If this was a test of some or all their parents they could be in serious trouble. Everyone's parents had years of experience fighting and they barely had any. They were going to have to work together if someone was testing them.

Katherin couldn't imagine her father agreeing to something like this. He wasn't the sort to pick on kids, even for educational purposes. He would have been more up front about what was happening. So it almost had to be someone else. Still the possibility larked in her mind. If it was her dad would she be able to fight him? Katherin stood to follow the others. Going outside would held could be an advantage or a disadvantage, but staying inside didn't seem the best idea.

The speedster leads Ryan outside, then turns a corner around the building. As Ryan follows suit, a large tree sprouts right in front of him, times expertly so he wouldn't be able to dodge it.

Ben walks over to Jack and says, "I don't think nearly the entire academy would be evacuated just to train one group of students. I'm going to look for the speedster." Ben walks out of the gym, his gym clothes morphing into his suit.

Kalinda stepped outside when Ryan chased after the blur of motion. She frowned standing in front of the gym. What was going on? She was pretty sure her mother wouldn't be bothered to come and torment her here. So...then, what was happening? If that blur was a classmates power, which obviously it was, and the cold of the gym...

Mimic had told her he could copy their powers from a distance. Could this be his doing, the schools? But then why would all the students be gone too?

She didn't know. She wasn't good at puzzling these things out. Was this a game of skill? Hunting? Without thinking about it, she allowed herself to slip into the shadows, then almost at once, slipped back out, turning to enter the gym again. "we need a perspective from the air" She said, "As well as from the ground"

He was so close to catching the guy when a tree appeared. In true fashion he slammed into it with a thud. He lost the speedster. Trees were not a speedster power..Could it be Phoebe? No it was not. He got up and did not even bother to give chase. He started towards the gym walking though.

Jack nodded. "Alright. You go. Somebody should go with him. I mean anyone who could find the speedster..." He said looking around. It was getting colder in here or was he making it up."I saw we all go. I mean half head towards the offices and the rest try to see hat is going on..." He said motioning towards the door.

Katherin didn't like Jack's idea at all. Splitting up always ended badly. Hadn't Jack ever watched Supernatural or Scooby? Every time they split up bad things happened. "I don't think splitting up our strength is a good idea."

Kalinda nodded, "I can go into the air, with Griffin and Connor. That's all that can fly, right?" She said "The rest could be on the ground, but we can't all be close together-one major attack and if we are bundled up close to each other, we all go out. so together, but separate"

"If I can get to my room, I've got communicators" Connor said thoughtfully, "If we are going to be on the air and ground, it would be nice to know everyone's okay. I don't think we should stay in the air long-there's people out there with our powers. So we need to be smart, unpredictable. Or just not have a plan at all, and wing it"

"Yes this is a better plan. Have some in the air and some on the ground. Close enough to support each other, but far enough apart that we have room to fight." Griffin nodded approvingly. He changed into his yeti form. His senses would be stronger in this form and he might be able to detect an attack with the added advantage.

Estella stood up and walked down from the bleachers. "So then, if were moving together then we should get outside. Inside we are at a tactical disadvantage. We need the option to retreat should things go wrong. We should all head to the nearest exit where we're less likely to be cornered. We can make our way to the boys dorm and retrieve Connor's communicators."

Anthony watches the others try to figure out what to do, and asks, "What would our fearless leaders have me do? If I remember correctly, I can't fight without cheating."

"You can help try to figure out what the hell is going on" Connor said, making his tone neutral, "like everyone else. We all have our strengths and weaknesses, right, so how about you use your brain for something useful for now"

He unzipped his bag, letting his suit unfold

"Except for a few things. Circling the wagons means that it will be easier to find us and hit us with more power. There has to be a group working this. I say a few of us break off. I don't know. "Me and whoever else wants to go and try to figure this out. Anthony, we could use your brains for this. Desperately." He told the guy. He was not going to be told what to do right now.

"More power is better. But you must do what you feel is right.' Griffin argued as he headed outside. He hoped most of the group chose to stay together. He didn't like the idea of not being able to keep an eye on his friends. He might not know everyone but they were his team and team meant working together to accomplish a goal.

Katherin shook her head. She wanted to go with Jack but the weird apeman had a point. They shouldn't spread their power out too much. What if someone got hurt or worse what if someone else disappeared.

Kalinda headed back outside and was in the air in seconds. She let her senses spread, trying to pick up emotions other then her classmates.

"If you insist on splitting up, then it needs to be done so in power groups, right? Not personal choices. Some of us are stronger then others, so if we split up, we need to balance that out, but I think together we can work better-unless we have a good plan" Connor said

If one of our groups gets attacked or forced into moving in an unexpected direction then it is less likely for us to regroup. Phones can work but are not good for instant communication. We will be blind to each other. And if you do discover what's happened then you will not be able to relay the message."

Well this group was clearly prepared for situations like this. Summoning her spear she spun it in her hands as she watched them go round in circles and just generally disagree on every important point. If they could not form any semblance of a plan soon this could go catastrophically wrong, at least she would have a good view and an easy escape if that was going to be the case.

He was getting sick of everyone piling up on him. They were willing to follow him till Katherin spoke up. "Except Connor said he has communicators. We use those. We group up and whoever this ius attacks and destroys us. Easily. Or failing that we grab some. There problem solved again."

"Another problem-I know where they are and what they look like" Connor said, frowning. What was going on? It didn't make sense when you tried to put it all together. He now doubted it would be their parents. But then, what? Or who?

You know I would follow you if your plan made sense. Do I don't like the idea of being on my own with an unknown enemy. This person is either like Mimic and can do everything we can do or is part of a large group. Either way being spread out is dangerous."
