Anthony turns to look at Kijani, anger brewing as she insults his method of winning, his expression unchanging, however. He begins writing on a piece of notebook paper, then folds it up and hands it to Kijani. He returns to his seat, a cool and collected smile on his face the whole time.
The note reads:
Ms. Rayne
I've been working on a little speech to let our classmates know a little more about you. Please let me know what you think of it:
Ladies and gentlemen, have any of you wondered why Kijani was so terrified the first day we had this class? I'm sure at least some of you thought that the experience may have caused an old memory of her's to surface, and you'd be right. 'What was the memory,' you may ask. The memory was of the time she was kidnapped by men who were simply doing as her grandmother ordered.
Also, if you want to have any chance of finding out exactly why your grandmother had her people commit such horrible atrocities against you, you better apologize. If I don't think it's sincere, then you can forget about ever getting to the bottom of this affair.
-Anthony Luthor
P.S.
Apologize so the whole class can hear.
