Vampire RP

Soooo I have been wanting to do a Vampire RP for a long time. Basically I want to place the RP in a large city, such as New York City (I might change it), and have different families of vampires. The least number I want is two the most is four. There will be alliances and rivalries and such. I will add more detail when I get enough interest. If anyone is interested, please post here! Haha ok. So, it's placed in modern times, so they can go out during the day, but they are very weak. Some vampires feed on humans, while others prefer blood bags. They have powers such as memory manipulation and flight. That's all I've got so far. I am welcome to ideas and options. I know people's ideas of vampires differ, so I want to work as best as I can with everyone to create a fun RP.

Alright, so I posted this in the Gen. Int.Ch. and so far I have about six RPers interested. That should be enough to get us started. So what I was thinking was (as I stated before) We have the basic Vamp stuff, such as feeding off of humans or blood bags, memory control (but only on humans), weakness in the daylight. I also want to allow each Vampire to have one power (you get to choose as long as it does not interfere with RPC rules such as Godmoding) and they will be allowed one weapon as well. New Vampires are created by being bitten, that simple. If you decide to be a new vampire and you want to go around killing people, that's fine, just know that eventually, you will be caught and brought to the head of one of the families. Speaking of that, I need at least two people who would like to be the head of a family of Vampires. If I only have one taker, I will become one myself. Also, you will need to decide if your family likes humans, dislikes them, or land somewhere in between where you fins them amusing, but disposable. Ummmm.... that is all I have for now.

What are the families like? Just like, coven of vampires living together? I'd be willing to take the head for one depending on this (and what McHaggis' head is gonna be like).

Also are there more vamp weaknesses other than sunlight? Fire? Wood? Silver?

Also I wouldn't make a point to put a limit on weapons. Most people are pretty reasonable about them. Like "one weapon allowed" is just an opportunity to make a ridiculous weapon when allowing two simple ones might make more sense. But, in my opinion, vampires don't really need weapons anyway, lol

Im interested, i like vampires as much as i like Werewolves and lycans and no not that Jacob from twilight kind either, they were more changeling than werewolf, im more of the wolfman and dog soldiers and underworld werewolf kind of guy, but when it comes to vampires, the ones that walk around in daylight is a big no no, vampires that turn to ash in the sun is better

Naaaah, the ability to walk around in daylight is better imo since they become weak from it. It can get boring wandering around at night while being all-powerful.

Having to (and being able to) go out during the day gives a bit of vulnerability to characters :D

Yeah, I don't like the instant-ash either with vampires. I prefer it just making them weaker, and more and more weak the more time they spend in it. Though I also like them having a lot of weaknesses, hence me asking about fire/wood/silver, haha. Particularly wood, but I think most people prefer silver.

Yes and no. The main leaders of the family will live together, while the vampires that were turned by the family live in different locations close to the main family's house. Kinda like a gang. If you want to head a house that would be great! Yes, weaknesses will include fire and wood. Vampires will die by ripping off their head or a steak to the heart. Wood can harm vampires, but will only kill them if it goes all the way through. If the steak grazes the heart or only goes half way through, they vampire will only be in serious pain. They also have the ability to heal faster than humans. But If a vampire is hurt while in the day light, they will heal slower. And I see your point. I will allow multiple weapons (but lets not go crazy :P)

Idk how Theodora feels about it but I'm down. It'd create a nice antagonist for both families. Though you'll have to keep him not-rated X, but can use fade-to-blacks for the worst of it.

Also Idk what you mean by "Elder True" vampire. To me that just sounds like a really old vampire??
