Realizing someone was talking to her Maxine turns around to see Devika. She smiled but her expression showed her confusion along with it. "A rush? I know it was really weird and... confusing."

"Well, that too. But... I suppose it's adrenaline I'm feeling, still. Even after the confusion, and feeling like I'm being duped."

Anthony smirks slightly, "Ah, I almost forgot about your lack of powers. Remind me, what was it punishment for? Fighting your boyfriend's battles?" The smile fades as he continues, "Regardless of why you don't have your powers, I'm more than happy to give you a ride. That is, if you can bare sitting next to me for forty minutes."

Kijani didn't rise to the jibe. Mostly because Anthony was wrong for once. "Actually, I was told it was because I hit someone for my own pleasure, and rather not in defense of my friend." She smiled, all teeth. "Still worth it to see John bleed." The smile dropped, though. "I suppose I will submit myself to the... pleasure... of your company if it means information. When do we leave?"

"Oh. I got knocked out by the loud sound because I had Austin's ears. Sooo loud." Maxine covered her ears a bit, even though she no longer looked like a tiger and it wasn't very loud in the room.

Anthony speaks briefly, "Immediately. If you need to gather your things, do so quickly, I'll be in the parking lot." With that, Anthony walks out of the room and goes straight to his car. He gets in, starts the car, and waits for his lackey to arrive."

John nods, "I guess I can understand that." After a few seconds of silence, he asks, "What'd you think of that BS? You did pretty well, from what I saw."

Austin nodded slightly then said," alright. Thank you." He smiled at his friend, looking at Maxine as she talked to Devika, tilting his head slightly hearing their conversation. He then looked at Connor again. He said," I would say good job of the fighting, but I couldn't see or even hear the last part of the fight." He shrugged slightly, grinning at his friend.

"I tried to, but Everytime I tried to help it seemed I was ignored. Or rebuffed. I didn't like it. Everyone was scattered. And then the rage....I never want to feel anything like that again." Arms starting to burn, she put the weight down. And sighed

Kijani put the sword away, and rushed back toward her room. She freshened up, getting clean clothes on and snatching up her laptop. With a few essentials packed, she headed out to the parking lot. A quick search for the priciest luxury car brought her to Anthony. She opened the door and threw her bag casually on the passenger side before she got in herself. "Once around the park, Jeeves." She couldn't resist a bit of mouth.

Ryan figured that walking around might solve his problem. Well solve the drama. He might need help... He wandered around till eventually he found someone. Zack? Griffin? Split personality disorder? He had no idea since he had never really talked to the guy. He walked over and said. "Uhh hey. Sorry but I have no idea what your name is. Ryan Allen is mine. " He smiled weakly.

As Anthony waits for Kijani to arrive, he sends a text to Connor saying, "I'll keep Kijani safe for you tonight. We'll be at my place for a few hours, so she'll be in good hands..." After Kijani gets in the car, Anthony chuckles at her comment and retorts, "Oh sweetie, you didn't have to get all dressed up for me. What you were wearing was fine." Before he pulls out of the parking space, Anthony asks, "From what I can tell, you and Connor have a blooming relationship. Will he be ok with you being alone with me?"

John shrugs, "You did better than me. All I did was knock out Parker." He waits for Kalinda to move away from the bench and begins to put weight after weight on the bar. ONce there are six hundred pounds of weight on the bar, John slide underneath and begins pumping out reps.

Austin reached over and lightly punched his friends shoulder," Cheer up, at least it was a battle situation, and unlikely to happen at all in the future in real life. At least you weren't affected by that rage and attack a actual person, I assume that was Anthony's doing. Maxine and I were at each other's throats. We might have killed each other if it wasn't for the sound blast."

We? Unless he was some sort of freaky British Royal things were off with this fellow. Ryan smiled and shook his hand. "It's great to meet you Griffin. Sorry, I've been in a funk these last few days or I would have done this earlier. " He said as he let go of his hand. "So want to hang out or something?" He asked not his usually bubbly self.

Kijani looked nonplussed. "I have too much class to hang around anyone while I reek of sweat." To his question, she lifted her eyebrows. She could tell Anthony was trying to unseat her, but it wasn't working. "That depends... Is Sue going to be okay with you being alone with me?" A smile played at her lips. "Or perhaps this whole thing is an elaborate ruse to get me alone and all to yourself." She gave him a simpering look and lay her hand on his upper arm. It was a serious flirt... for about three seconds before she started laughing. "Oh, god, I still can't pull that shit off..." She shook her head, removing her hand and cracking up. "I'm sorry, that was bad. Seduction is not my strong point."

"Well I mean like, I had his cat ears and things." Judging from Devika's expression she wasn't doing very good at explaining. Giving it another shot Maxine started over. "I change into part animal when I touch one. But with Austin it's different. I get all the fur and stuff so I'm like a girl version of him." That sounded better, at least she thought so and she smiled waiting to see how Devika would react.

"Yes hanging out is an excellent suggestion. We are not familiar with much of the area but I believe there is a decent hang out place not far from here." Griffin suggested.

Anthony replies with a straight face, "Well obviously. I was only ten, maybe fifteen percent aroused at most." He begins to slowly pull out of the parking space, giving Connor time to read his message.

"Mmm. I'm surprised youanahed to do that, given that Jack kicked your butt. Maybe Ben isn't as skilled as Jack, but I doubt that. I'm not going to spot for you since I will break my back if I tried to even budge that" Kalinda said, as she proceeded to a weight thing for her legs. No idea what the name was, or really even how to use it.

"I think my suit negates his power, for which I am greatful" Connor said, checking the text when his phone buzzed. Kijani could take care of herself quite easily, so he wasn't too sure what to reply. Thinking how to, he said "There has to be some way to stop his powers from effecting everyone though. A serious disadvantage really"
