Katherin wasn't sure about the wall. She had never done any climbing. She watched the others, trying to see how they got to the top. She wasn't surprised at how easily Jack got to the top. Well might well get her turn done. Waiting wasn't going to make it any easier.

John growls as he continues to struggle up the wall, "Try carrying a 185 pound weight on your back and climbing it without powers."

Ben sighs and nods, "Thank you." With a smile, he continues, "Did it help you at all?"

Anthony frowns and asks, "Was this newfound aggression coupled with either new abilities or more skill with the ones you have?"

Jack laughed. "Oh come on. You can do better than that, John." He said Looking at him. He walked back to the bleachers next to Katherin. "You'll do fine. It's not that hard." He said looking at her smiling.

"It was a weapons project. It probably has to do more with the mental conditioning for war." For now she seemed to have herself under control. Thankfully she'd retained some level headed tendencies from the mental fusion.

"Says the guy who can climb walls. At least not many people are throwing tennis balls right now. " Katherin replied

"For about two seconds, and then you started to freak out and now I hate myself" Kalinda said quite truthfully. "I'm fine"

Anthony frowns, "'Probably' doesn't answer my question. Please don't hold anything back."

Ben grins, "I wouldn't say that I 'freaked out'." He continues sadly, "I'm sorry that I wasn't strong enough to help you more." As he speaks, a frightening thought flits through his mind, "She shouldn't have to feel this pain, and she wouldn't have to if she was dead. I could end her pain so easily..."

Her expression went blank for a moment before she smiled slightly. It was now she realized that even she didn't know. "That's the best I can give you. I don't know how it works, just what it does. It turns the user into a loyal soldier who will do anything to complete their mission. Or at least it does to my people." She stopped briefly to see his reaction, if any. "It was a weapon used a hundred years before I was born. Their use was banned after the war they created. I had no idea any still existed until Ben and I found it in the ship that brought me here." Her expression told she wanted to say more but she didn't because it wasn't relevant.

Anthony temporarily drops the subject of Estella's change and asks, "May I examine your ship?"

Debating it for a minute she nods. Part of her newly aquired knowledge was the composition of the ship. She could take it apart and put it back together if she so chose. "I suppose so."

"It isn't a matter of strength" kalimda said softly, "emotions are damgerous, if you aren't made tk feel any but your own. Last night, I was able to draw emotions in, and then let them out harmlessly. But I don't know how I did that. I'll be fine. I always am" she manged to smile, managed to make it all seem like it was okay."because...0its okay to be afraid, amd tired. The real strengh lies in getting up again, and living"

"You could throw tennis balls at those that still need to climb. I'll go fall off the wall." Katherin waits patiently for John to finish hi climb.

Kat walked into the gym having opted out of changing - it would be a shame to ruin her long standing tradition of not participating in the ridiculous array of tortures on offer. Stopping at the sight of the wall, she looked up it only to shake her head and roll her eyes, walking around and continuing straight up to the bleachers. Throwing a ball was tempting but that would involve.. well, getting involved, so she settled with watching the scene instead but not with a huge amount on interest.

"You kidding? That is terrible. Throwing tennis balls at those poor people climbing is pretty mean. Heck it is hard as it is now." He said not joking. He would not throw those balls at people. "If the incredible Bulk over there would hurry up we could move on."

"Nope not kidding. The idea is probably to get us use to trying to accomplish a goal while being attacked. It makes sense. Your so impatient. You know you have to sit through the whole class right?" Katherin asked.

"Nah I'm just hyper. If Ben got out then so can we. Hang on a sec. " He tossed a tennis ball at John. "Come on faster!" He yelled laughing. "So what do you want to talk about. "

Austin grinned and said," might as well get this over with. Feel free to throw things at me." He walked up to the wall, moving to a spot that was clear. He looked up with a frown then launched himself five feet in to the air, rapidly jumping up again from the spot. He grunted as suddenly one of the handholds he was on jutted out. He grasped the handle with both hands, grimacing. He grabbed onto the bar and grabbed another set of handholds, rapidly jumping up again, quickly moving to avoid another handhold.

"Nah I'm just hyper. If Ben got out then so can we. Hang on a sec. " He tossed a tennis ball at John. "Come on faster!" He yelled laughing. "So what do you want to talk about. "

Katherin laughed. Jack was definitely hyper. It was good to see him bouncing again. "You don't want to talk, you want action."

Griffin was pleased to see people he did not consider friends on the wall. He gathered up as many tennis balls as he could and began throwing them hard and fast at those on the wall.

John is a mere three feet from the top when a foot hold just out, spamming into his stomach. He groans in pain as he falls to the mat below.

Anthony nods and replies, "Thank you." He leaves Estella behind and sits on a bleacher, watching the other students perform.

Ben shrugs, "I suppose you're right Kalinda." Ben helps Kalinda to her feet and asks, "Are you coming back to gym?"
