"Then for no trust us. We will not let you fall to the ground." Griffin reassured her.

"If you do not want to explain, we will not make you. We can talk when ever you wish. Can we help you with something?" Griffin asked Estella.

Zack and Griffin were used to multiple personalities. But right now it was less that and more seeing how her new one developed. She was going to respond to Griffin when Malinda spoke up. "I just said I can't think clearly. Does that sound okay to you?" She snapped back in a irritated tone. Catching herself Estella raised her hands and apologized. "Oh I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get angry with you. I'm going through changes." She was a mixed bag of emotions. Happy, mad, angry, sad, scared, and confident. At the very least they were balancing each other for the moment.

Kalinda flinched, stepped back. Even with her blocks, she could feel tne turmoil of emotions. "I only meant to ask if you were hurt. I can heal, after all, I won't bother next time" she said softly, her own emotions stinging.

"It is never good when one can not think clearly. But we can not help with such unclear answers. If you wish to talk or need our help then we will be there for you." Griffin stated keeping a careful eye on Kalinda. Her worried how Estella's state would effect her.

Kalinda moved closer to Griffin, merely because itnwas a comfort not to sense, ornrather sense, very little from him, she took deep, steading breaths, and slammed more blocks around her existing ones. She didn't say anything else, but shd didn't look at Estella either.

Estella could tell that she was severely effecting Kalinda. Rather than continue she backed away and said. "Sorry Kalinda. My mind is a mess right now. I'll stay away until I feel better." Turning she ran back to where she left her ship. She would spend the night there. Shutting the hatch she lay down and went to sleep almost immidiately. Finally getting a proper rest Estella's minds came together further, sorting themselves out. Not even Estella knew how she would end up.

Griffin understood the need to be alone better then most, but he wasn't certain thatEstella should be alone right now. Still he had promised Kalinda. They knew where Estella was. They would check on her later.

Anthony lights two lanterns and sets them at the edge of the clearing to provide a little more light without detracting from the beauty of the stars. He pours Sue a glass of the wine before answering, "I've never been overly proficient in just telling about myself. I'll tell you a little about my life before the Academy, but if you'd like to know anything else, you'll have to ask." Anthony makes Sue a plate of food as he continues, "My mother died shortly after I was born, so my father handled most of the decisions concerning my upbringing. He ensured that I received top of the line education with an emphasis of the major empires and societies of history. Along with learning a great deal of world history, I was taught to the benefit of being multilingual, so I taught myself the Romance languages. I graduated from Yale at the age of eighteen with a Doctor of Psychology degree. After that, I spent a year in various South American countries, especially Argentina, simply enjoying the vastly different cultures. For the next two years I built a real estate business, along with various other business ventures." He begins to eat some of the appetizers that he had made for Sue earlier while waiting for the questions to begin.

Sue frowned at first when she heard about the death of Anthony’s mother, but then she giggled, taking huge bites of food from her plate and settled it down, come the impressive list of feats at such a young age. She signed to Anthony: ”Nerd.”

Sue expected only as much coming from the Luthor. The mortal man that rivalled a superbeing as powerful as Superman spawned a son, and he was just as talented as the old man was.

”I never knew my mom. I have no idea who she is. All I know is that whatever I don’t see myself from dad, I know my mom had it. Like my height! Oh, I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but underneath my red hair is a bit of natural blond hair from my dad! But I digress; tell me more about you. What do you like? What do you hate? What makes Anthony Luthor Anthony Luthor?”

Sue made advances to get more food from the basket, after finishing her plate in almost an instant. She sipped the glass of wine but set it down, shaking her head with a grimace.

Anthony chuckles at Sue's grimace and says, "I suppose it's an acquired taste." He pauses for a moment then responds, "I love knowing the way people think, what makes them tick, I suppose. I hate it when people with super powers look down on or ignore 'normal' humans like me. I'd much rather have knowledge than physical strength because if you know enough, you can substitute technology for brawn, but not vice versa." He eats a few bites and takes a sip of wine then asks, "Enough about me, however. Tell me about yourself."

He opened the door to the resturant. Another of his mothers rules to being a good gentleman, always open the door for a woman. She could spend time teaching him this, but not how to dance it seemed. Oh, he could dance the waltz, but so could any nimrod who could count to four.

"It looks like a nice place" he said, hoping his voice was steady. he still couldn't shake the nervousness that had come over him. It was worse the simple butterflies it his stomach-he felt like he had a whole damn cage of them in tnere.

He concerntrated on what he should do next, trying to keep from appearing nervous, and shy. And probably failing greatly.

They were directed to a table, and Connor pulled out and held a chair for Kijani, sitting down after she had.

He smiled, feeling somewhat less nervous now. "so" he said, "what raw fish would you recommend?"

Connor wanted to show Kijani a good time. He had been thrilled at her response to flying with him. It had been fasinating to watch her reaction in the air, Ignot controllimg the path.

He had never thought to hear her squeak. It was cute. Tough, but girly. That just about described Kijani well. He wanted to give her more of that amazement.

So, tonight, he was going to go above and beyond. Or try to. It wasn't like he had a lot of experience...well, any experience.., about dates.

He smiled at Kijani, it seemed like he hadn't stopped smiling all day, which he didn't mind at all.

Kalinda sighed, "I somehow cause trouble even when I dont mean to"

"No Kalinda it was not you. Something is wrong with Estella. We will check on it later. She needs time alone. Lets fly before it gets too late." Griffin replied reassuringly.

Kalinda nodded, but wasn't reassured. All she had wanted to do was help. With a sigh, she rose into the sky again

Griffin followed studying her flight path. "Balance your weight. Try to distribute it evenly on the air currents. Imagion you are a bird."

"That would be easier to do if I had wings" Kalinda said, grimacing, trying to shift her weight as if she were standing on the ground

"Maybe but you do not. Lay flat like you are... Laying in bed." Griffin suggested. Relax and float."

Kalimda tried so, but could not relax. She sighed, frustrated. And of course, fell. She threw her hands out, pushing off the ground with her telekinesis, to throw herself back into the air

"You must trust us to catch you or there is no point in us being here." Griffin scolded. " the fact that you can catch yourself should be reassuring."

"It was purely by accident" kalinda said, "what do you expect? I've never had anyone to trust!" She very nearly shouted this, but managed to keep jer soft, quite tone.
