When Sue tells Anthony that the others hate him, he replies, "There was a man named Martin Luthor King Jr., and he said this:
'We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love. There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us. When we discover this, we are less prone to hate our enemies'.
The reason I don't react in anger is because I recognize that one day I may encounter them again, and they might have the ability to help or hinder me. With this in mind, it simply isn't wise to hold grudges."

When he sees what Sue is signing to Connor, he reaches out and takes her hands in his, interrupting her. Once he has her attention, his eyes turn violet as he whispers soothingly, "Don't worry about them, just do your best when it's your turn. After all, they love you, they won't judge you." As he speaks, he wipes the tears away from her eyes and smiles warmly.

Sue

Sue wanted to say more, not in retaliation not just for Anthony’s sake, but for such an almost hateful attitude towards a person. She felt injustice with this and she was actually very hurt to see her own friends be like this. She still cared for them, no matter what, and could never hate them; she always saw or would look for the best in everyone, not excluding bad people.

When Sue’s hands were in Anthony’s, she wanted to pull away, but she did not resist – the force of her …love… for him was strong, and she knew that with him, she would be safe, and that there was peace again.

”Your eyes are purple. You look good in purple. I wonder what purple does…” her smile and gaze so dreary and soothed.

Anthony frowns slightly and says, "It's really frustrating to have a power that you can't control or even tell when it's active." He smiles again as he continues, "But if it's helping you somehow, then I don't mind."

Maxine just watched the chaos. But then everyone seemed to calm down all at once. That was better. All the arguing was ruining her mood.

A tear of black shed from her eye as her eye turned back to blue. "I can't control it when I'm angry Matt, I get so scared."She spoke quietly, still keeping her dark and mysterious look to anyone else who was looking at her.

"Well then we are going to have to learn how. I can try and help.If you need the help I mean." He said trying to cheer her up.

"It's not cheating if it's part of your power" Connor said, "and the needle wasn't really cheating. Just a cheap and lucky shot. I'm not prejudiced against Anthony because he is a Luther. He has just never do e anything to make me like him. It's his....arrogance he is has, that he thinks he is better then anyone else just because of where he comes from, the fact he has money, the fact that he thinks justbecausehehas a somewhat superior intellect that he should be put in power. And that's why people dislike him-he never does anything unless he can see gain for himself in it" Connor wasn't confident about his signing to sign all this, so he spoke softly instead, "honestly, he isn't worth the time to hate, and while he seems to care about you, all this still applied to the rest of us."

Anthony chuckles slightly as he thinks, "Saying I'm somewhat smarter than you fools is like saying the Hulk is somewhat smarter than the average human toddler." He refrains from saying this, however, due to The fact that Sue was in the room.

Chantelle nodded as she wiped away the single tear. Then, she switched and winked at Matt.
"No one in this god damn class has even noticed me. They haven't bothered saying hi, or even asking me who I am. They are getting in my bad books very quick."
The adrenaline ran through her veins still and she kissed Matt on the cheek before sitting on a desk, making a shadow form around the light to dim it. And making the windows fog up.

"They are like that. Keep to themselves or their cliques. It's nothing personal. They avoid new people if they don't know you. Happened to me. " Matt said looking out the window. Her powers were odd to say the least. He was glad he did not have any.

Chantelle looked at him and smiled devilishly but it made her look hotter yet more mysterious.
"I sense that, this is a stereotypical school. I wonder if a member of the school called Ben remembers me, i had a brief chat with him and one of his friends a night or two ago."
Ben was the guys name mentioned between them two males, the ones who had been involved with a killing. Matt wouldn't know but it would be interesting when the two boys seen her here. Just too make it more, amusing.

Mimic loudly claps his hands together once to regain everyone's attention and says, "If you're all done insulting each other like five year-olds, we can move on with the class." He points to Estella and says, "You're next. Pick your partner, space-girl"

With things suddenly back on track Estella stood up and looked around. Mimic so far had seemed rather disinterested with the fights which was odd. This was his idea wasn't it? But back to the task at hand. She points to Sue and smiled lightly. "Come on Sue. Lets show them how it's done."

“Oohhh, Sue? Well, this ought to be interesting. I don’t know if you were here when the “incident” (he extended this word longer than usual) happened, but I hope you’re ready! Everyone, let’s move to Sue’s very own training grounds!”

Sue

Sue felt embarrassed that Mimic had to praise her and her incident once again. She felt even more so with the advertisement of her training grounds. It wasn’t secret to begin with, but the fact that a student had to have her own football arena to train in, with shields strong enough to hold against an Atom Bomb attracted more attention to Sue than necessary, and it was not all good and appreciative.

Mimic exited the room, and soon Sue and Estella followed. Sue turned back once to look into Anthony’s gaze, to find and feel the sense of comfort and safety that she’d always felt with him. She was scared because even if she’d never personally seen enough of Estella, she knew she was strong and talented. Sue was going to have a tough time with her.

The walk to the training grounds led them out further away from the main campus; its location was opposite Sue’s old living quarters, a reminiscent thing, really.

The doors were swung open by Mimic, who flew in. Sue followed, knowing Estella was right behind them. They walked through a vomitorium which opened to the large football arena as described. Sue was used to this, but she knew that none of her classmates have ever been here. She wanted to turn around to see their reactions, but she was too nervous, to say the least.

Mimic yelled, from the middle of the many rows of seats: “Alright, ladies! The seats are also shielded with a force field, so nothing will hurt us. You may feel free go all out, but do try not to kill each other - especially, you, Sue.”

Sue rolled her eyes. Mimic didn’t die from the incident, and he did get hurt, but after nearly a half-year, one would have thought of forgiveness already. Sue breathed in and out; she now in the middle of the field, where the symbol of the Academy was large, and indicative lines for the positions was in a contrasting white against the green.

Sue patiently waited for Estella to get ready. Her fingers were mindlessly twiddling with the controls of her headphones, ready to adjust and control her music.

Katherin saw the class leaving the classroom. It looked like they were going to Sue's special gym. Katherin didn't want to miss her friends battle. Although she wasn't sure she was emotional ready to deal with anyone, she wasn't going to miss her friends sparring match. She carefully slipped into the back of the group.

Indeed Estella hadn't been there for the 'incident' she'd heard about. In fact she apparently came a day or two afterward. But she'd pieced together at least part of what had happened. And the enormous space they'd just walked in only served to prove a point. Sue's powers were of a different caliber than many she'd seen. The question now was would her versatility be able to overcome that.

With everyone else seated and Sue ready to go, Estella took off at a run to close the gap between herself and her opponent. Even up close it wouldn't be a walk in the park. From their other training Sue had shown herself to be quite agile. Hopefully now they would be able to see how evenly matched they were. Unless something came up to stop her Estella intended to raise her left leg and snap her foot for a quick shot to Sue's side.

John watched the confrontation in the classroom carefully, ready to step in if it escalated and put the female students in danger. John's racing heart returns to its normal rate as he began to feel calm all of a sudden. Next thing he knew, Mimic was shepherding them out of the classroom. John follows the line of students outside and takes a seat in the bleachers.

After Anthony and Ben sit in the bleachers outside, Anthony sits next to Ben and begins speaking quietly to him. While listening to Anthony, Ben closes his eyes against the glare of the sun, then begins smiling slowly, showing his fangs.

Sue

Sue watched Estella running. Instead of running, she stood her ground and with her arms, blocked the kick. She braced the impact, and with some effort pushed her leg back at the same time, giving her ample time to escape and run back to a safe distance.

She ran a good distance and her hands were now on the play button. The volume level was FOUR, the same volume level she used against Mimic the first time.

"And today’s song choice is…" Lying From You – Linkin Park

The start of the song was slow and almost creepy and it set the tone for her to turn around and stand in place. Around the 10 second mark, the song started, and its heavy rifting drums and guitar played, the music amplified with Sue’s ability.

Around her emanated pulsating soundwaves that made the grass flow away violently. Coupling with the loud, ear-piercing volume, her plan was to disorientate her, balance or mental state, and knock her out while barely able to maintain a thought.

Being the first time she'd experienced Sue's powers first hand she instinctively covered her ears. The initial push back of the waves made her step back and turn slightly. Before she let her concentration completely lapse she looked back to see where Sue was. These powers would be difficult with the sound able to travel in all directions at once. She was going to have to figure out how to counter this quickly before she was overwhelmed.

Sue

Sue saw Estella covering her ears. Even the girl from outer space was no exception to the guttural reaction to loud sounds. But she didn’t want to give her time to adapt. Sue started walking forward, moving herself, the source of the sound, closer to Estella, greatly increasing the now ambient music.

Though her facial expressions were wide-eyed, almost like a goldfish, worried for Estella, Sue continued to walk towards her, almost fearlessly. She hoped by doing this it pushed Estella further, possibly knocking her over, letting the soundwaves push her away.
