"I've got a good spot." Flood interjected as he got up and began walking. He led them to an abandoned class room that looked like it hadn't been used in a while. He opened the door and walked in.

Devika grinned in response, showing dimples in her cheeks, when she got the tiny smile from Nicholas. That was a nice reward. She took her snacks and followed Flood, looking around the classroom. It was a bit dusty, but it would do. Running her gloved hand over a chair to wipe it off, she settled down. "...Alright, gents. What do I do? Also, we've got Power Development in a bit." She gave Nicholas a sympathetic look. "It kinda sucks for people who don't really want to go the hero or villain route, or don't have really strong powers. But it's mandatory, and I don't want to get in trouble."

Nicholas was right behind them studying the room and the tables around them,"Just take a seat and I will start the experiment" He spoke in another monotone voice turning his emotions off.He took out a small aerosol can now standing in front of her and in his other hand was a syringe to knock her out if needed.

Flood walked around closing all the blinds and anything that might alert anyone of human experimentation. "Just to let you guys know, the room isn't exactly soundproof. If you scream, people will be coming. If people are coming I will be jumping out the window. I'm not getting caught." Flood warned them.

Nicholas sighed moving the spray can close to her face pressing down on the release to spray the gas in we face,It would take a few seconds for it to work in his heart he wanted it to work so he could improve on it them his father could see him as a equal.But another side of him told him it was wrong but that side was quickly dismissed of anything it spoke of.

"How are you feeling and please tell me in detail..." He spoke wanting to know for his research.

Devika made sure she inhaled a good bit of it, and felt the telltale signs of fear starting to course through her body. Her breath quickened, her heartbeat rose, her teeth clenched. But...

"I know the feeling of fear. My breath is fast, my heart is thundering. My muscles are going tight." She opened her eyes, and they were completely normal. Her voice was calm as well. "The reaction is very... chemical, but I don't actually feel any fear in my head. Just my body." A faint shrug lifted her tense shoulders. "Maybe it's not strong enough for me. I'm certainly not hallucinating anything, either."

Connor nodded, "You could always tell mimic you're tired from being healed" He said, as he found out that the bookcase wasn't that heavy, without books in it, so he righted it. "it doesn't seem to be too bad" he said, "Or I can just say I knocked on your door and there was no answer and that I didn't want to wake you"

"Not a problem. Off we go to Powers Development." Flood stated as he pressed a button on his belt. He blurred out of view as he turned invisible. They would both feel taps on their shoulders and then Flood would leave the room to head to Powers Development.

"I can still smell you, Flood! You can't mask that!" She called after him as he left, then stretched slowly, shaking off the physical feelings of fear. Standing up, she brushed the dust from her clothes and smiled. "Come on, Nicholas. I'll show you where to go." She headed out of the classroom and made sure Nicholas was following.

"Mimic is the teacher for Power Development. He's kind of an asshole, but what can you do..." She shrugged a bit. "Also I'm pretty sure he still doesn't like me after I made him have a breakdown the first day here."

"I could do those things, yes..." She grabbed one of the shelves, and started to fit it back in. "However, I really don't want to give Mimic, or any other adult, any excuse to come checking up on me. I guess I'll go with you. It'll be easier."

Nicholas was right beside her looking at his surroundings and at the students looking back at him to be meet with a blank look making them back off.

Kaiden watched Kalinda move away from him, his hands clenching the extra fabric of his sweater that hung over his wrists. "Ok" Kaiden responded, not sure this would work. He had tried to focus on his teleportation before and hadn't had much success. Kaiden stared ahead at Kalinda, meeting her eyes and observing her smile, not blinking. He smirked a bit, thinking how funny this seemed for a moment, then focused back in on what he was trying to do. He stared hard at Kalinda, his mind racing with thoughts and all about her. He thought back to when he first had arrived and all the different students he met; she was definitely one that he enjoyed being around with the most. His thoughts brought him to the comfort she gave him as he subconsciously wished he was next to her, closer, and before he realized what was happening Kaiden disappeared in a blast of airy smoke, reappearing before Kalinda. Kaiden hadn't appeared right before Kalinda but had landed slightly more than half way of their distance between them. He blinked through the smoke as it quickly cleared, staring at her in surprise. "Hey!" He grinned in triumph as it was more control than he had ever had before. "It worked! Sort of..." he jogged over to her the rest of the way.

Kalinda watched Kaiden try and work it out, and she smiled, watching him watching her. As he disappeared I smoke, she looked about, seeing him reappear in front of her, halfway between the distance. She smiled "swell done!" She said as he came over "a good start. I wish we could continue, but we have to go to power development. We can continue after if you want" she said

Devika shook her head. "You don't want to do that, Nick. Attacking a teacher? You'd probably get your ass kicked, expelled, and then arrested and tossed in some facility somewhere. You're new here, so I think you should at least show up to class. I mean, that IS why you're here, right? Schools are for learning." She gave him a sideways look. "I mean, honestly. If all you want to do is perfect what you already know, you could have obviously gone elsewhere for that." A faint smile tugged at her lips. "I mean, I understand if you don't think you can fight. But... well, that's what school is for. To learn new stuff that you didn't think possible."

"Yeah." Kijani examined the rebuilt bookcase, then calmly set the books back with her powers. As the bookcase didn't collapse, she turned to the mirror and tried to neaten herself up some. "...alright, then." She grabbed her bag and smiled. "Let's go."

Kyra walked outside, her multicolored eyes flicking around at the different students and objects. She sighed boredly and yawned, stretching her arms above her head.

Nicholas gave her a quick stare eyes not angry but emotionless and empty,"True that is why I came here for even though I have no powers I can outsmart most of the halfbrians in that class..." He added calmly walking down the hallway.

"You sound like someone I know from this school." Flood reappeared next to Nicholas. "His name was Anthony. I suspect he's a murderer. I hate him." Flood said angrily as he clenched his fist. " He thinks he's superior to everyone in this school. You believe that too I can tell." Flood continued. "How superior are you to someone who doesn't give two damns about how smart you are, and will punch you the moment you say something more than three syllables?"
