When you're typing in a web form (the reply box counts as a form), it auto saves your text every few seconds so if something crashes, the site goes down, etc. you can just right click and recover what you were typing.

I had one, but I think this latest surge was it's last. The surge protector is older than my monitor. And my monitor is pretty old. And it's obvious the protector didn't take all of the surge.
