[IC] Academy of Heroes and Villains

[Flood]

Flood was in the room waiting for Magneto to comeback when he heard a rustling coming from the room next to him. He left and walked in on a typewriter that looked like it had been used recently. He shrugged and began typing down his thoughts and reasoning for joining Magneto.

It was not that long until Clark and Tony had arrived, to join Barry. Both were laughing despite the situation and it would appear that they had raced each other to the school. They quickly gathered information, and Phoebe felt Like she had to speak up.

"Um" she swallowed, nervous and feeling overwhelmed. "I, uh, don't know if my plant will obey someone else, and find its mate...so...I might have to come with you. You can find magneto quicker with my help then without it" she said, her voice growing stronger as she spoke, even as she was relieved that they were here and seemed prepared to take over the situation.

"It wouldn't be s-" Clark started, but Phoebe surprised herself but cutting him off.

"Wouldn't be safe? How old were you when you first started saving the world? Probably younger then me. I wouldn't be here if I didn't expect there to be danger. I know I have a long way to go, but if I'm the only one that can Help you track magneto, who seems to be planning something horrible for the greater world at large, well, then, I'll deal with any consequences. Besides, I'll be with you guys right? So that's safe enough" as she was talking, all that went through her head was shur up Pjoebe, shut up! You're back chatting superman and ironman! Oh, forget it. It's too late..

"Doesn't look like we can argue with that Clark" Tony said with amusement, and Phoebe relaxed.

Kalinda shrughed "you said paper was your power. I found paper while looking for magneto. It was a kill two birds with one stone kind of thing" she said, looking to Nicholas "I can get you to the ground but that's about it. No offense, but your vines might not go this high and I imagine they would be weak this high up in anycase"

"That maybe true and I do not want to yes that theory...shall we get going then?" Nicholas said first looking at where Reinherdt was and now he wasn't there anymore the. Back to Kal looking to them with his usual blank dead stare.

"Let me get in the air first. Come on" Kalinda said, starting to walk, leading the way through the plane, not looking back to see if Nicholas was following, or if any of the others were. She found the (I will insert the name here when I remember it), and opened it, bracing herself as the wind buffeted her slightly.

Nicholas was right behind her when she was moved because of the open door Nicholas held onto her so that she would be sucked out of the plane,"Sorry just wanted you not to fall..." He said quietly and quickly moving his hands to his side like he was nervous.

Kalinda looked over her shoulder and smiled, "Thanks. Even if i did fall, I could have just used my flight" She pointed out, in a kind tone. "Okay" She took a deep breath, and took to the air, pushing off the walls, the floor and the roof with her telekinesis in order to keep herself hovering where she was. "Okay. Okay. Give me your hand"

Nicholas without hesitation grabbed her hand and wondered if this plan would work but he didn't doubt her abilities but rather if he could keep still and not fall to his death,When he grabbed her hand he swore he could see Reinhardt looking at them though the window like he was inside of the plan smiling at Nicholas and only him the young scientist wondering what he was planning.

[Flood]

Flood looked out of the window of the plane and sighed. He looked at a text on his phone. 'Recently heard you're on Magneto's plane. Good work inserting yourself with the enemy. Send reports daily.' It was from Nicholas Fury. "Just when I think I'm done with S..H.I.E.L.D. Wait is that..." He saw Nicholas and Kalinda floating outside. "God damn it." Flood walked out of his room and walked to the room Nicholas and Kalinda had just left. "Are you serious! You would rather jump out of a plane with no clue where you're going to land then just stay! Come on!" He yelled at them. " Just come back in the plane. Let's talk this out and not kill ourselves by jumping to certain death."

Kijani watched, not raising any objections as Kalinda and Nicholas left. As Flood came running, she shook her head. "People make their own choices, Flood. Just... let them go. They'll be fine." She had the paper on the ground, and was twisting her hands, watching it obey her. She seemed to be making some kind of clothing, and soon she settled the paper against her skin like pieces of armor.

"So... I don't really believe you, you know." Her voice was low, barely carrying over the wind. "You run from SHIELD... but I don't think, even with all your... quirks and personalities, that any part of you would be so willing to jump right into Magneto's little club. New boss, same as the old boss? You're smarter than that, I hope." She smiled, faintly. "So. What's the deal?"

Kalinda just smiled at flood "I can fly" and pulled nicholas with her "besides. I'll be back. But nicholas wasn't given the choice to come right? Bye" she leaped out the plane and let them fall for a minute, before quickly dispersing their weight-and then suddenly they weren't there.

Kalinda wasn't too sure what it felt like. A slight jolt, like you just stopped from a drop or frol going fast. But when her feet hit the ground hard enough to make her cry out, she saw...a city. She looked about, seeing the city that the academy was near to.

What had happened...?

"I think...I just teleported us" she said softly, slowly, looking to Nicholas "well. I got you closer to the school anyway"

The feeling felt exasperating but exciting to him a new feeling a rush of adrenaline,"That was quite the flight although the seats were a little cramped and the in flight movie was not so bad" Nicholas said calming down cracking a joke in his monotone voice.

His first thought was on Devika and how he wanted to see her hug her first and be and he couldn't believe but have a sense of happiness.

Flood sighed. "I never ran from S.H.I.E.L.D., they just left me at the Academy one day and never contacted me again. I'm the type of person who needs purpose. I can't just lead my own life, I have to be following someone else, helping them. That's why I joined up with Magneto. So I could have someone leading me." He pulled out his phone then. "At least that was the plan until they contacted me for the first time in 3 years. They want me toinfiltrate Magneto's inner circle and send them information on him." He put away his phone and sighed again. "All I want is a purpose. Whether it be from Magneto, SHIELD, the Academy, I just want to be needed by someone." Flood finished as he closed the airplane door after Nicholas and Kalinda left.

Kijani closed her eyes after hearing Flood speak. It was familiar to her, what he was saying. All she'd wanted from her life was for someone to know she was great. She never got it from her parents, so she sought it from her grandmother... While she hadn't given up hope that she could rub the truth of her glory in Amanda Waller's face, she still wanted the whole world to know that she, above all, was amazing. She could understand the feeling of needing someone else to guide them. Her own desire was not quite the same, but still, she understood. It took her several moments to speak past the sudden tightness in her throat.

"I get you, Flood. More than you think. I... I need other people to... to notice me." Laying her paper armored hand briefly on his shoulder, she looked him in the eyes for a quick moment. "Sometimes I feel like... if I'm not the best, then I don't exist at all." There was something bleak in her eyes, for a moment, something not there. Then she looked away. "So maybe we have to take what we want from this world, because it sure isn't giving any handouts."

Flood smiled at her. "I suppose you're correct. What are we taking then? As I see it I have three options. I can do what SHIELD says and spy on Magneto, I can join Magneto, or I can go back to the Academy and forget my own path somehow. What do you plan on doing?" He asked. "Because at this moment, I've decided I'll follow you."

"I guess just group up, came up with a strategy and then...try to take magneto down" she said, then called out "Katherin?"Kalinda stayed silent and as far away from the others as she could. She slowly tried to gain control of the torment within her, and succeed somewhat. She did at least manage to get her mental blocks up. Which didn't help much.

Katherin was at a lss. It seemed like most people were. What should they do? They desperately needed someone to take the wad. But who? They were all just students. Few of them had that much confidence in themselves. She looked up when she head someone call her name. "There you are Phoebo!" she ran over and hugged her friend. "I was getting worried that you had left with the others."

You join Magneto, but you request to be sent back to the Academy as a spy. That way, you can feed whatever info you desire to SHIELD and Magneto both... while keeping all the best parts for yourself. In the end of it... well, you are indeed forging your own path, with the maximum profit where it belongs: right in your hands." A wide smile was on her face, but the eyes were very suddenly like her grandmother's. Calculating and cool. "That's what I'd do, anyway."

Kalinda laughed, "well that's putting a positive spin on it. Go on, you may think your emotionless but to an empath, you're not. Get back to the school. Tell them about the plane. I'm going to go back" she smiled, and said "you shouldn't hold on to anger and simply have your plans as just plans and not action. Now I have no idea how I did what I did, so I'm going to go now since its a long flight back" she took to the air, and was soon high in the sky.

Phoebe smiled, releived to see Katherin, "I got worried that something had happened when I went to check everything" she said, "ryan and I were going to see about hunting magneto down and getting everyone back. But now we got Ryans Dad, Mr. stark and Mr. Kent here." Worry entered her tone, but she banished that away, "Magneto has Nicholas. I need to go save him"

"Connor. You need to come back"

Connor was not at all surprised to have his father speak to him. He waited a moment before replying. "Dad. You said I should come to the academy because it would help me become who I am suppose to be. Well. It's been a long ride, and I have learned a lot. One thing I never needed to be taught was that my friends, those i care about, and even for strangers, for the whole would, were worth giving my life for. You taught me that when I was seven. Magneto has come, disrupted peace and has aimed at taking people I know, my classmates, my friends, and Kijani away. If being a hero means turning my back on them, then maybe I don't want to be a hero. This is my choice, dad. And I will follow it through. Coming back to the school means turning my back on everything I care about. Turning my back on Kijani and I will never do that. While I want your pride and blessings, I can live without it. I can not live with the shame of not doing something when I could have done something. I'm not a child anymore. I am doing this"

He put more power into his thrusters, shooting across the sky, his silver and blue suit gleaming where the sun hit it

"Of course you need to save him. We need to safe everyone. I know a few went with him willingly but I think many of them went out of fear or curiousity. We need to bring back anyone who wants to come back. And let those who don't want to come back to know that they will always be ready to welcome them back should they wish to return." Katherin told her.

Nicolas nodded thanking her once more before leaving he would run to the gym to find Devika or his other to tell him that he was alright but would they care,A question that raced in his mind would they care if you were gone he would think they would care but doubt settlers in his mind as he ran to the gym.
