man beating a elf. A flood of anger rushed over the teen. He dropped his bow and growled, walking. " stop! He's had enough already! "

Feyd was already on his way to intercept the bounty hunters when he heard someone shouting. "Now what...", he muttered as he turned towards the origin of shouting. The other rebels stopped as well one of them asking, "Are we going after the bounty hunters or what?" Feyd thought for a moment before answering, "You three go after the hunters, i'll investigate that shout" the group then split up and not long after Feyd found himself on a rooftop over looking Klaus confronting a man who seemed to be beating an elf. "Maybe I will get some recruiting done..", that was a maybe as he wasn't sure if this kid was going to live to see tomorrow. For now he'd watch and help out if necessary.

The hot pans and scalding waters danced around the kitchen as the hustle and bustle of the morning meal preparations began. Knives flying here and there, curses spouted left and right; the kitchen was a battlefield in its own right. An elf dashed madly around the chaos as he grabbed the piece of steamed meat before madly applying the spices and sauces that came along with it. The elf didn't even bat an eye as he grabbed and poured the various ingredients into the pot.

"Really... Using medicinal herbs as mere spices? These humans-- I'll never understand their idiocy." the elf mumbled under his breath, grabbing the sharp knife at his wooden counter. In a flash, the elf's hands handled the knife so expertly that the meat was minced within a few seconds or so; it was as if he was chopping a real person. The elf scooped up the pieces as he poured them into the bowl and nimbly sped away to finish the dish. It took hours to complete the entire meal, and when it was done, all the servants lined up behind the doors that separated the kitchen from the rest of the castle areas.

"UHL! Get your worthless elvish rear right here, right now!" the head cook screamed, his veins almost popping from his temple. The elf, Uhl, bowed his head as he took his place at the rear part in the line of servants. The doors opened as the procession of dishes came prancing out of the kitchen. They were heading for the dining hall as it seemed. Suddenly, Uhl was stopped by the head cook.

"Look here, elf-boy. I want you to go to the King and announce to him that his royal meal, prepared by his most royal and loyal cook, is ready for his royal palate! I want you to stress my royal-ness and my skill! I hope your pointy-ears, oops, I'm sorry... Your broken ear has heard everything. Now, get out of my sight!" the cook shouted his order as Uhl bowed and turned, speeding away towards the throne room. Uhl was shaking, not out of fear or shock, but out of pure and seething rage. His hands trembled as if it was holding a blade. His teeth gritted and gnashed in fury. However, Uhl knew that he shouldn't lose his focus and cool now. This was as close as he could get to the royal throne. Someday... someday... He could---

Uhl arrived at the throne room as he deftly knelt on the ground, his forehead touching the cold earth. He had been taught by that poor excuse of a chef to always bow in front of royalty, much less the King. The cuffs that clamped painfully on his wrists was a sign that he was a 'broken' elf, that he possessed no more will to fight back. Based on Uhl's perspective, he could only see, more or less, the right side of the room. Being blind in the left side and all... It could be symbolic-- Uhl only sees what is right.

"Great and honorable, King Emery, and the loyal and fearless, Royal Court. The skillful and wise, Head Cook, Lord Farieh, is pleased to announce that with his unparalleled mastery of culinary measures, the meal fit for a king and the court is now ready for consumption in the royal dining hall. The King and the Court are invited to partake of a divine meal." Uhl merely repeated what Farieh told him to say; that egotistical prick had an inflated ego for a start.

Uhl kept his head bowed down, however, he did notice some prominent figures within the room. There was the King, a despicable human life. Along with him were the guards, Juno and Acatha. He had heard stories of their skills and merciless retribution. Of course, who wouldn't the know the Great Persecutor, Alston? That man slew elves as if they were animals. Another sight was there, the Princess. Her name was Anya; a beautiful lass she was. Uhl would have paid more attention to her if she wasn't a human in the first place. One thing was for sure though... All of them sickened him in that room. Of course, he couldn't show it... at least, not openly.

The King's garden was right outside his roal court. From the painted windows, Sylvestra could see everything. She watched as the chef's slave, Uhl, arrived in the room and knelt, no doubt announcing the chef's "divine meals". The only thing larger than the chef's ego was his belly, many servants used to say... Sylvestra felt sorry for the boy... As the tender of gardens, Sylvestra didn't exactly have anyone to answer to but the King himself, which meant there was no abusive superior to come and whip her whenever he wishes, like the chef or the slave traders would to most other elves. In that regard, Sylvestra was lucky. The elf-servants around the castle often came to her for guidance and help. She had become a supportive figure in the castle grounds for the other elves, but Uhl had never come to her before. Perhaps he was too proud? Too angry?

Sighing, Sylvestra ventured down the grounds until she stopped at the servant's entrance, where Uhl would most likely exit once his announcing of the meal was done. She waited for him there. Maybe they would speak...

Alston turned to uhi just as he was about to ask emery something. " we where in the middle of an conversation, you lowly dog. Also, you had no permission to-" the irritated commander was silenced by emery. " Alston ...relax. i don't want any blood spilled here. Besides, i just got this carpet. " emery stood up, walking down the tiny sets of stairs. He stopped by them, this hands behind his back." Great, we'll be there at once. Now Alston, join my daughter and i before you leave?" He smiled. Alston kept his eyes on uhi, a look of hate was on his face." Of crouse .."

" was that..." Klaus's mother looked up from the basket she was preparing and saw her son in the distance. " oh no...why son?" She stopped what she was doing and walked over to Klaus, grabbing his arm." What do you think your doing? Join the hunting squad right now! " she sounded worried. Klaus frowned and gripped his bow when he saw the man. " those humans can hunt for their sleves. " said to his self, waiting

Alex was leading the three on the other horse at a slow trot when suddenly the wolf growled. Alex said "I wasn't expecting them to get here so quickly." Alex then quickened the paced to a full gallop. Alex gave a loud whistle to signal to the other hunters that they were going to have company. The other hunters quickly put the other slaves in the cart and they started heading toward the slave traders place.

Alex soon arrived at the town and helped the three young elves off the horse walked them over to a guard and said "return them to their families these three are too young to be sold as slaves." The guard shrugged and took them through the gates. Alex then got back on his horse and went to meet his fellow bounty hunters at the slave traders.

Feyd grinned at the sight of the young elf's defiance. "Maybe one day kid. But not today, I got bounty hunters to catch", he said to himself as he climbed down from the building and made his way to meet up with the rest of his team. Before he could he spotted one of the bounty hunters bringing some elves in from the forest then quickly leaving after..setting them free? He followed the bounty hunter until he felt the moment was right, he called him out, "Hey! Bounty Hunter!" He was going to have a fight which he was more than ready for. Feyd unsheathed his sword and took his stance.

Lux was just roaming around the castle after having checked upon his shops in the city and seeing how they were doing. So far today, they were very profitable and this pleased him. I probably should give my workers a raise for their efforts as a reward, he mused silently to himself. He wasn't really worried about where he was going-which was very evident as he paid a lot of attention to the golden coin he was flipping in his hand as he walked down the castle hall.

A lot of the people in the castle knew he had style, and sometimes he even heard some of the servants gossiping about him around corners of this stone building. It brought a smile to his lips to know that he was probably one of the more recognized and 'fashionable' people of the kingdom. It was helped by the fact that he would wear items like he was wearing today: A midnight blue sky robe, dyed black boots with silver buckles running down the rest of them and also with the boots tops turned down, also underneath the green belted robe he had on was his newly bought black suit of shiny steel armour without the helmet and lastly his painted orange circular shield accompanied by his longsword were strapped to his back and quite visible.

After walking around yet another hallway he vaguely noticed that he was in the servant's entrance and noticed that the elf lady who tended the gardens was waiting there. He put the coin away as he decided to speak with her.

He approached her and smiled as he arrived within chatting distance, "Can I help you in any way?" He offered in a genuine friendly manner.

Princess anya nodded to the servents respectdully and decides to take her food to go. She picks up her plate and begins to half run to the gardens, she loved picking the poppies... it got her in trouble before but she loved the tiny flowers. She peeked around the corner and saw a man and woman she slightly ignored them and sat at a bench nibbling at her food, ahe broke her bread and tossed it on the ground for the animals. She stares at the poppies waiting to pick them.

Alex stopped his horse and looked at his wolf. Then turned around and said "what is it, and make it quick I have some more deals to make." The other bounty hunters returned the branded slaves to their owners. After getting the reward for them they started heading toward the slave traders to sell the ones that can be sold.
