Watching from her perch atop the bleachers Estella rolled her eyes. She failed to see the point of this exercise. At least the climbing had some kind of pressure. After a moment she looked back down and noticed the new girl huffing and taking a seat. Seemed no one noticed her when she asked for a partner. Or no one acknowledged her anyhow. What was her name, Maxine? Might as well be nice and help her out. Stepping down Estella turns and says. "Care to play?"
Care to play? Who said that? Looking up Maxine saw Estella standing next to her. Well, at least somebody had noticed. Maybe she should try moping more often. She smiled and stood up. "Sure. Do you know how this works?" Shrugging slightly Estella looks at the pins. "Not really. Never heard of the thing until today. From what everyone else is doing we knock over the pins." Of course the realized how obvious that was but it was all the alien had.
With a curious expression Maxine asked. "But why?" Looking back with a blank expression Estella shook her head. "I have no idea. Doesn't make sense to me either. I'll start and you set up the pins like the others are." Nodding Maxine skips to the other end and arranged the pins and looks back at Estella. Taking one of the bowling balls she didn't miss a beat and went through the motions she saw. Flying down the lane it took out 6, 9 , and 10. Slightly disappointing the second ball followed and number 4 somehow survived.
