With no teachers to tell them what to do Zack was at a lose. He had never been in a situation where there was no rules. With so many people missing Zack was sure something bad had happened. If something had happened what could they do about it? And who would decide what they should do?

Katherin had a very bad feeling about so many people missing. This could not be a good thing.

Anthony chuckles, "So basically a stereotypical Nordic celebration? No wonder the Vikings loved your people. You can do everything they loved, but to a higher degree due to your physiology." He smirks slightly as he continues, "I suppose some humans are simply more refined than Asgardians."

Ben leads Maxine to the gym and stands in the middle of the floor as he announces, "We're the only ones on the campus. There aren't any other students or teachers."

"Now that is funny." She said, emphasising with a point of her finger. "Gods, that superiority rolling off of you, I could almost gag on it. I prefer the ignorance it is trying to mask though, much sweeter." She said it all with a smile as if every word he had said had amused her. She turned to look at Ben and Maxine when they returned and hearing what they had to say. Something was definitely wrong and undoubtedly some action was going to be taken, but any break from the monotony would be welcomed.

Connor frowned at Austin's comment "did anyone notice they were missing last night? Or were they all still here?" He asked, looking about

Kalinda sat down on a bench, pondering this predicament. She could feel the emotions of her classmates around her, but didn't try to feel anyone else from the school. She sighed. If the teachers were gone, she wouldn't get to speak with black widow.

Finally, she stood and said "they can't have all decided to go out for a cup of coffee. So something's happened"

Jack walked into the gym looking confused. He had no idea what was going on. His "therapy" with Bane had gone well. He felt better than he had in years. It felt good to let out all the emotions from inside. If John was so damn high and mighty then he would be better than him. Stronger and faster. Heck Dad could bench press 18 tons or so he was told.

He walked into the gym and towards the center of the gym. No more just sitting on the bleachers and doing nothing in his brother's shadow. Ben was just staing the clearly obvious. "It is clearly a test of some kind. To see how we would react in a situation like this. So let's all just thing about this." He said not really liking everyone just talking and milling about. He radiated confidence or so he thought. "So anybody who can, I don't know, sense people try to find if we really are alone." He asked the group.

Austin looked at over at Jack as he walked in. He listened to what he said and then decided to speak up. He said," my senses aren't infallible, but I have not smelled a fresh scent of any other student or staff. I also haven't noticed any noice coming from any other part of the school.

"And I didn't really pay attention walking here, but yours"Kalinda waved a hand over the class "are the only emotions I can feel right now. I didn't notice walking back last night from town if there was anyone else out and about though" she had been a bit distracted. "What about teachers offices? Did you guys look there? Or were they locked or something? I can open locked doors if so"

Ben shakes his head in response to Kalinda, "We checked, there wasn't anybody there." As Ben speaks, blur of movement streaks into the room. Without slowing, it circles the room, punching Kat in the face before speeding back out.

Well there went his theory. The two best at sensing this stuff could not sense or smell anything. He had been hoping either Austin or Kalinda could have found something. But that would be too easy for him and that just won't happen. "So no smells, no sounds, and no emotions... Okay that most likely rules out any kind of invisibility or phase shifting. That requires at least one of those three to be present." He thought for a second. "Well we were trained to figure out our problems and deal accordingly. I say we don't just sit here and do nothing. We should split up and or leave the gym. Try to find out what is going on for ourselves before what ever happened happens to us." He said looking at the group... Before something decided to speed in and start punching. "What the hell was that?! Some kind of speedster maybe? We need to catch thst thing!" He yelled as it ran out.

"What was that?" Connor asked, just about the same time Jack did, shrugging his pack off, holding it in one hand, frowning. He didn't like this. He agreed with the moving out though "Come on, we should move somewhere else" He said as he went over to see if Kat was okay, "if we stay here, whoever or whatever that was, will know where we are-we always have gym in the morning"

"Argh, shit!" She shouted out, her hands flying to either side of her nose. She applied a little pressure on either side to ensure it wasn't broken - luckily it wasn't - before taking them away again, twitching her nose and wiping away the automatic tears that accompanied a hit to the face. "Somebody tell me they saw who or what that was." She seethed despite their immediate reactions not suggesting they had much of a clue either; she gave her head a quick shake and a couple more rapid blinks before standing up. Waving her hand she dismissed Connor as he came closer to check on her. "I'm fine, gods, it was just a punch. Whoever threw it is the one who should be more worried."

Austin scowled and walked over to where he saw the blur run, searching for a scent to follow or recognize. His fur was on end, unnerved by what was happening. His body was tensed, wary of what else was to happen.

It had been too fast to get a lock on any emotion, but Kalinda joined Austin. She knelt, touching the floor, but beyond fleeting emotions quickly fading, there was the general emotions one would associate with gym. She stood, shrugged, and went to the door, looking out, ready to slip into the shadows if needed.

"I imagine to do any damage to them, you would have to catch them" Connor said in response to Kat's statement

Anthony chuckles slightly at Kat and sad, "Oh, she'll be fine. I imagine it would take a lot more than a punch from a speedster to seriously hurt her."

As Anthony speaks, the room gradually becomes noticeably cooler.

As the room got colder, Connor frowned. "A speedster, the tempurature's getting cooler...These are powers-some of the classes powers, right" He glanced about

Katherin frowned thoughtfully when she noticed the temperature of the room getting colder. That shouldn't be happening? Had the heater gone out? She looked around to see who else noticed the change.

Zack frowned the room felt different. He wasn't quite sure what the difference was but he knew something had changed.

"Then maybe I should just punch someone nearby instead, that would make me feel better." She didn't show any retaliation to Anthony's words, though she focused on 'speedster'. Yes, it had been someone moving fast, not a spirit or shadow, they were solid enough to throw a punch but fast enough not to be seen. It was then she noticed the chill in the air, frowning in confusion as she blew into the air, her frozen breath confirming the fact. Connor said her thoughts aloud. "Yes, but as it's not them.. Who is it?" She almost seemed excited by this new challenge, a twinkle in her eye as she looked around.

Jack put his hands in his head. "This does reek of a prank that Dad would pull off." He mumbled to Ben. " I don't think it is Mimic. He would be gloating and calling us names." He joked to the rest of the group. It could be their parents. The Speedster could be Ryan's father. The kid in question had slunk in and was standing against the wall. It was getting colder so maybe Katherin's father? "I say we move out. If it is our parents in some sort of test we should be in a larger area. Easier to fight in." Jack suggested.

Ryan flash ran out the door after the speedster. It could be his father right? A bad joke was so up his alley. Ryan was a biut slower than the Speedster but he hoped to catch him. Unless he veered off...
