Katherin bite her lips unsure what to say. She had the information that Phoebe had left them in the note they had found. Still if her friend had wanted to the school to know where she was Phoebe would have left them a note as well. Not wanting to lie, Katherin stuck as close to the truth as she could without saying everything. "Only rumors."

Mr. Wayne looks at Katherine intensely and warns her, "In the future, don't withhold information from me when I ask you a question." Now looking at both of the girls, he continues, "Phoebe's mother, Poison Ivy, came here one night and convinced her to leave the Academy. I've located them and I would you two to come with me and convince her to return."

"If you know where she went why bother asking?" Katherin snapped. Adult did the weirdest things sometimes. Why waste time asking a question he already knew the answer to? Surely he didn't think they were going to give their friend over to him? Did adults think teens had no sense of loyalty? "Of course we want to help cinvince Phoebe to come back."

Bruce leans back in his chair and says to Katherine, "Leave." He looks at Sue and signs, "You may stay."

"Oh no you don't. You might be in charge but you don't get to dangle my friend in front of me and then dismiss me. I shouldn't have snapped, but you have to admit your wasting time asking questions that you know the answers to." Katherin replied not moving.

With a sigh, he says, "Just wait in the hall. After I'm done talking to Sue, you may come back in and I'll speak to you alone."

"Waste of time." Katherin mumbled as she walked out of the room.

"Your friend is awfully dramatic, isn't she?" Bruce asks rhetorically. "Judging from her body language and what she said, I assume that Phoebe told you where she went. Did she tell you why she went though? And if not, did she express any sign of wanting to leave the Academy, prior to her disappearance?"

Austin nodded then grinned," thanks. I'd be will to help you build it. Or the claw idea you can up with. Don't want you to build stuff for me without my help." He grinned slightly and shrugged, folding his arms. His tail flicked slightly as he stood there, watching Connor.

”I do have an idea… but I am not sure if she would want me to say it. I’m just curious as to why a particular focus on Phoebe? I mean, I love her and all, but if you wanted her back why isn’t she back already?” she signed, already missing the company of Katherin.

Kijani calmly finished her sequence, and came gracefully to a standing position. The sword she lay neatly across her palms. Then she looked Anthony dead in the eyes. She was watching to see if his eyes really did change color... "Speak."

Standing off to the side Maxine listened. She would offer to help too, but she didn't know the first think about creating things. More than likely she'd just get in the way. After a moment she looked around for something to do, lost.

As Bruce looks at Sue, his eyes begin to water almost imperceptibly. "If you must know, she's my daughter. It's well within my power to have gone and taken her back by force, but I don't want to do it that way. I want her to choose to stay here, but I want it to make it as hard as possible for her to say no. That's where you and Katherine come in. So please, if you have any information, please tell me. It's possible that you, as her friends, know more than I do."

Anthony nods slightly, "Thank you. I'm almost to the point where I've gathered enough evidence to confront my father and then your grandmother. I'd like you to come to my house so I can go over the details with you."

Connor smiled "alright then. I can make some plans, probably better to go for a small device for each ear" he said, already thinking about ideas and possible plans

Once the simulation, John shoots the glaring Ben a broad grin before strutting out of the door. While he wasn't happy that he knocked out a teammate, he had done so with one no powered punch, which was awesome. With no other plans for the evening, as usual, he heads to the g for a quick workout. He stops by the locker rooms to change into a pair of gym shorts and a short sleeve shirt. Once properly clothed, he walks into the workout room where he sees Kalinda using the weights. "Hey Shorty," he says, "need a spotter?"

Kijani's expression was a mask of calm. "Very well. When?" She paused, thinking briefly. "As I'm currently sans-powers, I'm going to need transportation." Something told her Anthony didn't live anywhere near a subway stop.

Devika looked around, still somewhat scattered from the simulation. She spotted a blonde curl with corkscrew curls, and decided to be social. After wandering over in her direction, she paused before speaking to her. "So... what'd you think of that? What a rush, huh?"

Kalinda paused, blinked "a spotter?" She asked with a frown "what the heck is a spotter?"

Realizing someone was talking to her Maxine turns around to see Devika. She smiled but her expression showed her confusion along with it. "A rush? I know it was really weird and... confusing."

"A spotter is someone that stands behind you and, if your arms lock up or look like they're about to give way, grab the weight from you. It's a safety thing, any time you're bench pressing, you should have a spotter." John explains.

Anthony smirks slightly, "Ah, I almost forgot about your lack of powers. Remind me, what was it punishment for? Fighting your boyfriend's battles?" The smile fades as he continues, "Regardless of why you don't have your powers, I'm more than happy to give you a ride. That is, if you can bare sitting next to me for forty minutes."

"But what happens if your spotter can't manage the weight?" Kalinda asked then felt stupid since what she was lifting was small. "Sure, why not"
