Ben stands and walks toward Mimic, tilting his head to the side and cracking it as he neared his teacher. "Let's do this, old man."

Connor headed into the classroom, grabbing his pack then heading out. He went to a bathroom, washing off the blood. More bruises. He grimaced then sighed.

But he walked back to the classroom with a smile. He had managed to hit mimic twice, and if his side wasn't so tender, he might have survived longer. He had improved greatly. He sat back down, watching the screen.

Kalinda hesitated, before walking up to sit beside Connor, "I can probably heal that" she said, then without waiting for permission, laid a hand on his face, letting down her blocks, taking in the pain, then spinning it back out quickly to heal.

When it was done, she stood and returned to her seat, shaking slightly as she struggled to put her blocks back up.

Connor blinked, looking after the girl. Then shook his head, and returned to the tv.

His laser vision was charging up, and from that, he shot three concussive blasts at Ben, each in different angles as a test of reflex.

Ben bends backward, allowing the first blast to travel harmlessly where his head once was, and continues the motion by bringing his legs over him, doing a full backflip. He easily side steps the second of the lasers, then ducks under the third as he runs at Mimic. He leaps into the air, flips forward, and flies feet first toward Mimic's freakishly chiseled jaw.

Ben bends backward, allowing the first blast to travel harmlessly where his head once was, and continues the motion by bringing his legs over him, doing a full backflip. He easily side steps the second of the lasers, then ducks under the third as he runs at Mimic. He leaps into the air, flips forward, and flies feet first toward Mimic's freakishly chiseled jaw.

He fell to the ground, his head rebounding on the floor. Mimic grimaced in pain and massaged his jaw. He propelled himself to the air with the might of wings and, with the assumption of Ben’s agility through his innate mimicry, he froze the tips of his wings and began spinning like a top at Ben.

Using one leg to keep himself upright, Ben leans to the side, making a T shape with his body, bringing him lower than the extended wings. He quickly pivots on his heel, spinning backward, and attempting to smash his heel into Mimic's ribs.

The heel connected, and it hurt as Mimic started to bend backwards from the momentum. But upon contact, he utilized his cryokinesis and froze Ben from the heel to the leg, which spread to his entire body. Soon enough, the ice engulfed Ben entirely. It was thick ice and was quite opaque; one would not be able to see the figure inside where it not for Mimic immediately smashing the ice with a mighty kick.

“You’ve got so much space to work with, Ben. Don’t stay too close.”

Ben's teeth chatter as he kneels with his hands on the ground. His hands clench together while he starts to stand. Suddenly, he spins and throws several shards of ice at Mimic before leaping over Mimic's head and disappearing. While invisible, Ben silently sticks to the ceiling above and slightly behind Mimic.

“You spider guys are all the same,” he said as if he knew that Ben would be on the ceiling. He jumped upwards and now stood on the ceiling. The whole room was upside-down, but Ben and Mimic were all the more adept to fighting at any angle.

He fired and maintained a steady laser beam, flying back to the floor of the room and, jumping back up, feet first towards Ben back at the ceiling.

This battle was much more intense then any of the previous battles they had seen. Everytime Griffin thought the battle was over it started over again. Griffin knew his battle skills were no where near as good as Ben's. they were going to have to work on their battle techniques . Right now the only ability the could use against Mimic was their ability to manipulate light. Griffin had been working on a way to use light as a weapon. "Intense battle."

He was impressed with his new skill of fighting while hanging from the ceiling with his hands. But that was a trait not uncommon. He could do way more on this though, Mimic thought.

“The itsy bitsy spider hung up from the ceiling top. Up came Mi-Mic and pulled the spider down.” He grabbed Ben by the legs and pulled him down.

“Unlike the rain, Mimic doesn’t dry up,” he snickered saying this lane to Ben.

“Nice. Next one up, please. In fact, bring in the alien girl, Estella.”

Ben slams into the ground after being yanked down by Mimic and groans as he curls up in a fetal position. He slowly stands and chuckles, "So now you're referring to yourself in third person? I'm pretty sure only maniacs are allowed to do that...so I guess it makes sense that you would too." He exits the training room with a limp and says to Estella, "You're up."

Not looking forward to this Estella gets up and goes into the other room to face Mimic. She'd been studying most of the fights but so far he just seemed to thrash most everyone. The disconcerting part was he seemed to enjoy it a little too much.

Zack swallowed hard. He was tempted to not watch. He didn't know Estella well but she was one of the few people who had tried to get to know him. He didn't want to see her get hurt. Of course her abilities are alot different then everyone else's. Maybe Mimic would have a harder time copying them.

Kalinda had regained her composure, and looked as Zack swallowed. "She will be okay" she said softly to him, "I doubt the teachers are allowed to kill us. This is all to teach after all" she said trying to be reassuring. She had watched, and Zack seemed to have trouble seeing girls get hurt. She tried to smile reassuringly, and probably failed,

"Your right he can't kill her, but he can hurt her. And he can enjoy it." Zack shook his head. "I wish I had stronger powers."

"Hey, thats the whole point of coming to thjs school right? To become stronger" kalinda said, "how about this" she hesitated, "if he hurts her, I will heal her. But the thing about this whole friendshio thing is, you got to believe in them. Ive seen it, ive felt it, believing in people makes them stronger"

Zack considered Kalinda's words. He did believe that Estella would hold her own. He also believed Kalinda would heal her if she could. " We believe in what I know about her. We believe you will help her if you can, but We don't like this instructor and we will find a way to inflict so damage. And that's something I have never said before."
