apparently those days ended when the damned movies cane out
everyone who thought spiderman and x-man were for geeks ow think its epic and see the movies as the true world settings even though so many things have changed from the original works.
and the way they ended the x-men was something I kinda hated, getting everyone killed like that -_-

dont get me wrong I liked the movies on their own if you turned off your mind of the main marvel works, cause I found the movies a little bit insulting to the real fan's
its a bummer cause I really hoped the movies would have brought more attention to the marvel world and increase the number of people interested, but sadly enough it went kinda the wrong way
to the point even that in holland no more comics can be found anywhere, they were taken off the market -_-

First off. Spoilers much about the X-man ending? I haven't seen the new one xD.
Secondly I've got to admit that I'm one of those guys who don't read the comics and only watch the movies. The only super hero comics I have are a few of the ultimate collections of the amazing spiderman (which I think are FREAKING awesome) but I do love the lore behind Marvel heros and look at the wikis a lot (also have the marvel encyclopedia and have read it ALOT) but I gotta agree that the movie verses in most ways aren't quite as good as the 616 universe. 616 is the main universe right?

to compensate for lower members it might be useful if some or all of us (if they are able to) can play with multiple char's
if I remember rocktet was not that good with playing multiple ones so he will be excused XD
But I for one have played with 6 chars in one rp on multiple occasions so I can handle multiple ones with ease
not saying I should play with 6 but it was a little example of that I can handle it XD

I also used to have my own marvel style (but not afflicted to any real marvel setting, basically a standalone using the marvel world as a basis) rp of a group calling themself CoM (City of Mutants) (the name was ironic as all outcasts were allowed, such as a symbiot user and it was not a city but an underground base that acted as their home, it was a small group but later on grew much larger and found a new base that was bigger but also added on plot settings that pretty much spelled trouble for them)
though I wont just blindly give CoM to other people
I might see some ways to take uses from it to guide you guys

off course if anyone is interested I might see if I can do an new attempt at building CoM up as well, that much is up to you guys
if our friend Pyro would still make his own, then I for one can do both at a time,CoM and here XD
might risk me using some same chars though XD
depends also on the timeline though, CoM had 2 timelines XD

I did an RP one time where Gambit had bought about half of New Orleans and had turned it into "Mutant town" where only mutants and those friendly to them lived and worked. People used their powers for work, so there was always a demand for new people with powers and people in the area made far more money than average because they did more work. It was just a background location, though, meant as a safe haven against the MRD and anti-mutant groups.
