Flood continued to walk around but instead changed course to the gym. He walked in and sat down. He took another look at his compiled notes and frowned. It didn't make any sense. He needed someone like Connor to help him. With their combined intelligence, they might have a chance of getting a lead.

Kijani was in a daze, though she was trying to tell herself she was meditating. It was all she could do, as her body was all but useless currently. Her limbs were lead from the paralyzing toxin in her reins. Even if they weren't, the shackles and chains pinning her to the cold wall of the truck they were traveling in would have hindered her almost as well. Once again, she thanked herself for putting so much thought into meditation. It was the only thing keeping her sane. She was scared, yes, more than she cared to admit. But she could tuck the fear away for later, when she wasn't in so much trouble.

The truck rolled on, and she waited, silent, for the destination ahead.

---Hours Later---

The first thing Kijani realized upon waking was that she'd fallen asleep. Somewhere between reciting poetry in her mind and trying to keep her mind away from fear, she'd genuinely rested. It wasn't much of a loss- her body couldn't get any stiffer, and the guards escorting her were too smart to talk freely.

The second thing she realized was that the truck wasn't moving anymore. They had stopped somewhere. The third thing she realized, when her eyes adjusted to the dimness of the area, was that she wasn't in the truck at all. The last thing she realized, right before a wave of terror rolled through her and disrupted any further thinking, was that she knew exactly where she was now.

Faint halogen lights overhead gleamed off of metal surgical instruments. The room was uncomfortably cold, the air from above on full blast. All around her, the smell of copper and bleach permeated the air.

Kijani let out a low sob and shut her eyes, tight, trying to will away the memories starting to flood her mind. β€œNo.” Nauseating terror roiled through her body, and on her right side, an old scar full of bad memories started to burn with fresh pain.

She was back.

Anthony frowns slightly at Kat's words and the fact that she didn't stay long enough for him to respond. However, he pushes it to the back of his mind as the Academy's "fearless leader" calls him in. Anthony puts on a blank face and sits before being offered a seat. He attempts to give Mr. Wayne a mostly emotionless face with only a hint of sadness as he asks, "Thank you, but don't you think it's a little soon to make me relive it?"

Austin chuckled softly at her and said," I'm trying , not easy but I'm slowly making some progress." He glanced at the time," I think we should head to gym." He began to stand up, watching her.

He chuckled softly at her and began to walk to gym, looking around a bit as he did. He then said," so, what do you think about Lex Luther being killed?"

Kura shrugged. "How would I know? Never heard of him or met his son... Anthony, was it?" she paused when she heard her phone ring. "Hm?" she answered it. "γ‚‚γ—γ‚‚γ—οΌŸζΌ«ζΉ–γγ‚“οΌγ―γ„....γ„γ„γˆ...γ‚γ‹γ‚ŠγΎγ—γŸ...γ•γ‚ˆγ†γͺら." and with that, she hung up. "Looks like I'll be having to pick something up today..." she said, laughing. She looked back at Austin. "Sorry about that. Like I said, I never really knew or heard of him, sooooo... Yeah."

He nodded slightly," ah, alright." He glanced at her as her phone rang. He listed carefully, trying to pick up any words. He said," right... Well I recognized the hello part. That's it." He chuckled softly, sliding his hands into his pockets.

β€œBelieve you me when I know the solemnity and utter despicable feeling of loss when it comes to the death of family. However, considering the circumstances of the peculiar and striking details of the event, it spawns the need to relive it again and fully understand the situation. While the news and authorities think it is the serial killer Thanatos that did it, I have other possible answers.

It is only fair for your father.

Now, first and foremost, knowing your father as a master tactician and theory-crafting, who do you know, among his plethora of enemies, would be able to discern and combat perhaps one of the most-ever technologically, heavily-guarded bastions and his elusive, deceptive evasive techniques?

Who among them practically knew your father by heart and mind?”

Anthony runs his chin as if focusing intensely on the question. After a few minutes of silence, he looks up and says, "It would have to be someone that my father either meets with or does business with on a regular basis. That's the only way his lookouts throughout the city wouldn't alert him of trouble. Honestly, the most likely suspect would be me, but I was otherwise...occupied. The LexCorp building was a joint construction project between my father and Mr. Stark. Although some of the security systems have changed, the majority are still the same. Knowing this, Mr. Stark would likely be able to disable most of the security features. The person my father had the most respect for was you, make of it what you will. Are we done here?"

A nod, so subtle but so supporting, but in a way that not regarded Anthony’s words, but confirming his own ideas, nodding to himself in conclusion, then he opened his eyes and looked at Anthony, for his final thought:

β€œOne last issue: Your father left a void in what is a vital position in not only an interdependent, essential corporation, but also in the administration and faculty of this Academy. While it is not in my intention to overburden a student with further obligations, which is not to undermine your capabilities as your rich student profile suggests, you are not short-listed when it comes to being one of your father’s possible replacements as Treasurer of the Academy of Heroes and Villains.

Again, my condolences for your loss - you’re dismissed.”

As the students entered the gym for class, they would find McCoy, standing in the middle of the gym, with three courses around him. He waited until all the students were assembled, before saying, "Right. Today you are going to be undertaking three stages of a fitness test. I assume you are all familiar with the beep test. The next is an illinois agility test, basically, you follow the cones , and finally, the third is a simple balance test, walking across the beam you see behind me" He said, "You may begin"

Flood yawned and passed all of the tests quite easily. He then sat back down and studied his notes. "I need to take a break. Let's take a look at my design notes." He remarked as he looked at his sketch. "Phobia. Yeah I like that idea."

Devika had come to class in full cover. Long sleeved shirt with a turtleneck, gloves, long pants with boots. Barely any skin showed. Even so, she was wary. Her face was still unguarded, and creepy Gretchen had grabbed her cheeks. There wasn't much she could do, though- if that girl tried it again, Devika would just have to deal with it personally.

Gym was going to be another thing. That test with the beeps and the running, that wasn't going to go too well. The cones might be slightly better. The balance beam? Perhaps. With a mild grunt, she got up and got at it.

The beep test was all but disastrous. She switched directions too fast at one point, and wound up on her butt. But for once, she got up quickly and got right back at it. The cones fared a little better, though she did knock over one. The balance beam proved surprising- she had better balance than she thought, and was able to walk the length of the beam without so much as a stumble. "Hm. One out of three, not terrible." A slightly satisfied smile graced her face, as she headed back to the bench.

She recognized Flood from a distance, but the uniqueness of his emotional patterns would have identified him even if she hadn't been looking. At a careful distance, she sat nearby, peeking over as she removed her glasses and wiped the sweat from her face, then returned them. "...that's an interesting mask."

(Not sure i understand either test. So I'm going generic)

Katherin listened to the instructions carefully. She wasn't sure what they point was, but it wasn't the first time she had done something that didn't make sense to her. With a shrug Katherin attempted the tests. The beep test was harder then she had thought but she made it through with only a few problems. The test with the cones wasnt really much of a challenge. Although she did end up gong the wrong way once. The balance been was the easiest test.
Zack studied the tests. Well this was an odd challenge. The beep challenge took both him and Griffin working together to get through. It was a good thing they were use to working together or they may never have finished. The cones were very simple. Zack was through the course with an impressive score. The balance beam was more challeging then he thought it would be. They were not use to trying to balance their weight that way.

Nacelle ran into gym class with a sigh, she looked around, listening carefully to the instructions given before deciding to take the test. She took the beep test fiirst, which was all about timing and skill. She had both so it was simple enough.

The Illinois test was very simple, and yet she had trouble with it because of her injuries that she couldn't control. With a sigh she finished the test as quickly as possible.

The balance beam was amazingly easy, she ran over it with cat-like grace, never missing a step. She was done, and so she relaxed.

Phoebe had done similar things in highschool phys.Ed. She always hated the beep test, but went through it, smiling as she realised she had improved on it since the last time she had undertaken it. So maybe it wasn't that bad. She went through the agility test, dodging the cones so that she didn't know any off.

Phoebe had always been graceful, and well balanced, so the beam test was easy. She enjoyed that one the best, and jumped off the beam happily.
Connor reluctantly put his phone down, and started with the beep test. He used his long strides and his own speed to successfully complete the test, moving onto the agility test, where he did knock over a cone or two. The beam was the worst. Connor wasn't exactly graceful, nor was he balanced when he was made to walk on a beam.

He fell off half-way over, catching himself. So he needed to work on balance. Maybe he could build something that would work. He mused on that a minute, before returning to his phone.
Kalinda was better a cross track running then stopping and starting, but she had good endurance. So she felt she did well on the beep test, but knew she needed to work on speed up fast to begin with. The agility test was easy. Being a dancer for seven years had enabled her to change directions quickly, so she didn't knock over any cones, and the beam test was the best. She chuckled, then went back to making shapes with shadows

Austin smiled and nodded, entering the gym in time to listen to the instructions. He watched several people go through the tests, figuring out exactly what he had to do. He walked to the start, or at least what to appeared to be the start. He kicked off his shoes, flexing his claws on his feet. The turning would be relatively easily. He began, running much lower to the ground then most. His arms, if they were straight, would have nearly brushed the floor. At each turn, he would drop into all fours as he reached it, his claws digging into the floor and tearing it up as he would turn and run. As the time got father, he seemed to get lower to the ground, occasionally running on all fours before switching but to his two legs. When he would switch to being on all fours, his shoulder blades would change their position into the more catlike before moving back when on two legs. Soon, even his enhanced speed couldn't keep up with beeps. By the time he finished, the ground was badly torn up by his claws, and he began to remove bits of wood from around them, resisting the want to lick them clean.

Next he moved to the agility test, this time remaining on all fours for the majority of the time. While he didn't like quite natural as he did, it worked. He quickly completed the course, once again the floor clawed a bit by him. And last, the balance. He stepped on it, his claws retracted. He then travelled over the bar, eyes narrowed. It was relatively easy, though silently wishing he was a leopard, who spend most of their times on branches, quite unlike tigers. It was probably his hardest one to complete.

"I've been working on this for a while now. It's my hero or villain persona. I call it Phobia. I would be like Scarecrow, but a bit more sophisticated. Fear has always been a very unique interest of mine. The psychology of it is fascinating. This mask is going to be designed so that a stare from it can bring forth your worst fears." Flood explained as he sketched out the mask a bit more adding in a lighter shade of red in certain areas.
