"Sure. Not much reason to stick around here?" She stood up as well. Figuring Ben would be right behind her she turned and headed to the gym.

Ben follows Estella to the gym where he sits on the bleachers. After a few minutes of waiting in silence, he asks, "Isn't Professor McCoy usually here by now?"

Once Sue joins him, Anthony walks her to the cafeteria where they eat grapes and ice water. After breakfast, they make their way to the gym.

"Usually. But we are here before most of the rest." She checks the time on her watch. After some more time Maxine comes in and takes a seat.

John nods, "I know it hurts like hell when you're first starting, but of your body isn't burning, you're really exercising. Come on, just eight more. You can do it!"

Devika let out a little affirmative grunt, actually feeling encouraged. If he wasn't watching her, she probably would have quit already. She counted the sit ups in her head, struggling for breath. Six... seven... eight... "Ooof..." She slumped back to the ground, panting. "...ow."

With a broad smile, John says, "Good job" He sticks out a hand to help her up as he asks, "Are you ready for more?"

Ben watches as first Maxine, then Anthony and Sue walk in, still with no sign of the teacher, and begins to tap his foot impatiently.

Waiting as well Estella eventually sIghs. "Okay now this is definitely not normal for McCoy. We would have at least seen a substitute by now if he couldn't come."

Devika gave him a dubious look. "More? Well, ah... yeah, sure. I'm not dead yet, so... bring it on." She grinned nervously as she got up. "Please keep in mind that I'm human? ...mostly... I think."

Kalinda wanted to try something. She angled down,, and flew parallel to the ground, laughing as she snatched her pack up. She was surprised she hadn't landed flat of her face as she angled back up, and over towards the gym, landing with a grin. She walked into the gym

Connor sighed. He much prefered hot food for breakfast, but didn't complain as he headed to the gym, puzzling over the lack of staff.

He entered the gym, seeing no sigh of McCoy

Katherin was distracted by running later then usual so she didn't noticed the lack adults in the cafeteria. She simply grabbed an apple and eat it on the way to gym. She throw away the core just before entering the gym. Once in the gym she noticed that McCoy wasn't there. It was a school day right? Katherin looked around and noticed other students looking just as confused as she was.

Zack hadn't been at the school long but he found the lack of workers in the cafeteria odd. It made Zack uncomfortable.. Something must be happening. Griffin paced nervously within their mind. Zack wondered if the lack of adults was making Griffin nervous. What do you think is happening? Zack asked. Griffin shrugged uncertainly and continued passing. Well Zack figured there was only one way to figure out. He was going to as someone. If he could find someone to ask that was. With that idea Zack headed to the guy maybe the teacher there would know what was happening. Only when Zack entered the gym he didn't find the instructor waiting for them as usual. Just several confused looking students.

When the time came that the day was to start Kat made her way to the gym in no great rush. As she walked in it only took one quick glance around the room to note the continued absence of any sort of teacher or staff. "Well this is turning out to be a great day." She said with an easy smile, making her way further into the room.

After continuing his workout with Devika for thirty more minutes, John says, "That's enough for today. Now it's time for gym."

After watching people look around impatiently for fifteen more minutes, Anthony clears his throat and asks loudly, "If you people are tired of waiting, why don't you just go look for the teacher?"

"I can look. But I might get lost." said Maxine as she rocked back and fourth as she sat. She wasn't really bored though. Most of the time keeping entertained was not a problem.

Ben stands and walks next to Maxine. "I'll come with you so you don't get lost. Let's go," he says before leading the way out of the gym.

Austin walked into the gym, frowning deeply. He looked around, having noticed the absent of the staff, as well as a lack of a recent scent. He walked over to Connor and said," the scent of the staff is old... I can't track it. It's too diffused to be able to track it. It's strange. I don't like this..." He looked around, ignoring Anthony now. That would be the best way to keep calm around him.

Hopping to her feet Maxine follows. "Thanks. Maybe I can learn where things are a little better while we're are it." as they went they still weren't finding any teachers. "Think they're playing hide and seek?"

Ben laughs as he replies, "I highly doubt that they're playing hide and seek." He'a silent for a few minutes as they search the school, then asks, "Where are all of the other students?"

That was a good question. Maxine hadn't even noticed that there were less students as well. It was kind of creepy that so many people would just not show up. Inching a little closer to Ben, Maxine looks around. Still though she kept her playful tone. "Maybe they're already out?"

When others went off to search she rolled her eyes, making a noise of disgust. "Ugh, what good little sheep you are." She said, walking over to the bleachers and sitting down. "I wonder sometimes if you would be capable of having fun if your life depended on it." She finished, beginning to examine her nails.

Anthony raises an eyebrow at Kat's comment, then asks, "What is your idea of fun, pray tell?"

Ben shakes his head, "I don't know what's going on, but I think we should tell the others."

"Right. Sounds like a good idea." With that said Maxine turned around and began to back track with Ben.
