Devika wandered outside with the rest of the students. She was wondering what incident the teacher was mentioning. She settled into a seat, curious about the fight. Sue was even more curious. As far as she could tell, they were about the same age. But the amount of power in Sue was staggering...

Griffin frowned at the loud music. He wasn't sure he would be able to watch this sparring match. He moved as far back as the arena would allow. If this continued he would have to sneak out or risk damaging his gears. Since he needed his ears for the hunting exercise he had plan, it looked like sneaking out might be his only option.

Kalinda followed, trailing along behind everyone else. It seemed there were a lot of issues floating around. Which lead to high emotions. She settled in to watch the match, wondering why they had to love. Until the loud music that is.
Connor followed everyone as well

The push was getting stronger and Estella was quickly loosing her footing. Pushing off the ground and using a little wind she rode the waves away from Sue. The music blaring from the headphones was distracting and coupled with the powers bordered on erratic to what Estella was used to hearing. Gotta clear out this noise. Able to brace herself now that she was further away she lifted her hands away from her ears and turned her hands. Snapping her fingers she shook her head in a daze. Only Sue with her extreme sense of hearing could make out a sharp crack through the already noise filled room.

Planting her foot in the ground Estella waited for her vision to clear. That shock to her senses may have hear ears ringing but she still needed to deal with the waves of sound washing over her. One step at a time.

Sue

Sue jolted and stopped moving when she heard the snap. She raised her eyebrows in confusion. She knew where the sound came from: from Estella’s fingers, but for what for, she had no idea. Now, however, she knew: Estella was no longer covering her ears. The noise was not going to affect her as much now. Sue knew that the sonic pulses was still exerting her strength; she cranked up her headphones volume setting to FIVE.

She somersaulted forward once, and upon landing on her feet, clapped her hands behind her, she now launching herself forward. A moving, powerful speaker, she clapped her hands in front of her, a devastating soundwave formed. Surely, there was no way Estella can escape that.

Pushing herself two steps forward and waving her hands up the ground in front of her rippled. Buckling she forced it up as a barrier. Pressing close the shockwave crashed into the solid mound. Planting one hand against the mound she used the other to punch it and it burst apart propelling a scatter shot of debris toward Sue.

Sue

Debris was flying, shooting for Sue. Estella was very quick, but Sue knew not to overreact. The smaller debris never made it a good distance, instance propelled back by her soundwaves. The larger ones were more resilient, and went further before completely stopping in the air, dropping to the ground in a thud. And just in the nick of time too; the music had stopped, and it moved on to the next song.

Whip My Hair – Willow Smith

It’d been a while since she’d listened to the song, and Sue had a rush of adrenaline, mixing around and dancing to the song. She propelled herself forward with a clap to Estella’s right hand side. There were just a few yards away from each other, Sue veering wildly to the right, when Sue clapped her hands again to change direction, her arms apart, clothes-lining Estella hard. The blaring music made sure to concuss Estella, pounding her to the ground.

Being beaten into the ground Estella held her breath. With Sue practically standing over her she used the waves pushing the air and began to push more air with it. Rolling over she pushed her hands out, one to each side of her. As much air as she could move rushed away from them both. Now thinned the sound had very little to travel through and was weak. With only seconds to get this right she kicked upward lifting herself up onto her hands. Pivoting with her legs out she got the air swirling around them to keep the low pressure and rolled to her feet. The rocks and small bits of earth were picked up and whirled around making it hazardous to try and step out of the whirlwind.

Having leveled the playing field it was time to see who would go down first before the thin air got to both of them. Taking a stance Estella's body buzzed like a live wire.

Austin remained in the classroom, arms folded across his chest, scowling angrily at the wall. What Connor said perfectly described the reason that he hated him. Unlike what Connor said, he couldn't help but to hate him even if he shouldn't waste time on it. He shook his head and leaned back, waiting for others to return to the room, his claws pressing slightly into his arms.

As the volume on the music went up Griffin began making his way towards the exit to the gym. There was no way he was going to be able to endure much more. Which was really to bad because this was a very interesting battle.
Katherin wanted to cheer. She had never seen Estella battle and was impressed that she was holding her own well enough. Sue was doing excellent of battling with just sound. Katherin had seen Sue battle this way before, but it still amazed her that sound could do so much.

Sue

Sue’s music was not working. There was something wrong with the air, and she could feel it in her breath as well. Estella had thinned it out and now that they were in a whirlwind together. Panicking, she knew that it was a disadvantage to be frantic now.

Keep calm and carry on…, those words rang around Sue’s head, training from Iron Fist to control her emotions with her powers. She could use them in this time of need as well!

She stayed her ground, making economical, thrifty use of the last bit of air. The whirlwind was picking up speed, fast. She could not believe she was going to do this.

She took a step back and, with the fast speeds, she rode the whirlwind.

(Now to science)

Well that was unexpected. But Sue wasn't going to get away that easily. Jumping in after her Estella directed the torrent of wind downward. Sue wanted to pin her to the floor, she was going to do the same. Being close behind she just needed to use Sue as a ground. Even if Sue were to manage to land and not crash into the floor this should work. Letting herself out of the wind she flew over Sue and Estella reached out her hand. Waiting till her opponent touched the floor Estella let lose a bolt of electricity it went for the path of least resistance, that being Sue. She had no intention of doing permanent damage though, making sure it was all voltage and no amps. Still a shock like that would cause all the muscles to contract and feel like getting hit with a truck.

Sue

Sue couldn’t move. She found it hard to breathe, let alone contract a single muscle. Everything was in spasms. Her headphones fell off her head and landed a good way's away. She barely managed a thought, that if she could clap just one more time, it’ll push her away. But she couldn’t. She didn’t care if she lost or not; Sue just wanted it to stop.

Mimic

“Alright, Alright! That’s enough! Enough!”

Sue

“Please stop…” Sue thought to herself.

Mimic didn't even need to say anything because Estella had already redirected the wind to prevent any of the remaining debris from hitting Sue. Letting the air out of her lungs Estella landed. That was tough. They were both going to be feeling this one later. Walking over to Sue she dropped down and sat next to her. Taking Sue's hand gently she let a small charge pass across. It made Sue's body tingle but it relaxed her muscles and relieved a lot of the initial pain. "Sorry I had to do that."

Sue

She signed to Estella, but she knew that somehow she could hear Sue’s thoughts: ”You're so good. I shouldn't have gone too close… Good job.”

She walked over to get her headphones, unaffected by the surge of electricity. It wasn't going to be harmed in any way, even then, because it was built like that.

Mimic

“Alright, good show, ladies! Class dismissed! Exit’s to the left!”

Sue

Sue turned around to smile, just ever so gently, to Estella, before walking to Anthony, her arms open for a hug, ready to just pass out in his care.

Estella smiled back and noticed Mimic speaking. "You realize I can't hear you right?" Seeing that some of the other students were getting up to go it was a pretty safe bet that class was over.

Anthony had watched both of the combatants with interest, then when he see's Estella's powers, he chuckles, "Her powers would make it so easy to obliterate her enemies if she knew how to use them cleverly." Once the fight is over, he stands and makes his way through the seated students to the ground. He waits a few yards from the exit, waiting to congratulate Sue on her performance. When she opens her arms for a hug, Anthony reciprocated, enveloping her in a strong embrace. He leans down, touching his forehead to Sue's, and looks her in the eye as he says with a smile, "I told you you'd be fine. In fact, you were more than fine, you were amazing. You not only showed that you can use your powers with accuracy, but that you can also turn down their potential deadliness. Well done."

Ben mulled over what Anthony had asked of him. While he was confident that he could do it, he wasn't sure that he should. The man that Anthony wanted Ben to go after had definitely done horrible things in his life, but he seemed to have reformed. "I'll think it over more tonight," he thinks, "but for now, I need to focus on my next class." He begins walking leisurely toward Kraven's class.

Katherin was proud of her friend. She would have to congratulate her later though. Right now she needed to move quickly or she would be late for her next class. She walked as quickly as she could because her next class was a long way from Sue's gym.
Griffin saw the other students leaving the special gym. So he figured that the class must be done and it was time to head to the next class. So he started making his way to class.

Estella headed out to go to her next class. This lack of hearing was disconcerting. Perhaps she should look into using some of the telepathic technology on her ship to act as a middle man for moments like this.

Devika packed up her things and headed off to class too. She had tried to keep the amazement off her face during that battle. She'd never seen anything so wild in her life. Though, it was surprising. The smaller girl had won, in a clever way. She would have thought all the raw power that Sue threw around would have made things simple for her. Maybe not. There were all sorts of styles of fighting here. Maybe she could pick one up.
