The one Flood tripped was Kagerou, having figured out where everyone was going. Not really having expected to be tripped it did catch her off guard. In a split second decision she decided to take the hit and face planted on the ground. Picking herself up she looked around but didn't spot Flood. "What the hell?" Getting to her feet she noticed Phoebe with Gale. "Oh, hello there. I tripped or something." Slightly embarrassed she glanced around for her plate that should have fallen but it didn't see it anywhere.

Phoebe sighed and snatched kageros plate back from Flood, "for God sake Flood, do you think before you act? Go get your own food! You could have seriously hurt her!" She turned to Kagerou, checking her over for any obvious signs of blood. "You didn't fall by yourself. Flood tripped you, "are you okay?" She asked with concern, shooting a glare at Flood. "Katherin will probably be here soon" She said with a resigned sigh, before addressing Kagerou again, "do you want to join us? Gale here is new too"

Looking at Flood for a moment she sighed and rolled her eyes. Great, there was one of those here. Just another thing to add to her list. Smiling to reassure Phoebe Kagerou brushed herself off. "I'll heal. Takes a lot more than that to keep me down." Following what was being said she turned to Gale. "Oh good, I'm not the only one then. My name is Kagerou." She smiled as she spoke to Gale.

"Hi." Makoto said. Slowly coming back to herself. Her name was already introduced so she didn't feel the need to give it a second time. She was kind of surprised at what Flood did, both in how it was mean but also that his movements were so fluid. She made a mental note not to get into a fight with him. Makoto was now even more confused about food. Phoebe had said that she didn't need money for it, but Flood had said he did need it. Unless that was part of his ... insanity, for lack of a better word. "Why don't we all go get food now, like Phoebe suggested?" Makoto asked the group, hoping that a potential disagreement may be avoided. It was refreshing however, that the students she has met so far seem to accept everyone for who or what they are, despite the butting of heads.

As soon as Beast began to dismiss the class Kat stood and walked to the door. Following the stream of students she walked into the cafeteria. Lunch today was a sweet squash broth with hot bread, which she took to an empty table to enjoy.

Her peace was interrupted by the crash of someone falling and she looked up in time to see Flood swipe the tray. Kat gave a subtle wave of her hand and the stolen food grew stale and mouldy in a matter of seconds. Content with her work she tore off some bread and dunked it in the broth with a slight smirk.

"I knew she wouldn't be hurt. If she was, she shouldn't be in a school for heroes and villains." He said as he observed his food become moldy. He looked at Gale and saw her face. "Yes it was mean. But the cafeteria has banned me from getting food here after a certain incident I would rather not explain, and I don't have the necessary money for food elsewhere. It puts me in a moral dilemma. Sorry about that by the way." He apologized to Kagerou as an afterthought. "I'm Flood, as I'm sure you've gathered."

Nicholas was watching them from the door of the cafeteria and decided on walking in and introducing himself to the two new students or the people he had not met yet,"I thought you would be a little more welcoming to the new students Flood but you are no offence not very good with first impressions..." He said as a sort of joke walking over to the group making a quick mental note of the two.

Phoebe sighed, "You could ask someone to get you food, instead of stealing other students tray's, which you have been doing since the year started, so clearly, you have no moral judgement there, and therefore, no dilemma" She said, shaking her head, looking over as Nicholas joined them.

She couldn't remember the last time she'd eaten with anyone besides Katherin and Ryan. It was strange, she tried so hard to get along with all the students, but when she didn't try hard, everyone just seemed to flock together. Perhaps it was the novelty of Makoto and Kagerou. Or something else entirely. She didn't know.

"I'm going to get some food" She said, rising to go get her lunch.

Kalinda was failing dramatically at replicating the teleporting ability. She just seemed to fall from the sky. In frustration, she tried once more, but again, there was no result. Finally thinking she better get some lunch, she started towards the ground, only to feel the rush of the teleporting, the whirl of colours and shapes. She slammed her eyes shut, and braced herself. She stumbled when she stopped, and threw out her arms, catching herself on a cafeteria table

She opened her eyes, glancing about her, seeing she had practically landed on a group of her class mates, nearly falling into Nicholas. "Well. That wasn't meant to happen"

Nicholas looked over to her with a eyebrow arched looking or rather watching her come out of nowhere and landing on the table in front of them,"That is quite fine but what were you doing and coming out of nowhere?" He asked her calmly wiping a piece of food of his his shoulder.He was going to ask that her remembered her form the plane but was going to ask this question later on in the conversation.

Kalinda shrugged, "Teleportation. Like yesterday." Kalinda seemed almost normal as she snatched an apple from the table, and bit into it, "I...thought about food and here I am" She shrugged, and sat down.

With a slight grimace Kagerou shook her head. "How exactly does stealing improve your reputation with the kitchen staff?" Listening to what Phoebe said she brought up a good suggestion. Seeing a good opportunity to end some of the tension she addressed Flood. "You know Flood, you could just ask me if you need food. I don't really need much to be honest." In truth she didn't need to eat at all. But it was one of life's luxuries to her. When Kalinda showed up Kagerou took a step back. Teleportation huh? Always an interesting ability to deal with. Things were getting a bit busy so she went with Phoebe to get another plate. But not before telling Flood to stay put. "Don't go anywhere. I'm going to get us something to eat."

Kijani heard Connor step back in, and the warmth of the blankets covering her. His weight hit the bed. She heard what he said, that she never had to be sorry. Her chest hurt- she was holding her breath, trying to hold back the urge to weep. How could he possibly say something like that? How could he give her such an open lie, saying she should never be sorry, when he didn't know half of what went through her head? If he knew who she was deep down, he wouldn't say so. She knew that, she knew it- once people figured out what she wasn't, they'd be gone...

Kijani held still and tried to fake sleeping until the sleeping pill kicked in. It was quick on an empty stomach, and she dropped into unconscious dark.

Devika got off the wall once class was over, and made it quickly to the cafeteria. She got her food before the place filled up, and quickly headed outside. Her head was buzzing just from that, and the cafeteria had hardly been full. Today would be a headache day, she knew. Too many people, too many emotions. Too much.
