Sun streaming through the window woke her, and stretching out she sat up and looked around. It took a moment but she realised her surroundings - and the couch she had slept on - were familiar. She ran a hand through her hair and looked up as the kitchen door opened. "Well, it's been a while since... this." She murmured, trying to shake off the sleep that still clung to her.

"If two years is a while, then yes." Robb had a mess of brown hair and didn't look much longer awake than she was, still wearing his pajama bottoms. He was hardly what you would call a role model but he was harmless and nice enough to open his apartment when she needed somewhere to crash.

"Things happened. Thanks for not moving." She stood up, seeing her shoes across the room, and stretched out again only to catch a look at the time. "Oh, crap." She stepped into the bathroom and quickly showered before changing the dress from the night before into a new outfit. Stepping back out she collected her shoes and said goodbye to Robb, for now at least, and then headed out into the street. It was already busy, people consumed in their own world, and it wasn't hard for her to find a dark alley to duck into and then teleport back to the academy.

Appearing before the school she took a minute to steady herself. Her metabolism definitely helped - there was a reason the norse gods were so good at drinking - but she was running off very little sleep and she hadn't exactly been light on the magic recently. Taking a deep breath of the cold winter air she made her way to the cafeteria, getting herself a big cup of coffee before taking herself off to a quiet corner, wearing a look that almost dared anyone to get close.

Her eyes shot open in shock and she froze in place. She grinned for a second and ran off to the cafeteria. Her face was red and hot as blood rushed to her cheeks in embarrassment. She quickly grabbed as much food as she could to her tray. She sat outside again in her usual table top and ate. She did see Katherin, and ran to her side, tapping her shoulder to hopefully have her sit with her outside.

Katherin smiled when Sue tapped her on the shoulder. At least she still had Sue to talk to and hang out with. Since Jack hadn't come to breakfast yet Katherin grabbed her tray and followed Sue outside. Once she set her tray down, Katherin took out her phone and turned on her phone app. Slowly she signed Hey girl. Missed you last night. Hope you weren't too lonely.

Anthony had watched with a small smile as Sue danced, and debated whether or not to get out and cheer. Before he came to a decision, however, she made eye contact with him and instantly fled, the beginnings of a blush obvious on her cheeks. "Well, that was unexpected. Perhaps I should have gotten out after all." he thinks with a frown. As he exits his car and walks to the cafeteria, he thinks, "One of these days I'll have to show her what I can do." After selecting a meal hearty enough for the Hulk himself, Anthony surveys the cafeteria. As he scans the tables, he spots a look of proud defiance among the groggy stares of the masses, and shakes his head slightly, "Now that jut won't do." He walks to Kat's table and sits down as he asks, "Do you despise us...Midgardians? That is your name for us, correct?"

(Don't worry, it's not breakdancing)

Luckily she didn't seem to be the only one suffering, if anything she appeared to be one of the best off. It was usually only her behaviour and attitude that gave away she had been drinking and equally the morning after she did not suffer the 'hangover' they spoke of. Being dragged from such a short sleep however was not something that helped. As she waited for the coffee to cool she feels the weight of the table shift and looks up to see Anthony now sitting there. At least he didn't talk for talkings sake. She thought over his question for a moment. "Midgardians, yes, and it's nothing so strong as despising you. On average you are exceptionally unremarkable, yet seem the hold the attitude that you are one of the most important creations in the world. The students of the school are different obviously, but it usually works one way or the other, and in extremes." She said languidly, looking at him to see how he'd take her words.

Anthony smiles, "That's because on this world, humans are the most important creations. Some, more than others. Do you, like your father consider us as insignificant as ants?"

Estella walked into the cafeteria and headed over to get some breakfast. After getting a tray of food she walked over to the tables and looked around to see where she should sit.

"Once upon a time, yes, but you are no longer naive to the world you live in." Hearing what he said of her father she gave a wry laugh, that sounded very much like what he would say. "Not insignificant, no whole race can be called insignificant. The universe is a living, thriving thing; nothing and no-one is here by accident. But surely, to an ant, they are the most important creatures of their world? So perhaps there is a truth in it, but it is not so insulting as you would take it to be." She circled her finger around the edge of her coffee cup, but the steam still rose so she pushed it to the side, running her hand through her dark hair which thanks to her rush of a morning was looking more wild than usual. She wasn't sure why she was discussing the nature and balance of the universe at this time of the morning but it was better than the menial conversations she had heard snippets of across the cafeteria.

Sue

Sue took Katherin's phone and typed down: "I don't suppose You know where Phoebe is, do you?"

If she had to talk about Phoebe with anyone, she thought it best with Katherin or Kijani. The 4 of them were closest. Surely they must know more than her, she thought.

"Remember the other day in power development class when she disappeared? Well it turns out Anthony somehow found a letter from Phoebe's mom. Phoebe has decided to take some time to learn about her mom and her powers." Katherin typed wishing she had an easier to communicate with Sue. From now on she was spending time learning sign language.

Estella walks over and joins Sue and Katherin. Hey there. She noticed they were using the phone to communicate. Hmm... I have an idea how you can talk easier. Taking a seat she waits to see what there response would be.

Katherin smiled welcoming. She didn't know Estella well and was a little surprised to hear a voice in her head that wasn't hers. Still in a school for people with abilities she wasn't too surprised that there was a telepath. Katherin considered how to communicate with her. She obviously had something besides typing back and forth in mind. "What do you have in mind.

She had to think about how she would put this. It wasn't terribly complicated to her but not everyone had her abilities. I would use my telepathy to create a link between your minds so you can communicate with each other like I do. I would be the medium. She hoped that made sense. Describing her abilities was always a little difficult since she didn't usually have much to compare them to.

"So you would build a bridge between us? So we would talk in your mind like its an office or meeting room? Wouldn't that be awkward and draining for you?" Katherin asked. "Eventually I will get the hang of sign language."

Kalinda finished eating her food silently. She checked her blocks were still strong, as more people entered the cafeteria. She was becoming so anti-social. She didn't even make a more to get up and speak with anyone.

she sighed, finished her juice, and stood.

Before classes started a limo pulled up to the front of the academy. A girl stepped out and took a look around. Already from the entrance she clearly came from a family that was well off. The driver walked around and unloaded her bags from the back and set them by her. Hanging by the door Autumn waited for another someone else to come out of the car.

*A boy walks out of the limo, following close behind the girl, though he seemed like he came from a much poorer way of life than the girl.* "Huh, so this is the place your folks were talking about?"

Griffin saw the girl Zack talked to after the dance yesterday. Zack wanted to greet her, but Griffin wasn't comfortable doing so. He found approaching people he didn't know well uncomfortable. While Griffin had technically meet Kalinda through Zack he still felt awkward at the thought of talking to her. While Zack might be ready to expand his comfort zone, Griffin was quite happy where he was. Silently he found a dark corner to sit and eat in.

Kalinda looked up at the sound of a car, unaware she had been walking towqrds the gates. She blinked, wondering what was going on

"Looks like it." She grabs one of her bags and hands it to Jensen. "Here, carry this for me." The driver hands her some papers and she looks through them to see what their first classes were. After a minute she sighed. "I told them we needed the same classes. Whatever, we'll deal with it."

"Hey darling, I'm not your servant, remember?" *Despite his arguing, Jensen holds onto the bag.*
